The Final Chapter

It was finally over. After the relentless battles, the sacrifices, the pain and turmoil it was all over. Itsuki was finally gone and the Mobius Strip was saved from being destroyed. The damaged caused was fixed and the chaos emeralds from Kazuko's dimension scattered back into it's proper dimension.

Zonic was healed thankfully with Henrietta's care and saw Kazuko collapsed. Shadow inspected him to see if his own emerald left his body. Henrietta was quick to burst to tears seeing if it costed him his life. But Shadow's smirk caused only a sigh of relief for Henrietta.

Shadow learned from Zero and the other leaders of the their factions that everything was stable and back to normal again. Shadow carried Kazuko and Zonic carrying them to Tristain.

Kazuko woke up to see Henrietta sitting beside his bed reading to him in his sleep. Kazuko smiled and felt a massive relief he had never felt before. The dream of knowing the fighting was over and he could finally start a life with Henrietta. It was all becoming true.

Henrietta held Kazuko's hand and cried tears of joy upon seeing him recover to her relief. "Your alright.", she said almost wanting to scream it to the heavens but tried to contain in her joy.

"Henrietta...", Kazuko said softly. She leaned in closer and was nearly inches from his face. Kazuko wasted no time and passionately kissed Henrietta. He pulled her deep into the kiss not caring about anything else except this moment. Henrietta returned his affection hugged him as tight as she could. The pain from the battle still hurt Kazuko as she hugged him but he didn't let it bother him as he tried focusing only on feeling of her love. Kazuko and Henrietta broke it off briefly and smiled at one another. Henrietta removed her crown from her head and let her hair down. Kazuko touched her cheek causing her to lightly blush in response.

After the battle Zonic returned and began to restore the old method of keeping the cosmic highway of the mobius strip under control. While the battle was not without it's costs many people celebrated their victory. Shortly after the celebrating, Henrietta and everyone else be present to honor the names of everyone who died to give them this future.

"Prince Wales, Jean Colbert, Julio Chesaré, Agnès Chevalier de Milan, and Kirche Augusta Frederica Von Anhalt Zerbst. Today we not only are grateful for having endured a most astronomical battle that many other men and women fought for. But these individuals were what made this day possible had it not been fro their sacrifices. While we have much to rebuild, with aiding the fallen country of Albion and our own we stand here to also remind ourselves of our strength and resilience. I look at each of you and I see young, brave souls who have bright lives to lead now, and while this won't be the last battle we may face, we certainly overcame our darkest. And we will live them out as we decide because that is what will honor these fallen comrades memories the most.", Henrietta said.

Tabitha was the first to put a bouquet of flowers on Kirche's grave, while Montmorency laid one for Julio, Saito for Jean, Guiche for Prince Wales, and Louise for Agnes.

One month later...

Kazuko and Henrietta's wedding reached to the point of them saying 'I do' and they both had Saito and Louise have their own official marriage coincide with their own making it a double wedding. Everyone who had managed to survive the war was there in celebration with Louise's own sister approving of her choice. As both couples said their final two words the priest pronounced them all Husband and Wife.

The crowds were in applause and some cried at how happy this was for them. For Kazuko, it was the happiest moment of his life and he himself was teary-eyed by how overjoyed he was. Henrietta comforted him feeling just as happy as he was. The party soon began with everyone enjoying themselves despite the overwhelming odds the just overcame and tried to leave the memories of the battle far behind for this occasion.

Saito and Louise hit the dance floor and instead of their usual waltz and sophisticated manner, they instead went wild and danced to the up-beat music to their hearts content. Kazuko and Henrietta however as soon as the party began decided to leave early to Henrietta's surprise. "Kazuko why are we leaving so early?", she asked.

"Do you trust me?", he replied.

"Of course."

"Then don't worry.", Kazuko took a horse and rode off into the forest where Henrietta was wondering what sort of surprise she was going to have. A few minutes passed and to her surprise was a small house made only for her and Kazuko. "Kazuko, how did...when did?", she said in disbelief.

"I made this a week after the battle ended. It took a little time since my chaos powers aren't what they used to, and Saito and Guiche helped.", Kazuko said.

"It's beautiful, its just... oh Kazuko it's perfect. But wait.", she paused for a moment pondering a very serious question. "What about when we have..."

"It's big enough for three. And even better I just recently had a set of mirrors so that we can come from the palace and here whenever we feel like it.", Kazuko said.

"It's perfect Kazuko. I don't know how else to say it. I just...", Henrietta started to cry and hugged Kazuko lovingly. "I love you Kazuko. You are just perfect in every sense of the word.", she said.

"I love you too Henrietta. Your the best thing to have ever come in to my life.", Kazuko said back to her.

"The world feels much smaller now doesn't it? Without anyone coming from across the strip I feel like were finally allowed to do as we wish.", Henrietta said.

"It's big enough for me to settle down in. Right now I would not have it any other way.", they starred off to see the lights shining from the party as the sky became darker and the stars shined bright like the water. "Well, do you want to go back to the party my darling?", Kazuko asked.

"Yes, I'd like that very much. It would be perfect."

The two walked back to join with their friends and experience the joys of life.

Epilogue:

Kazuko and Henrietta eventually settled down and had a family together. Believing it was best to put an end to the madness, Henrietta and Kazuko adopted a girl naming her Kara. They ruled Tristain until the next was in line living out the rest of their days happily. While Kazuko still had the chaos emerald, it's power was slowly waning on him. It was clear one day he would die, but it mattered little having the relief to know he wouldn't outlive his friends and family.

Saito and Louise served under Henrietta and Kazuko even after they eventually stepped down and gave it to their adoptive daughter. Saito and Louise were able to ravel back to Saito's home world thanks to Zonic owing them for saving his life. Louise was able to use her void magic to travel to Japan and Tristain where they lived out their lives in between both worlds.

Kazuko and Saito continued their friendship after the battle. They often hung out when Henrietta did the royal duties of the queen and getting into trouble.

Louise brought great honor to her family making her parents and sisters proud. She decided that after how she poorly treated Saito at first, she wrote a new law on mage/familiar relationships: No starving, whipping, and no treating them like dogs.

Guiche tried his best to stay with Montmorency after the battle but still had difficulty staying single. However they hooked up and had a total of 4 kids.

Tabitha took over as her countries new leader. During that though her mother was cured of her insanity curse with the help of Saito and Louise.

Shadow returned to Kazuko and Saito's dimension and safeguarded it for them while they remained in Tristain. Little is known of him after that, but many believe he found peace in his life.

The leaders and fighters from the other worlds went about their fated paths and left to become what destiny orchestrated them to do.

Richard's body was cremated after Zonic reestablished the Zone police and had the Mobius Strip restored to it's glory.

Tristain rebuilt itself with much struggle and other adventures leading to it recovering from the war between it and The Order. Albion also managed to recover but never again reclaimed its former glory. They re adapted to a new form of life while managing to preserve their culture.

Eventually Kazuko passed away having lived a decent fulfilling life along with his wife and friends.

It was a great run in the end,

leaving behind something to be proud of.

Thank you so much for everyone who followed and favorited my story. This my not be that great but I can look proudly at this saying, I wrote that and I finished it.

For those who follow my Itsuki Uchiha Chronicles story, I promise it will be done as well but not for a while. The next time I get the chance to work on it I will but I am going back to college for my third semester. When a break shows up I will finish it but not super fast just to wrap it up so lazily.
