So with all the shorts I've been writing for this lately, I've decided I wanted to keep a clean and clear distinction between the Shorts and the Chapters. So I've gone ahead and published the four shorts under another story, called The Ripple Effect: the Outtakes. Please follow&favorite the Outtakes at your earliest convenience, because as soon as I go back to the main story I'm taking down the four shorts already in Effect, which I've already posted in Outtakes.

I'm working on the next full chapter, and I do a time skip- meaning, we won't be jumping into things the minute Kiba's released from Sai's interrogation. It'll be some time later. I do have material from within the skipped time, material that will more than likely be posted in Outtakes, hence why I made it a point that you follow it.

Hopefully, this makes sense.

That being said, I need to go back to writing. I'm a bit busy, with school and work and what have you, so I can't give you a set date for when the chapter will be out. Just have a little faith, please? Thank you. Have a good day, lovelies!
