X-x-o-o—Junk—o-o-x-X
Having been a pharaoh before being granted another chance at life by the gods, Atem has never been able to forget all the things he was taught. He had to keep reminding himself, that he was not a living god anymore. Not that he ever thought himself better than anyone else. It was just the little stuff, like someone bumping against him on the street and saying rude things. That was something he needed to work on.
There were a few habits that were hard to break. He was always taught to love his body. It was a gift granted from the gods and for him, it literally was that. He was granted a body so he could live in modern day Japan with his beloved Yuugi and their friends. That is why, he adored his body. He loved it and was never ashamed of it. He had become a part-time nudist, which is one of the biggest reasons his kids never brought friends home. They thanked all known deities that their dad wore clothes outside and that their apartment was on the topmost floor, making peeping inside difficult.
Kicking the covers off of him, Atem sat up and stretched. Opening up the curtains, he saw that it was a very nice day out. The sun was shining and the sky was clear. It was getting hot out so he had ditched his pajamas and slept nude. He walked into the kitchen, where two of his children and his spouse were already present.
"Morning." He greeted his family. Yuusei and Yuugi returned the greeting, not looking up while Juudai groaned.
"Dad! Cover your junk." He sighed.
Atem scoffed. Why couldn't his son understand that the body was a gift of the gods and shouldn't be hidden away by clothing?
"This is not junk. This is a gift by the gods. A treasure to be worshipped!" He scoffed as he glared at his son.
Juudai groaned. He did NOT want to see his dad's junk every freaking morning. It ruined his appetite and he was a growing boy, he needed his nutritiens. His dad was the reason he never brought friends home. "No one worships it so put some clothes on!"
Atem smirked. "Your mom worships it." He was out of the room after he had a good look of the horrified look on Juudai's face. He knew he was embarrassing his children, but hey, he was a dad. That was his job.
Juudai's mouth had dropped open. He looked at Yuugi next to him and saw that his mother was looking away from him, a blush on his cheeks. Yuusei burst out laughing.
"I hate this family." Juudai sighed, slumping in his chair.
Author's Note: This will unfortunately also be the last drabble for a little while. I'm taking a break from writing, more details in the last chapter of Sharing is Caring. I have no more drabbles left in the stockpile I had made unfortunately.
