He adjusted the three-strip optic visor around his head and cleared his throat. It had been more than a decade since he was back in the academy and it wasn't as nerve-wrecking as he remembered it to be standing in front of one. He smirked to himself from the reminder that he was natural to teaching. The students in front of him hushed down and the day's lesson began.

When the bell rang and he quickly finished what he had to say, the students were eagerly running out of the building already. He sighed and smoothed his hair back into his looped ponytail. He felt a tug on the edge of his green jacket and he looked down to see a boy with a light green hood coat with dark grey attire underneath. Circular dark glasses stared up at him to indicate he was waiting for him.

"Father, let's go home since class is over."

"Hm, yeah let's go home, Shinichi. Your mother is waiting."

"How was first day of class, boys?" Kana smiled while setting up the table.

"It was fine since it was just the first day of class." Her son replied.

"Don't get too comfortable. Why? Because it will only get harder from now on."

"I don't think I'll have any trouble since I'm being taught by the best."

A toddler in her high chair blew a raspberry to silence them and Kana laughed while wiping the ketchup off her face, "I think Kaya has had enough of your bickering."

"It's not bickering mom since it's just a discussion of our day." Shinichi retaliated. He took off his glasses to reveal his sharp golden eyes and quickly wiped it before replacing them back on his face.

The toddler's dark eyes squinted at her brother and opened her arms at her father to ask him to carry her. Shino got up from his seat and picked her up to only have the consequence of her pulling on his tied hair.

Kana let out another giggle and kissed her husband's cheek, "C'mon, the kids need to get washed up now."

He stared after her when she left for the hallway with Shinichi's hand in hers. He glanced at Kaya and she only beamed and wrapped her small arms around his neck. He could only think to himself,

We sure make one heck of a family.

The End.

*sniff sniff* ;~; It's over.

I was grinning when I gave Shino's son his own way of reasoning things. Since Shino says, "Why? Because..." I figured a son would take a word up like "since." Makes sense doesn't it? Alas, the boy got the pretty eyes from his mother. Sigh~

I would like to thank you all for giving this story a chance and most importantly, Shino a chance. This was my first successful story and one that I really wanted to finish. It was fun writing it and I can only hope my next story for Gaara (first chapter is out now!) is just as good if not even better.

And to those that read and some that reviewed the MA chapter to this story in The Hidden Chapters, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Heheh.

I love you all and see you later! :3
