A.N hey guys I'm sorry for the wait but I promise it was worth it because I love this chapter and I hope you like it as much as I do!

"There are three days left of the political meeting and we cannot afford to mess this up." Yuri stated, anger oozing from his every word, as he stood in front of his desk in his office. His serious face contrasted by the fact that he was only wearing his pajama bottoms and looking incredibly out of place at that exact moment. "This is an incredibly important event and I'm hoping to make it an annual event if all goes well. This event needs to succeed."

"I understand that your majesty but-"

"But what Gwendal? I have told you not to engage with that man and not to fight with him multiple times. So please explain to me why I woke up this morning to news about you dueling him in the courtyard?" Yuri demanded, his voice never actually rising in volume as he spoke. His arms crossed as he glared up at the older man.

Gwendal flinched at his tone of voice, the king was rarely ever this angry with him. He was about to explain his actions when Wolfram burst into the room still half naked as he put his arm through his sleeve and tried to button up his shirt. Instantly making Yuri aware of his own state of undress.

"Yuri it wasn't his fault. Father was practically asking for it!" Wolfram intervened. Trying to stop his fiancés anger before he went to far.

"I don't doubt that Wolf. That's not the issue. I've wanted to throw the man out the window all week but we're in a tough spot right now. We can't just act as we please. We need to show some discretion." Yuri argued back. It was ironic that he of all people was lecturing Gwendal about discretion. Who knew it only took one man to turn all of covenant castle on its head. It was like everyone was in another universe where their personalities were backwards.

"But he was defending Conrad and his hand in helping you become the king! Brother has a right to defend his siblings and his king!" Wolfram protested.

"Wolf." Yuri began only to be interrupted again.

"I'm sorry your majesty. I know that what I was about to do was wrong. I will accept any punishment you think appropriate." Gwendal stated.

"Brother what are you saying!" Wolf shouted.

"You brothers are so over dramatic. I'm not dealing out punishments." Yuri stated with a sigh before approaching his green clad advisor. He reached over, settling his hand on his arm in comfort. His usual soft smile once again reaching his face. "Gwendal I know it's hard but I need you to wait until the guests leave in three days. Once their gone the 10 aristocrats still need to stay here for court. You can do whatever you want with him then. Duel it out, have a dance off, hell you can challenge him to sumo wrestle if you want. I won't stop you. But you have to wait. Is that alright?" Yuri asked, this was the only ultimatum he could give him.

Gwendal smirked, his mind instantly planning what would happen in three days time. "Yes your majesty."

"Alright, now let's change and-"

"Your majesty! We have an emergency! Lord Von Bielefelt has instigated a duel with Lady von Karbelnikoff over Lord von Voltaire honour!" Yozak shouted as he ran into the room.

"What?" All three men shouted before running out of the room and following after the redheaded spy, pajamas be damned.

"How did this happen Yozak?" Yuri asked as he ran out of the hallways and to the back of the castle.

"I'm not exactly sure Sire! One second I was telling the soldiers to keep a closer eye on him and the next thing I heard was shouting and screaming. I came to get you right away after that." He explained as the approached the gardens that were now becoming a battleground.

Just as the duel came into sight Yuri's eyes widened and he had to stop him self from groaning in frustration. Not only were they now dueling in the gardens but a huge group had also gathered to watch them.

"Oh Yuu-chan! Good timing I think there's going to be a fencing competition! Can I sign up as well?" Miko asked happily but stopped for a moment as she took in her son's appearance and began to blush. "Oh sweetie I know you're a king here but I don't like the idea of you running around half naked! As your mother I must disapprove of this! What if you caught a cold?" She asked turned her back towards the group of people who had gathered around the fighting aristocrats and concentrating on her son.

Yuri didn't resist this time from letting out a groan, he'd completely forgotten about his clothes, this would only ever happen to him after all.

"Mom I need you to stand back. Is dad here too?" As he asked his father turned to him from the front of the crowd and waved back at him. He, like all the other spectators was incredibly excited, and completely believed that this was all part of a show.

He sighed, shaking his head over everything that was going on in front of him. He looked up as his dad waded his way through the group and towards them. "Yuri we were wondering when you would get here. This is all so exciting! But isn't there a better place to have this type of thing like a stadium or something? And where are your clothes?" He asked in quick succession.

Yuri shook his head ignoring the questions and turned to Wolfram, Gwendal and Yozak.

"This is out of control and it needs to be stopped. Now." Yuri stated, his voice deepening, as he grew more and more agitated and more and more cold, seeing as the wind was now picking up. "And Yozak could you please send a soldier to get me some clothes this is ridiculous." He mentioned as an after thought.

"Yes sir!" Yozak saluted with a smirk on his face before running off. He always enjoyed it when things went to hell in a hand basket.

Yuri's parents watched in surprise as he turned towards the crowd and made his presence known. The crowd quickly noticed him and began separating and allowing him to make his way through to the front. Everyone else, including his parents followed quickly after him.

His eyes narrowed as he reached the front of the circle where Samuel and Anissina were clashing swords, neither of them noticing his arrival.

"Oh your majesty! What great timing I think my sisters finally about to put von Bielefelt in his place." The red headed lord of Karbelnikoff bragged proudly.

"Don't underestimate my brother Karbelnikoff." Waltrana added in next to him. "He is a hard one to pin dow- your majesty! What on earth are you wearing? This is exactly what I mean when I say that you have absolutely no understanding of our ways and-"

"Oh for goodness sake hush Bielefelt! Honestly speaking your majesty I've got my bet on Anissina! She's fighting for love after all and that's the most important thing there is! Plus we fought often as children and I know for a fact that she really does pack a punch." Lord Von Wincott added happily.

Yuri stared at the duel before him and raised his hand to the side of him, instantly stopping the conversation.

"Well I'm glad to see that at least all of you are enjoying the show." He said as he finally pried his eyes away from the duel and turned to stare at the men, his lips stretched in a forced smile that was now putting all of them on edge. Instantly all of them began to look ashamed of themselves.

"Your majesty you shouldn't blame them. They did try to stop the duel. We all did but there was nothing we could do." Lady Rochefort added as she approached the king from another section of the group. Coming to the aid of her fellow aristocrats.

"I'm sure some of you did and I have a fairly good idea of who it was that was also doing more instigating then helping." Yuri added as he surveyed the group. It seemed most of the people were unaware of what was really going on. Bringing a stop to the fight now would probably cause more problems and bring up more questions then if they just allowed the two duelers to finish.

"And what exactly are you trying to imply your majesty?" Waltrana demanded.

"That if this strange occurrence continues to repeat itself in my castle I will have no choice but to take whatever is causing the issue and remove it." Yuri stated firmly, Wolfram's eyes widened behind him, surprised at the king's actions. He was reaching the end of his patience and that couldn't end well.

"Excuse me!?" Waltrana demanded.

"Uncle for Shinou's sake please don't argue! It's bad enough that father is dueling with Anissina. I don't want to watch my fiancé duel with my uncle next!" Wolfram intervened before Yuri could say something, hoping he could at least guilt both of them into behaving themselves.

"Father? Wolfie is that your dad? Oh wow you don't look alike at all." Miko added, her sight focused on the duel.

"I have to agree with you on that one darling. Wolfram you defiantly take after your mother." Shoma added.

"Mom, dad please, now is not the time-"

"Mom? Dad? These are your parents?" Waltrana asked.

"Oh yes, you haven't met them yet since you skipped dinner last night Waltrana." Lady Rochefort explained. "We have all already been aquatinted, though I would like to learn more about you. Especially since the king speaks of you so often." She added happily.

"Oh yes we should have tea! I would love to learn more about you and this whole kingdom as well!" Miko added quickly before turning back to the fight. "Yuu-chan you haven't told me if there's any way for me to join!"

"Yuu-chan?" Lord Von Wincott asked.

"Don't ask." Yuri replied. "Now, how exactly did this happen?" He asked as he watched the two adults slash and slash at each other with their swords. "What could they possible have to fight about? And what's this I heard about Gwendal's honour?"

"Well it was for Gwendal's honour your majesty." Lord Von Karbelnikoff explained.

"For my honour?" Gwendal demanded. "What the hell are you talking about? Why would they be fighting over me?"

"Well Samuel was unimpressed when your duel ended prematurely. Anissina had heard what had happen and came outside after you had already left. She came just in time to hear Samuel make some type of comment about your character. She instantly defended you and insulted him in the process. Then he either called you her whore or the other way around, I didn't quite catch that part. And then she demanded that he retract such a statement. He refused, stating that it was the truth and she could not prove otherwise. She then grabbed a sword from a soldier and challenged him. And now they're fighting." Lord Von Karbelnikoff explained enthusiastically and then cheered as Anissina got a good move in.

"Just to clarify Gwendal, he defiantly called you the whore." Lady Rochefort added.

"Of course he did. And this was just what else I needed in my life." Yuri mumbled to himself.

"Your majesty." Conrad appeared behind him. "I heard what happened and came right away. I also brought you a jacket." He added, already unfolding it and giving it to his king to wear.

"It's Yuri. And Thank you Conrad, now what do we do about this." He added as he slipped on the black jacket, not bothering to button it up.

"I can't believe she did this. I don't need to be defended in such a manner! It's unnecessary." Gwendal stated with exasperation.

"She does this out of love brother. You should know that." Conrad replied.

"I agree, if I were in her position I would do the same for Wolfram." Yuri added.

"Yes and I for you Yuri." Wolfram agreed instantly.

"Yes, we get it. Would you like me to spread the news of this newly found love of yours across the kingdom?" Waltrana asked, his voice laced thickly with sarcasm.

"Let it go uncle!" Wolfram demanded.

"I second that." Yuri added.

"Yes well Anissina is not my fiancé! This has nothing to do with-"

"IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO KARBELNIKOFF?!" Samuel demanded, grabbing the attention. "LOOK, YOUR TRAMP EVEN CAME TO WATCH YOU LOSE THIS BATTLE."

"YOU HAVE GONE TO FAR SAMUAL AND TODAY I WILL PUT YOU IN YOUR PLACE!" The infuriated inventor shouted back.

"OH IS THAT SO?" he asked before once again drawing his sword and attacking her at full force. They quickly resumed their battle but this time they did so with a greater vigor and intensity, slashing and fighting as if they were in the battlefield rather than in the back gardens of covenant castle.

Everyone stood silent in shock as Anissina slashed rapidly with her blade, striking Samuels sword out of his hand and pining him to the ground, her own sword, inches from his head.

Instantly the cowed broke into cheers, happy to see her win the battle over him.

Anissina smirked down at the blond before standing back up, her head held high with pride.

She smiled at her audience and bowed happily before them, causing them to cheer even louder then before.

"Well it looks like love won this battle." Lord Von Wincott added.

Samuel scoffed at what the blue haired man said before slowly standing up. "Don't get cocky, I let you win."

"Only a true warrior can take defeat humbly Bielefelt." Lady von Karbelnikoff added distastefully.

"Are you saying I'm not a true warrior?" Samuel began to argue.

"I'm saying that you wouldn't know a true warrior if one hit you on the head." Lady von Karbelnikoff retorted.

"Why you-"

"That is enough Lord Von Bielefelt." Yuri stated approaching the two in the middle of the group. "It was a valiant fight, you put in a good effort, you should be proud. Lady Von Karbelnikoff is not an easy opponent."

"I let her win." He restated.

"No you didn't! She fought for her love and did so with pride." Lord Von Wincott argued.

"She did no such thing. She and that man are incapable of anything but stupidity, never mind love." He shot back.

"Lord Von Bielefelt!" Yuri shouted in warning.

"This is insane. I don't understand why the two of you are fighting!" Gwendal exclaimed but his shouting fell on deaf ears.

"Lord Von Bielefelt you have never loved anything in your life how would you know about such a thing." Anissina defended.

"Lady Von Karbelnikoff you are an unmarried woman. Are you admitting to an affair between you and Lord von Voltaire? Such a thing would be in excusable." Waltrana added from the sidelines.

"What! No!" "Why are you jealous?" Gwendal and Anissina both shouted in that order.

"Anissina stop this at once there's no need to fight with him." Gwendal shouted.

"And what would you have me do? Ignore the stupidity he spews with his every word? I will do no such thing!" She retorted, she would stand her ground on this, no matter the cost.

"Then ready your sword Karbelnikoff, I demand a rematch!" The blond shouted, his sword ready to go, Anissina was not far behind.

"Damn it what in the world are you two thinking. Anissina why are you doing this?" Gwendal shouted.

"Because I love you, you oaf!" Anissina shouted, momentarily dropping her stance and turning back to the proud grey haired demon and shocking him into silence. "I always have!" She shouted, her arms rising in exasperation after finally shouting her feelings to him and half the castles current inhabitants. Silence settles over the once unruly crowd and though the words of admission really had taken everyone's breath away and not just Gwendal's.

"And I will always fight for you." She finally added turning back to her enemy and stared him dead in the eyes, ready to once again fight for what she believed.

"You are unmarried and yet you fight for this love of yours?" Waltrana asked.

"Of course I do." She didn't have to think it over twice. She knew it was the truth.

"So you love me?" Gwendal asked as his voice returned to him once again.

"Yes Gwendal, I do… I always have." Gwendal waited for her to meet his gaze but she wouldn't turn back to him, finally he gave up and walked in-between the two fighters and stood in front of his best friend.

"You never said anything?" . He asked

"It was implied." She replied confidently.

"That makes no senc-"

Gwendal's eyes widened as he felt Anisina's right hand collide with his cheek. Anissina smirked as the man met her gaze.

"Well Gwendal? What do you say?"

Gwendal stared down at the woman and smiled softly before turning his other cheek and accepting her proposal and then reached down and pulled her against him in a hug. She smiled and held him tightly before reaching up and meeting him for a kiss.

"Oh my! Yuu-chan why did she just slap him! Oh and now they're kissing?" Miko exclaimed.

"Jenifer, slapping someone across the cheek in the great demon kingdom is a way to propose marriage." Conrad explained.

"Well that's a weird custom. Hey wait is that how you proposed to Wolfram Yuu-chan?" Sohma asked.

"Yes father it is, and in order to prove his seriousness he then also defeated me in a duel." Wolfram explained, his use of the word father catching both Samuels and Waltrana's attention.

"And it was unacceptable for him to do so." Waltrana added.

"Uncle, I understand the value you put into tradition but this is ridiculous." Wolfram replied.

"It is not! Lady Anissina what are you doing! This is a severe breach of protocol! You can't propose to a member of the 10 aristocrats without permission." Waltrana shouted.

"Lord Von Bielefelt if it's permission they need that it's permission they will have." Yuri interrupted.

"Your majesty?" "Sire?" Gwendal and Anissina both asked as they separated from their embrace.

"Lady Anissina Von Karbelnikoff do you wish to spend the rest of your life with this man?" Yuri asked. Extending his hand to Anissina so she place her hand in his.

"Yes your majesty." She stated with confidence.

"Lord Gwendal von Voltaire do you wish to spend the rest of your life with the woman?" Yuri asked extending his other hand for Gwendal to take.

"Of course your majesty." He agreed also giving Yuri his hand as well.

"Well then! With that I pronounce you engaged!" Yurt exclaimed, his smile reaching from ear to ear as he united their hands together and poured his magic into their hands making their joined hands shine blue. "May your union be happy so long as you live! " He stated, causing the crowd to cheer in excitement. "And I, as your king, will oversee this marriage myself!"

"Your majesty, I'm grateful for this but what are you doing?" Gwendal whispered.

"Quiet. You two have done enough for today. Now help me disperse this crowd, we will deal with your wedding planning later. And FYI you'll be the one who'll be breaking the news to lady Celi." Yuri stated before smiling out into the crowd and shouting as loudly as he could. "Now that we have all had lots of excitement for the morning let's all head inside for breakfast! After all it would be a waste for the food to grow cold." He shouted and finally the crowd relaxed and dispersed.

"Yuu-chan that was brilliant!" Miko exclaimed as she approached the new couple and her son.

"I don't understand what you could have possibly found brilliant about it." Samuel replied bitterly.

"Brilliant or not I'm equally unimpressed with all of you. Samuel, you seem to enjoy taking part in duels don't you. Let me make myself clear. If you take part in any more duels in my castle, your next one will be with me. Is that understood?" Yuri asked, his voice heavy with irritation. Samuels's eyes widened, but he didn't allow himself to speak. "Samuel von Bielefelt! Answer me." Yuri stated his eyes glaring straight into the blonds.

"Yes your majesty." He mumbled.

"Good. Now let's go I'm starving." He stated before turning back to the castle and leaving without a look back.

A.N I hope you enjoyed it and please tell me what you think!
