AN: I just want to be able to put complete on this story so this is going to be like the end chapter. It's annoying to see that I've got incomplete ones that I don't think that I'm going to go anywhere with. So there's going to be another time jump and...yeah read and find out lol.

***5 Years Later***

They never found out who shot Marie, but she recovered quickly. They never found a cure either, but eventually the amount of walkers depleted. There weren't any around anymore. More survivors were found and together, they cleared out a large area. But, Daryl being Daryl ended up finding a house way out in the woods with a fence all the way around it where they could live safely. He, Marie, the twins, and Gavin were all happy there, but they weren't foolish, they all had gun training and crossbow training. If the dead rose again, they would be ready for it. The whole family.

This day started like most of the others had. Daryl woke up frist from the light of the sun. Marie was beside him. She had aged well, even though she was in her later thirties now, she didn't look much older than when he had met her. Usually, after he woke up, it only took her a few moments. He wasn't sure why that was, but it just tended to happen.

"Mommy! Daddy! Time to get up!" Airy came running in and she jumped up on the bed. Parker followed behind her.

"How are my babies?" Marie opened her eyes and smiled at them. "What's up?"

"Daddy said we were goin' huntin' today," Parker exclaimed.

"Oh yeah, he did say that, didn't he?" she looked over at Daryl and smiled.

"Can we leave now?" Airy asked, eager to get out there and learn.

"Gimme a few minutes. Go on an' get changed."

"Come on Airy," Parker urged. The two ran off and Marie continued to grin at Daryl.

"Those two in the woods, that's going to be fun."

"It won' be bad," he shrugged. "Taught Gavin when he was younger. 'Sides they can already shoot."

"Yeah, that's a good point."

"What're ya an' Gavin gonna do?"

"Um I haven't decided yet. We'll do something fun though." Marie was satisfied with how things turned out and she would be happy to just live out the rest of her life with Daryl and her children. In a way, the zombie apocalypse gave both her and Daryl a better life than they were living. It resulted in a family for a two of them and it was the best possible ending. A happy one.

AN: I'm not too proud of this but it took me like two hours to just come up with this. I hope this is acceptable. Thank you all who have taken the time to read my writing and I wish that I could do better for you all. I know what it's like to spend hours and hours reading something or to wait for it to be updated. Sorry again, but I do have other stories that I am currently working on. Bye guys.
