"A wrestling show?" Jake said raising his eyebrow.

"Yeah." Tug answered nodding.

Jake looked down at the blonde. He didn't take him for a wrestling fan. "Well that's an… odd request. You never mentioned anything about wrestling before. Grunt has, but not you."

Tug shrugged. "Well, I'm not some huge mega fan or anything, but I do keep up with it. I just thought it would be cool for us to order the next pay per view. I could pitch in if you need." Jake narrowed his eyes at him. "We could even invite the ghouls-" That's what he was waiting for.

"Okay, what's going on?" Jake asked. "You never gave a crap about getting the groups together before. When I first got here, you were probably the one who was most against getting closer to the girls. After the game you stopped arguing. That was weird, but I wasn't complaining. And now you want to invite them over to watch wrestling?"

Tug scowled. "What?! You're the one who said we should be trying to get along. Now that I'm actually trying you get all suspicious. What's your deal?"

Jake laughed. "Oh, don't try and turn this around on me. You're up to something. Did you and the vampire finally hook up? Is that it? You trying to spend more time with her?"

Tug couldn't keep the blush off his face. "You… I… so what if I am?"

Jake stared at him blankly, but then grew a smirk. "I knew it." He said teasingly. Tug scowled as Jake put his arm around his shoulder. "So what did you do to win her over huh? Did it have something to do with the dodge ball game? Or maybe the dance class. I saw how surprised you were when she danced with Miguel."

Now, Jake knowing about him and Sibella wouldn't be that bad. The worst that he'd have to endure was a bit of teasing, which was embarrassing but bearable. But he couldn't have him telling the others about it quite yet. So for now he'd just admit to having a crush. Jake would have the decency not to tease him about it in front of the others.

Besides, it wasn't like that was a lie. He technically still did have a crush on her. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. So I like her. And this whole pay per view event thing is just the only thing I could think of to get the others over. It's not like there's much else going on around here."

"I guess… I can't think of anything else to do either. May not be the ideal thing for trying to cozy up with her, but it'll get her and the ghouls over here." He said. "I'll go over and ask Ms. Grimwood about it later." He said as he turned to walk off. "As long as you're up go make some breakfast for the house."

When Jake had finally gotten out of earshot, Sibella stepped out from the shadows behind him. "Well, that certainly went better than expected. I was quite sure he'd ask more questions about this whole plan. He seemed very observant. I thought he may have caught on, and that I'd have to hypnotize him." She said.

"Don't go hypnotizing anyone." He said sternly. Sibella just shrugged and giggled. Tug looked back after Jake. "I thought he might too. But I guess he doesn't feel like prying. Which is good, because getting teased about having a girlfriend is way worst that getting teased about a crush."

Sibella stood in front of him and smirked. "Really? Is that how you see it? Surely having a girlfriend must have some advantages over a mere crush."

Tug shrugged. "Nah. Having a girlfriend is way too much work. There annoying and needy, and they always have to end up talking at the worst time." Sibella rolled her eyes and playfully slapped his arms. "Alright, alright, they have some advantages."

Around the corner Jake leaned against the wall and smirked. Did they really think he couldn't catch on to them? They'd been acting weird ever since the dodgeball game, which had been a dead giveaway. When he saw a bat that just happened to be flying into Tug's room that had pretty much confirmed it.

Still, he wouldn't say anything, not for now anyway. Whatever this wrestling thing was about, he was sure that they'd tell him eventually. He'd probably figure it out before then anyway. "I can let the brats play their game a little longer I guess…"

"I can't believe it! We actually get to see it! This is going to be awesome!" Grunt said excitedly. Despite the fact that he had a chair, which the boys all had to bring from downstairs since Jake insisted the girls get to use the couch, he was standing up. He seemed too excited to even sit down. The pay per view was about to start, and he didn't want to miss a single second.

Then there was Elsa who was leaning forward tapping her foot eagerly. Jake could feel the room shake a bit. The boys didn't seem to notice it. Or maybe they were just use to it. "John Cena going for the U.S title, a fatal four way for the Intercontinental championship, and a cage match for the between Roman and Seamus for the WWE title!" She said.

"I know!" Grunt said holding up his hand. Elsa stood up and high fived him. "Who do you have winning the WWE title? I want Roman to retain, but I don't think he can pull it off with the League of Nations in Seamus Corner. Plus with Vince McMahan as the guest referee. The odds are stacked way against him."

Elsa nodded. "I still don't know though. Roman can always count on Ambrose and the Uso's to swoop in. And Cena has a feud with Del Rio, so he may be able to count on him too if things get really ugly." She said looking up in thought. The others looked at them with raised eyebrows. They were pretty much lost in this conversation, which was a first with these two.

Jake was somewhat following them. He hadn't watched Wrestling in a few years. "Hey can you pass the popcorn?" He asked looking towards Tanis. There was all types of junk food spread out on and around the couch. Popcorn, nachos, cookies, Jake had gone out and bought all of it for this. And Tanis, never seeing any of this food before, was eager to try every last bit of it.

She looked up, right in the middle of stuffing a cookie in her face. A shy smile spread across her face. "Wow, that's adorable." He said chuckling. Tanis passed him the popcorn as the show started. Two announcers introduced the competitors.

The show went on and they actually seemed to be enjoying it. Grunt and Elsa had to explain a few things to them of course, but it was entertaining to watch. Sibella was… less than impressed. But she didn't try to spoil it for the others either.

One of the wrestlers were climbing up a latter and trying to grab a suit case. "Yes! Yes! C'mon! Hurry up!" Grunt shouted. Right as the man got a hand on the suitcase, another guy came up and pushed the latter from under him. "NO!"

"Dang it! He was so close!" Elsa shouted.

Sibella crossed her arms. "I'm confused. Why are they trying to grab the suit case?"

Grunt didn't take his eyes off the screen. "It's got a contract inside. Whoever gets it can challenge the champion anytime, anywhere. He could be knocked out already, but if they have that contract, they get a match." He explained.

"I see…" Sibella didn't understand much of this, but the concept of a challenger against a champion was fairly familiar with her. These rules seemed a bit similar to how the monster world worked. She reached down to grab a bottle of water, but then noticed they were gone. There was nothing but soda left.

While she was capable of drinking the fizzy beverage, she didn't exactly like it. "I'll get you some water." Tug said standing up. "You can drink that, right? I mean as long as it's not holy water you should be good." He joked.

"Very funny Roper." She said smirking and rolling her eyes.

Jake smiled. "Well Tug, that's awfully chivalrous of you. Looks like some of my gentlemanly ways are starting to rub off on you. You lot may have hope yet."

Tug waved him off as he made his way into the kitchen. The others didn't really take notice of what had just happened. Under normal circumstances Tug being nice to Sibella in any way would have been suspicious. But they were too wrapped up in either the show of the food.

Someone however did notice. "I'll be right back." Winnie said. She got up and followed Tug to the kitchen. The blonde haired boy poured a cup of water and was about to leave out, but Winnie stood before him. He stumbled back, nearly dropping the glass of water.

"Way to scare the crap out of me…" Tug said scowling.

Winnie narrowed her eyes at him. "What's going on between you and Sibella?" She asked. Tug kept the surprise from his face. He knew if anyone were to pick up on their secret, aside from Jake, then it'd be Winnie. He opened his mouth to answer, but she growled. "Don't tell me you don't know what I'm talking about." She warned.

Tug closed his mouth again. "You two haven't tried to tick each other off for god knows how long. When you do insult each other it doesn't have the usual bite to it. It's… friendly. It's like you two are flirting. Well, she always flirted, but now you're flirting back. What exactly are you…" Winnie's eyes widened as she started putting the pieces together. "Wait, don't tell me…"

Lying probably wouldn't work on her. But he didn't exactly want to come clean either. "We just… buried the hatchet… that's a human term-"

"I know what it means!" Winnie snapped. "And do you think I'm stupid? It makes totally sense now! I can't believe this. I knew she always liked teasing you but I didn't you two would actually… and she didn't even tell us!" Winnie growled. "That little…" She turned and headed out of the kitchen.

Tug cursed under his breath before reaching out and grabbing her wrist. Winnie flashed her teeth at him. Tug rolled his eyes. Like she was actually going to bite her. "First of all, please keep it down. Second, she wanted to tell you but I stopped her. I was just trying to find a way to break it to everyone without freaking them out."

Winnie narrowed her eyes at him. "Is this why you've been acting all buddy buddy? Trying to get everyone to play nice? So we wouldn't be mad when you broke the news?" She asked balling her fist up.

"Yes." He said bluntly.

Winnie ran her hand over her face. "You two… do you have any idea what this means?"

"That you're going to tell the others and chaos is going to break loose. That's pretty much par for the course with us isn't it?" He said shrugging his shoulders.

Winnie grabbed the front of his shirt. "This is not a joke Roper! Relationships between monsters isn't as fragile and fickle as it is between humans. Vampires in particular take it seriously. You have no idea what the implications of her being with you are."

Tug bit back the urge to make a joke about her knowing the word 'Implications'. "Look, we're dating. It's not that big a deal."

"Except it is! Has she marked you yet or…?" Winnie looked over him.

"Marked me? What are you talking about?"

After a quick look over, Winnie sighed in relief. "You haven't taken things too far yet at least." She said before going back to glaring. "Listen up Roper, I know you're not exactly up to date on how our culture works, but this is serious. You're opening a can of worms that you ain't ready for. If this is just some fling for you then-"

Tug scowled. "It's not a fling. I…" He looked down and blushed. "I like Sibella, okay." She looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "What? Is it that surprising?"

"Yeah." She said crossing her arms. "I mean… you admitted it. That's weird. I always figured you kind of like her, but I never thought I'd hear you say it."

"Well you did."

Winnie kept staring at him, but then ran her hands through her hair. "Uh, whatever. Look, I don't know what type of crazy thing you two have going, but just… don't hurt Sibella. Rules or not, if you hurt her, I hurt you. And keep me out of whatever crazy plans you two are cooking up." She warned.

With that she turned and headed back to the living room. Tug looked after her. This was going to make things even more complicated. He was going to have to break the news soon so this didn't blow up in his face. He picked up the glass of water and walked back into the living room.

"YES!" Grunt and Elsa both jumped up and chest bumped.

Tug looked to the TV and saw some guy standing on the top of the latter and holding up a golden suitcase. He walked over and handed Sibella the glass of water. "Having fun?" He asked.

She shrugged. "This is obviously fake, and even if it wasn't, humans can only put up so much of a fight… but it is slightly entertaining to see them flip through the air and such." She said. "So, Winnie has found us out hmm?" She asked. Tug looked at her surprised. "Did you think I couldn't hear you from the kitchen? My ears aren't as sharp as Winnie's, but I am a vampire."

Tug smirked. "Yeah, you are. Speaking of which, what the heck was she talking about with these monster rules? What's going on?" He asked.

She sighed. "I'll explain things later, I promise."

After the show had been over, Jake walked the ghouls back to Ms. Grimwood's. The boys surprisingly didn't give their usual complaining about having to spend time with the ghouls. It seemed they were finally getting used to spending time with them. Or at least they were finally going to stop complaining about it.

Everyone was starting to get along, or at least be civil. Baxter, Tanis, and Winnie already knew, and their reactions were all better than he expected. Maybe it was about time to tell the others about him and Sibella.

"You look like you're deep in thought Roper. That's dangerous." He glanced over and saw her sitting on the balcony.

"Me thinking is better than you scheming." He said getting up from his bed. He walked over towards her and crossed his arms. "Now, why don't we talk about this whole monster thing? I for one don't want to end up dying by the hands of daddy Dracula because I did something seemingly simple and broke some monster code."

She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "I apologize for not alerting you to this sooner. I suppose I just kept getting caught up in other things." She said. "Courting between humans and monsters is different, and I doubt I can explain everything to you in one night, but I will go over the basics." She said. "Anything you'd like to know first?"

"Winnie said something about the 'Implications' about us being together. What's that about?"

She looked up into the air. "As you can probably guess, humans and monsters don't often end up courting one another. It's a bit more common in younger generations, but it's frowned upon by those who stick to the old traditions. My father is seen as one of the most influential monsters in the world. One of his daughters dating a human would be… controversial."

Tug nodded. So basically he was dating a rich girl, and daddy and his friend probably wouldn't like seeing her with a low class guy like him. "What about your dad? What will he think?"

"I'm not sure. He's never shown any outright hatred for humans, but he is a stickler for old traditions. He's always expected me or my sisters to find a male he could pass on his title too. He may not approve of us." She said bluntly. "Not that I care. I don't care much for his opinion on my love life, and I care even less for the old traditions."

Well, that was oddly comforting. But he still had questions. "Pass on the title?"

"The Dracula family, most noble families really, must be led by a male." She said rolling her eyes. "In the world of monsters, might makes right, and males are usually the stronger of their species. There are exceptions like ghost and mummies of course, but they're created, not born. And they don't carry the same strength or reputation as others like Werewolves or Vampires."

He nodded in understanding. "Okay then, what about this Marking thing?"

"Marking is a way of telling other monsters that your mate is off limits. It's can also be seen as a sign of… submission. Typically male monsters mark the females, but in rare cases it works the other way around. You are a human however, and can't mark anyone. I suppose I could mark you, but I thought you'd find it emasculating."

Tug scowled. "You're right, I would." From what it sounded like whoever did the marking wore the pants in the relationship. This whole act of submission thing rubbed him the wrong way. He wasn't about to submit to anyone. "Anything else?"

"Nothing we need to worry about now. There might be some concern down the road, but it's too far away to worry about now?" She said. "I'm not going to lie to you Roper. Our being together may rub some people the wrong way. Dangerous people. If you want to back out, I won't hold it against you."

He snorted. "What do you think I am? A coward. I dealt with you ghouls for years, I can deal with anything some old pissed off monsters throw at me." He said sternly.

Sibella smirked. "Such bravado. I do hope it's not an act."

He stepped forward and grabbed her hand. "I'm not leaving." He said determined. She looked at him slightly surprised. "You know me. I'm too stubborn to give up on anything. I'm definitely not going to give up on having a hot girlfriend. Let the old geezers get mad. Screw that noise."

She smiled back at him. "Hmm, who would have taken you for such a romantic?"

A/N: Hey guys, sorry this took so long. Writers block, school/work, other stories the usual. I'm updating this from my phone now, so I can't leave a proper A/N. I'll get to it later. I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter!

Edit: Alright guys! I got some more free time, so here's a more in depth Author's note. Now, I know that you guys were probably expecting more Grunt and Elsa in this chapter, but I just couldn't see them bonding like the others, because(in my story anyway) they don't really have any animosity between them to begin with. There will be some fluff between them later on.

And Tug and Sibella are getting even closer, and are close to letting the others in. Looks like things are going according to plan... like I'm gonna let that happen!
