What am I suppose to do a day without Xion? I guess I have to figure it out till she comes back from her trip with Roxas this afternoon.

I told myself this while laying in bed the next morning. I just stared at the ceiling, thinking about her and if she was alright. I yawn and slowly get out of bed and put some pajama pants on and headed to the bathroom. Ventus was already in there.

"How long are you going to be?" I ask.

"I'm taking a shower Vanitas, you should of came in earlier."

"Just unlock the door and let me take a piss, jump in the shower and close the curtain so I do not have to see you and you don't have to see me."

I heard him grumble something and heard the lock, unlock, and I waited till he said, "Okay, you can come in now."

I headed in there and hurried and took a piss, then I flushed the toliet and ran the hell out of there when Ventus yells out.

"VANITAS! YOU KNOW NOT TO FLUSH THE TOLIET WHEN SOMEONE IS IN THE SHOWER! OH MY LORD!"

I chuckled and hurried back in to my room and changed in to some black khakis and a white tank top and headed downstairs, not even in the mood for breakfast today and went out the door. Now what to do till Xion comes back from her trip, maybe I will go to the beach and get a tan? Yup, that was the plan.

I went back in the house to grab my towel and went straight back out. I started to head down the road to the beach so I could get on the boat to the islands. While I was walking down I had seen Sora, Kairi, and Riku walking together coming, what it seemed like downtown, and they all looked up at me and actually Sora gave me a wave and so did Kairi. Riku just stared right at me.

I nodded back to them and waved hi for them also, it wasn't like me…was I changing? Am I turning good? No, it cant happen after what I have all done to everyone. So I finally made it to the beach and gotten in to the boat and headed to the islands. After getting the on the dock I headed to the back door where there was an other part of the island where not to many people go. I get to backdoor and headed towards the spot that I have always liked to be at. The spot is underneath the weird rope gliding structure and it had some shading but not to much.

I liked the spot the most is because I can put my feet in to the water while relaxing. This has always made me feel more relaxed than anything before. I lay the towel down and sat down. I took my sandals off and my tank top off and laid down and put my feet in to the nice cool water. I wish it could always be like this. I closed my eyes and without realizing it, I had feel asleep and woken up one hour later, or I thought.

"Fuck, what time is it?" Obviously I did not have a watch so it did not help anything. I get up and put my tank top back on and I had felt the sunburn go through my shirt. Great, now I am going to be in pain. I go through the door and headed to the boat and headed back to the main beach. I finally get there and started to head back home to put some sun burn relieve on. I know I wanted a tan, which I will get one, but I hate going through the pain of it. After walking ten minutes I heard a voice calling my name.

It was Xion.

Xion runs up to me and gives me a big hug. I grunted a little when she noticed that I was in pain.

"Are you alright Vanitas?" She asks.

"Yeah, I got major sun burn and you just touched it."

"Oh…I'm sorry." She looks down.

I lift her head with my hand, "It's fine, don't be sorry. How was your fun day with Roxas?"

"Well it was fun actually, we started by getting some sea-salt ice cream and went around twilight town for a while and hanging out with his friends there. Then it was him and me and most of the day we had stayed up at the clock tower, talking about everything."

"What did you guys talk about?" I ask while walking towards my house.

"We talk about the problems we were having from before you then the last conversation was about you."

"Oh lord, what did he say about me?"

"He still doesn't approve but he told me that he will accept me hanging out with you because you have shown that you truly cared about me, when you went over last night to confront him."

I smiled, so he finally somewhat likes me? "That's a good start for me than, isn't it?"

Xion giggles, "Yes it is."

We finally reached my house and I had open the door. Xion goes in to the living room while I went to go find the sun burn reliever and went back in to the living room and had ask Xion, "Would you mind putting this on my back a little? I can't reach the back of my shoulders."

Xion blushes, "Um, sure."

Xion puts some in her hand and gently rubs it in on the back of my shoulders. This will take away the pain for a little while. I told Xion it was fine and she closes the lid and goes to the bathroom to wash her hands off. I get up and go to the kitchen to grab some water. A few minutes later Xion walks in.

"Xion, you thirsty?"

"A little bit, do you have orange juice?"

"Yeah, let me get it for you." I said.

I go in to the fridge and grab the box of orange juice and poured a glass and handed to Xion.

"Thank you Vanitas." Xion says smiling.

"No problem."

I sit right beside her and we talk for a couple of minutes when I remembered something she said last night.

"So, what did I say when I was pass out last night?" I give her a curious look.

Xion smiles, "You were saying all kinds of stuff. You said that you wanted to kiss me for starters."

My face goes up in flames, that is how I felt.

"Um, you see…it was an dream."

Xion giggles, "Its fine Vanitas. Because actually…"

Xion leans in and kisses me on the lips. I back up surprised.

"Wow, Xion…"

"You didn't like it?"

"No, I mean yes I did but.."

"But what?"

"It was just out of nowhere, give me a heads up next time." I smile, "Plus, there is something I need to tell you."

Xion has a worried look on her face, "What is it?"

"Don't worry, its nothing bad. It is just…since the day I meet you when you were being attacked by that guy. I just felt instantly a connection with you like, I have never felt with an girl before. I just thought I would just end up never finding the right one because of my past. Since that day and everyday we get a chance to talk or hang out. I fall more and more in love with you. I can't help myself, every time you are gone from my sight, I think of you. When you cried that day and had those scars, you had worried me but my love for you kept getting stronger. I don't know what I would do without you here. I want to be your one and only. I want to be the one who you cry on when there is no one else around. I want you to tell me everything that would be wrong. I want to hold your hand through the good and bad times…"

Xion is quiet for a couple of minutes. Crap, I probably over did it. I look down, trying to avoid what look she was going to give me. I heard the stool move and saw arms hugging around me and one of her hands lifted my head up to see her face expression.

She was smiling, "Vanitas…I couldn't of said that better than myself. I have loved you since we meet. It was like love at first sight but I was just afraid to tell you because I thought you would be weird out by it. When you helped me with those scars, I know I wanted to be also your one and only."

I lean my head down and gave her a kiss. It felt we were standing there for the longest time, kissing each other when I heard someone behind us.

"So, you and Xion are together now huh?"

Out of all people to come in….it would be Ventus.

"Yes, we are." Xion holds my hand and looks up at me with an smile. I couldn't help but to smile back.

"Well congrats you two. There is an party on the main beach if you want to come. Aqua and Terra wanted me to tell you that while getting some sun block."

Ventus leaves and I look at Xion, "Do you wanna go?"

"Can you handle more sun?" Xion giggles.

I roll my eyes and brought the sun burn rleieve with us. I was holding it with one hand while holding Xion hand in the other. We took our time getting there and when we had arrived. Everyone just stared at us like we just committed a murder or something. We make towards Aqua and Terra who had the family blanket on the beach already and the both of them noticed that Xion and I were holding hands and gave each other smiles, already knowing what is going on. I sat down and no later Xion did and we talked to Aqua and Terra for a while when I heard a cough from behind me. It was Roxas.

"Hey Vanitas, can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Um, sure. I will be right back Xion." I get up and Xion looks at us while we walked away so we were out of ear distance.

"So, its true that you and Xion are…" Roxas says.

"Yeah, I'm guessing you have a problem with it?"

"No, I just wanted to…say that I am glad that she is with you than someone else. Overall, just please take good care of her because if you don't then you are going to have to deal with me." Roxas smiles.

I smile, " I promise to keep her safe."

Roxas nods his head and goes back over to Namine. I go back to Xion who looks up at me and I simply just gave her a thumbs up and she must of known what that meant because she turned her head to Roxas, she smiled at me. Later that night, we were still on the beach and Xion and I were laying down when the fireworks went off. Xion puts her head on my chest.

"This is a pretty neat fireworks show, what is this for?"

"To celebrate Sora and everyone for defeating Xemmas and that whole crew." I turn and smiled to Xion.

Xion smiles back and we kissed each other and look back up to the fireworks. "

I will have to say that I am actually happy for once in my life and I am glad that I get to spend it with you Xion."

"Me too Vanitas."

I roll on top of her, "Guess what?"

Xion faces turned red, I could sense it, "W-what?"

"I love you."

Xion was speechless again and smiles, 'I love you too Vanitas, forever and always."

I smile, "Forever and always."

We kiss again for the longest time, I did not want it to end but Aqua and Terra came back so I laid back down and we continued to watch the fireworks. The whole time Xion laid on my chest, listening to my heartbeat just for her.
