Deadpool's daughter
I do not own X-Men in any way.
"Attention everyone, this is our newest recruit Kitana", Professor Xavier said.
She unconsciously twirled the blades in her hand.
Logan had seen those blades before.
The last time he fought Wade Wilson on the Three Mile Island.
Logan approached her as she practiced in the courtyard. "Nice blades", he said.
"Thanks. They were my late father's, although…I think you know him as Deadpool", she said.
"How did you…?" he asked.
"You're not the only one who Stryker did experiments on", she said.
"What kind of experiments?" Logan asked.
"Changing my DNA like my father. Got your super healing, some telepathic abilities, along with what I inherited from my father", she said.
"The predisposition for sharp pointy things?" Logan asked her.
"No", she said rolling her eyes, "My natural skill with a blade".
"So what happened?" Logan asked.
"Stryker found out about me and kidnapped me. I was the result of a one night stand. Out of my father's children, I was the only one who got the mutant gene", she said, "My father just stood there and let Stryker experiment on me. He kept telling me it was for my own good. I wouldn't have gotten off that island if it weren't for Remy".
"LeBeau?" he asked, "He was a kid when I met him".
"Well, whatever they did to you, happened to me too", she said, "I don't age. Neither does Remy".
"So how'd you get your father's blades?" he asked.
"I swiped them while we were running", she said, "A nice trick I learned from a certain Cajun".
"What about your name?" he asked.
"Given to me by Gambit when he saw my skill with the blades", she explained.
"Your real name", Logan said.
"Katherine…LeBeau", she said.
"You married him?" Logan asked.
"Going on ten years now. He saved my life. I love him", she told him.
"So how come you two aren't together now?" Logan asked.
"You know Remy. Never stays in one place for very long. He has restless energy", she said, "No pun intended".
Logan smiled. "Well you certainly inherited your father's mouth", Logan quipped.
Suddenly, her phone started to ring. She sheathed her swords and answered it. "Hello darling", she cooed.
Logan listened to their conversation filled with sweet nothings and endearments.
"I actually met one of your old contacts. A certain Logan with claws made of Adamantium", she told him.
"I will have to come up and see mon vieux ami (my old friend)", Remy said.
Kitana blushed and said, "That's really not necessary".
"Relax cherie. It's not just him I want to see", he purred.
"Remy LeBeau. We have company", she said.
"I shall see you in a few days", he said and hung up.
"Not much for goodbyes, is he?" Logan asked.
"Well, I'll see you later", she said, "I think the Professor wants to speak with me".
Logan nodded and watched her start to leave.
"Oh and Logan…don't feel bad about killing my father", she told him.
A few days later, Remy arrived.
"Je vous ai manqué mon cher mari (I've missed you my dear husband)", Kitana rambled in French.
"Et je vous ai manqué ma belle épouse (And I've missed you my beautiful wife)", Remy purred.
Logan and the others watched in disgust as Kitana enthusiastically kissed the Cajun.
She lightly pushed Remy back. "Logan", she said breathing heavily.
He walked up and Remy shook hands with him.
"Haven't aged a day", Remy quipped.
Kitana lightly slapped him on the arm.
"Well you two are certainly meant for each other", Logan said.
"Vous me blessez mon ami (You wound me, my friend)", Remy said.
"What did he just say?" Logan said, claws extending.
"Nothing", she said placing herself between the two men, "Really Logan. It was nothing. Come on Remy. We have some catching up to do". She grabbed his hand and dragged him upstairs.
"Still as young as the day I met them", Xavier said rolling up.
"I'll say", Logan grumbled.
