"Garrus. Garrus I want chocolate milk!" the six-year-old tugged on his hand. The Normandy crew was gathered in the mess hall around one of the tables playing poker. Vega chuckled.

"Hey Vakarian go get Lola her chocolate milk." The turian groaned and put his cards face down; he picked up Shepard, who had turned into a child by a prothean artifact on their last mission. She giggled and hugged him as he walked to the counter.

"I don't even know what this chocolate milk is, ow Shepard, sweetie don't pull on that." She gave a small gasp and planted noisy kisses on his uninjured mandible. Tali giggled.

"She's so cute like that." Javik sneered.

"Cute won't help save your people quarian. The artifacts effects should be ending in a couple of hours." Ash got up and walked to the fridge.

"Garrus that isn't milk, this is." She reached in past him and got out the milk and put the lemonade he had grabbed back in, she also got out the chocolate syrup and a spoon before setting it all on the counter.

"Thanks Ashley." She smiled.

"No problem Garrus, now just follow those directions there." She walked back to her seat and picked up her hand. The game resumed without him.

"You bosh'tet!" Tali yelled and threw her hand down childishly. "I need an emergency induction port." She walked away and towards the bar.

"Yay thank you Garrus!" Kate Shepard smiled and drank her chocolate milk. She giggled as he picked her up.

"No problem sweetheart." He nuzzled her purring.

"Get a room you two!" Vega laughed and he was punched by Ash.

"Shut up you idiot." The verbal insults towards everyone continued laughing. Kate yawned and Garrus walked to the elevator.

"I'm going to put her to bed." He pressed the button for her chambers and left the awkward and lovable crew of hers.

"Garrus?" They were curled up in her bed, well Garrus was, Shepard was busily crawling all over him.

"Yes Kate?" He pulled her into his arms and smiled.

"When I'm older I want a biiiiiiiiig wedding with all our friends and your family, and doves everywhere and and flowers and all white and I want the biggest dress and and." She yawned holding Garrus' hand in both of hers. "I wanna marry you and have eight kids no wait, ten kids." He chuckled and kissed her forehead.

"Anything you want." She smiled and curled up beneath his chin.

"I love you Garrus."

"I love you too Kate."
