The Kamishiro twins always preferred the air and aquatic life that surrounded them. Whether it be birds or fish, the siblings always held their preferences towards those creatures. Cats were a no-no, seeing as Rio feared the prowling felines, and Ryoga couldn't say he was too fond of them himself. One (namely Tsukumo Yuma) would think the Kamishiro siblings enjoyed dogs quite a bit! However...

"Absolutely not." The response came out as a seething growl, Ryoga's brows furrowed in disgust. A loud yap could be heard, causing him to cringe again.

"Awww, but why not?!" Yuma whined, big eyes looking up at his friend. That look Ryoga had trouble resisting. Another yap, another cringe.

"I said-"

"Just for a couple of hours, please!" The younger boy picked up the small dog and handed him to Ryoga. "All you have to do is watch over and play with him! Just for a bit!" He smiled sheepishly, with that smile... Ryoga sighed, still a bit tense from that incessant yapping.

He agreed, knowing all too well that he'd most certainly regret this decision.

In fact, it wasn't even an hour before Ryoga desperately wanted to leave the small dog outside. All he did was bark and chew on various objects in his home. The nickname "Little Shit" would work quite well, but the dog surely already had a name, right? Not like it mattered much to Shark, but it would certainly be better than referring the small dog as "that thing."

As he sorted through his cards, Ryoga caught eye of the dog watching him. It was the first time he stopped yapping, but it was strange. It almost looked as if the dog was looking at his cards, particularly... Ryoga picked two of his newest cards: Numbers 73 and 94, the two Legendary Numbers that belong to the siblings.

While Ryoga's mind was still wrapped around the mystery of those "hallucinations" he experienced back at the underwater ruins, he train of thought was interrupted by a series of growls. Of course those noises belonged to the dog, but why on earth was he acting like this all of a sudden?

He tucked the cards away, and so did the dog's growls. Ryoga thought nothing of it though, as the endless yapping quickly returned and remained for the rest of the afternoon.

Ryoga later told Yuma he had thought of quite the fitting name for the dog: Vector.
