Beca was certain she was in hell. Her head was pounding, her entire body ached as if a truck hit her full on, and the sunlight burned so bright that it irritated her even with her eyes still closed.

Her fist slammed against the shrilling alarm clock and she sat up slowly, feeling her head throb with every small movement. She opened her eyes, squinting at first to adjust to the sunlight that flooded through the open curtains and glanced at the clock.

12:34 it read.

Oh. Beca realized she wasn't in hell.

She was hungover.

"Shit…" She mumbled to herself, knowing she was probably in huge trouble with her girlfriend. Chloe was generally a very easy going and understanding person when it came to Beca's bad habits. Whenever Beca forgot to put the cap back on the toothpaste or when she changed the toilet paper rolls and puts it on upside down, Chloe would always roll her eyes with a small smile and fix it.

But Chloe had two rules that were to never be broken.

One: Never use her special shampoo. (Apparently it was imported from Brazil and made especially for red hair)

And two: Never come home drunk.

Usually when Beca went out with plans to get plastered, she would spend the night at Amy's or the other Bellas but last night must have been an exception. She wracked her brain for any memories past the first three tequila shots she shared with Cynthia Rose and the gang but came up with nothing.

She rolled her body off the bed and trudged to the living room, preparing herself for a very angry Chloe but instead found Fat Amy lounging on the couch with a bowl of cereal.

"Well look who finally decided to get up. You look like shit."

Beca stuck out her tongue. "Where's Chloe?" She was surprised (and secretly very relieved) that it seemed like her girlfriend wasn't home at the moment.

"Red went to the gym with Aubrey." Amy said with a mouth full of frosted flakes. "She left you a note on the table."

Beca stepped into the kitchen and saw the folded piece of paper next to a small bottle of her favorite apple juice and two aspirins. She reluctantly unfolded the note.

Good morning baby!

Make sure you take your aspirin! I even bought your favorite juice to go with it. I'll be back later with some lunch so don't pig out too much with Amy.

I love you

The brunette read the note again with disbelief. This wasn't like Chloe at all. The last time Beca had come home drunk, Chloe locked her out of the house for three days.

"Hey Amy?" Beca asked as she went back into the living room. "Did Chloe happen to say anything to you about last night?" She figured Amy would at least know something since she was familiar with Chloe's two rules.

"Oh yeah, she mentioned something about how she was trying to change your clothes and get you ready for bed while you were still a babbling drunk."

Beca winced. "And?"

"And you were so wasted that you had no idea who she was and tried to stop her from undressing you and kept saying "stop, I have a girlfriend" before completely passing out."

A smile slowly formed on Beca's lips. "Oh."
