Poluchka opened the door to the room where she kept the guests that needed critical attention and turned down the hall to the living room. She took one step before almost tripping over something soft.

She looked down to see Lucy curled up and asleep, laying right in her way. A tick mark appeared on her old forehead, but her eyes were almost soft as she looked at the blonde girl.

The pink haired woman stepped over her and walked into the main room to find Reedus painting one of his many pictures.

"Reedus," she said softly, not wanting to wake the blonde down the hall. "Would you kindly move Lucy to one of the spare rooms?"

The round man got up and leisurely made his way to where Lucy lay asleep.

"And hurry up would you?" Poluchka's tone scared the man into moving quickly. A few minutes later, Lucy was comfy in a guest bedroom, fast asleep. "That's all, please head back and tell Mirajane whatever she wants to know," she said tiredly. "Don't say anything about this to anyone until you go to her first, got it?"

"Yeah," Reedus murmured and walked out. Once he was gone, the old woman nearly collapsed on the couch herself.

"I'm getting too old for this," she grumbled, and went into her room; half an hour later she was asleep in her bed.

*Lucy's POV*

Lucy cracked open a single brown eye, and wincing a little at a ray of sunshine that just so happened to like her face.

Once she had completely woken up she noticed that a.) she was in a spare room and b.) there was a certain pink haired boy laying at the foot of her bed. A tick mark appear on her forehead as she scowled at him.

"Natsu!" she kicked him off the bed and he landed on the ground and groaned.

"Ow Luce," he grumbled, sitting up and rubbing his head a bit. "I was sleeping there."

"Yeah," Lucy said, another tick mark popping out. "Sleeping ON ME!"

"You never minded before."

"Lucy… KICK!"

Lucy walked out of the room, leaving a battered Natsu laying on the floor unconscious. She went down the hall, into the living room to see all her friends standing there.

Gray, Erza, Gajeel, Mirajane, and Juvia all sitting in the room, looking rather uncomfortable.

"Lucy!" Erza exclaimed, the first to notice her.

"Hey…" she said, giving a weak and awkward wave. They all gave a sigh of relief as soon as they saw that their precious blonde haired singer was okay.

"Where were you?" Gray asked. "You totally dropped off the map after you called Mira!"

"Sorry, I just… got caught up in something…." Lucy said, glancing over to Mirajane for help.

"Well," Mirajane began. "She is safe, so is that girl, so everything is okay."

"Juvia wants to know what girl?" Juvia asked, everyone wanting to know the same thing.

"A girl, Levy, she got in- uh- a fight, and I sort of saved her," Lucy lied, not comfortable saying the real way she met the girl without her permission.

They all just stared at her in shock, Gray's mouth even fell open a bit.

"Wait a moment, Bunny Girl stopped a fight? Like, on her own?" Gajeel exclaimed, looking totally disbelieving.

"Yes, actually," Lucy puffed, and Erza gave a sharp nod of appreciation.

"I'm proud that you protected her, but you should have at least called us to tell us what happened," the redhead stated, and Lucy looked down a little guiltily.

"Sorry," she said, and was going to say more, but Poluchka walked in, cutting her off.

"She's physically stable," the pink haired woman announced. "But, she is a bit…. Out of it."

"Out of it?" Gajeel asked, and Poluchka scowled.

"When you are assaulted-," but she paused when she saw Lucy shake her head wildly. "… Like she was… you tend to feel a little paranoid, you out of everyone should understand that, Gajeel." Lucy, gave out a relieved sigh that Poluchka didn't spill anything, and held in a giggle at Gajeel's pout.

"May I go check on her?" Lucy asked, and the doctor gave a nod. "Thank you." She got up, throwing one last glance around the room before heading back to see if she just how Levy was doing.

"Knock, knock," she muttered, cracking open the door to the room, and seeing Levy on the bed reading a book. She took a moment to just look at her, like, really look at her.

"Hey," Lucy said, stepping in the rest of the way, finally catching Levy's attention. The bluenette jumped, winding back the book to through until she saw who it was.

"S-sorry!" She exclaimed, dropping the book back into her lap, and Lucy couldn't help but to laugh.

"Nah, it's fine, sorry for startling you." Yeah, that probably wasn't the best idea she had today, Lucy thought with a wince. "So, how are you feeling?"

"I've had some better days," Levy answered, ducking her head to try and hid her sad smile. But, Lucy saw it, so she forced a laugh to try to catch her attention.

"Haven't we all… So—," Lucy began, but Levy cut her off a moment later.

"Oh my god," she muttered, staring at Lucy with wide eyes.

"What?!" Lucy started to check herself, thinking there might be a bug on her.

"Y-You're Lucy," she said, and Lucy nodded her head.

"And you're Levy, what's your point?"

"You are Lucy Heartfilia, from Fairy Dance, and you saved me." Oh yeah, Lucy though with a dumb smile, I forgot I was famous.

"Er, yeah, I suppose I did," she said with a shrug, rubbing the back of her neck nervously.

"Why did you save me?" Levy asked her a moment later, and Lucy took the pause to sit herself at the end of the bed.

"Well… why wouldn't I?" Lucy asked, and Levy suddenly was unable to meet her eyes.

"Because, I'm well… me." Tears started welling up in her eyes, and Lucy closed the small gap between them and pulled her into a hug.

"You make it sound like you're a bad thing," she whispered, and Levy broke down sobbing, so Lucy held her. When Levy finally got control over herself, the girls went back to sitting crisscrossed on opposite sides of the bed.

"Hey," Lucy began, breaking the silence. "So, I was wondering since you can't go back to your house, that maybe you would want to move in with me and the band."

"Wait, really?" Levy said, her voice still a little hoarse from crying.

"Yea, it would be cool to have you around, you're a really nice girl." She gave an encouraging smile to prove her point, and Levy nodded dumbly.

"Thank you," she said, hoping that those two words would be able to relay at least some of the crazy amount of gratitude she had.

"Anytime," Lucy said, and they continued talking till Levy looked about to doze off in the middle of her sentence.

"Well, I better get going, you rest and get out of this dingy place as soon as possible, yea?" Lucy said, getting up and walking over to the door.

"M'kay," Levy replied, laying down and pulling up the sheet on her bed up to her chin. "Night, Lucy."

"Night, Levy," she muttered, quietly shutting the door behind her.

"You were in there for a while," Mirajane said from next to her, making Lucy jump and turn towards her.

"Oh, Mira! You scared me," Lucy breathed, holding a hand over her racing heart.

"Sorry," she said, not sounding sorry at all. "So how was she?"

"Better, hey would it be possible for her to move in with us?" Lucy asked, trying to make it sound as casual as possible.

"She can't go home?" Mira asked, sounding slightly surprised. And Lucy shook her head 'no'.

"That would not end well," Lucy stated, and prayed that Mira would not ask about it. Though, knowing her, she probably already put the pieces together.

"Yea, I already started to get a room ready, remember?" She said, smiling, and Lucy gave her a quick hug.

"Thanks, Mira!" She squealed.

"Oi, Luce, there you are!" Natsu called from the living room and rushing over. "Come on, I'm starving!"

"Okay, okay," she laughed, and suddenly felt absolutely exhausted . "Let's go home."
