I had really wanted to keep this story fluffy, but as what happens with writing, sometimes they take a different route and, even after a whole lot of edits from the dark route it had gone down at first, this one ended up still being a lot edgier than I had wanted. i've never personally been drunk or seen anyone drunk so I really can't tell if this is an accurate portrayal or not. Also, I certainly don't condone or encourage that kind of behavior. Also, I realize Jade doesn't seem very Jade-ish. I'm going from an angle that she's a lot sweeter with beck than anyone else. I hope you like it, but feel free to beat me up in the comments section if you hate it.
iParty with Victorious
The party was fun. Jade had been in a good mood all night despite Sikowitz having scared her twice. It had all been good, clean fun until a couple of Northridge girls had opened up a few bottles of vodka. It wasn't like Jade and Beck had never enjoyed a glass or two of liquor before, but it had always been at home, when they were alone. They weren't stupid enough to drink in such an uncontrolled situation.
Cat, Andre, and Robbie, and the iCarly crew had already gone to their restive homes or hotels. Beck and Jade were already on their way out when Beck decided he should use the bathroom. She was gone when he got back.
He should've known not to leave her alone, even if it was only supposed to be for a couple of minutes. When he couldn't find her after an hour, he got Tori, who was trying to find Trina so she could leave, to help him find her.
When they found her, she was dancing on a table and had a red solo cup in her hand. She didn't have a top on. There was a crowd of what Beck figured were Northridge girls and their boyfriends surrounding the table. Some of the were in equal states of undress sitting the chairs, heavy petting in their boyfriend's laps. Some the guys were cheering Jade on, encouraging her to remove her bra.
"Alright, alright, get going!" Beck shouted at the boys surrounding the table. Tori reached up and took Jade's hand, encouraging her to get down off the table.
Jade spoke up. "Tori!" she dragged out staggering, "Come up and have fun with me!"
Beck took control then. "No. Why don't you get off the table, Jade?" It wasn't a question.
Jade pouted. "Okay, okay, bossy. I'm coming down now." Jade took Tori's hand, pouting, and stepped onto the chair, then on the floor.
As she left the table, the boys started booing. Beck shot them all a nasty look which seemed to silence them and return their attentions to their respective girlfriends.
Jade stumbled a little on the way down, so Tori guided her into the chair. She shrugged off her jacket and gave it to the clearly drunk girl.
"I'll go find Sikowitz." Tori only made it two steps before Beck called her back.
"Are you kidding?" Beck seemed outraged, "If we get him, he'll be forced to call the cops. Not to mention, our parents. He'll get in trouble for being at a party with underage drinking. And we'll all be grounded for the next year. Plus, he's probably already gone. He'd seemed like he was about to leave when we all got out of the hot tub."
"Ok, well what do we do?" She glanced down at the drunk girl who dozed off in the chair and was snoring softly.
"Uhh," Beck stuttered, "why don't you go bring my car around, and I'll get her up and over to the front." Beck pulled out his keys.
"Yeah, umm, I don't have a license," Tori admitted.
"Really? I don't have the patience right now to respond to that, so just get her up and I'll bring the car around."
Beck stalked off towards the front of the house.
Tori looked down at Jade, trying to figure out how to get her up. She knelt down next to Jade's chair and tapped on her should lightly.
Jade opened one eye and peaked at the person disturbing her. "What do you want, Tori?" she slurred.
Frustrated, Tori rolled her eyes and helped Jade to her feet. Jade stumbled but didn't fall as Tori moved quickly and put one arm around Jade's shoulders and the other around her waist to support her.
"We'll go slow, okay?"
Jade nodded but stopped because that hurt her head.
Somehow, they managed to make it across the house to the front with minimal incidents, although Jade had begun to look quite green. As they walked down the steps on the porch, Jade dashed to the bushes and threw up.
Tori was right behind her, holding her hair. "At least you managed to get it out before you got in the car."
"Shut up, Tori," Jade snarked back.
Beck was leaning against his car having witnessed the whole ordeal. He took his girlfriend from Tori, and with her help, settled Jade in the back seat.
"Thanks for this, Tori," Beck said, then pulled her into a hug. When he released her, he asked if she needed a ride home.
"That'd be nice, thanks. Trina just texted me that she's back home."
Later, at Jade's mom's house after Beck dropped Tori off at her own home.
"Where are your parents, Jade?" Beck asked as he helped her up the stairs to her bedroom.
"Mom is at some conference in San Diego and little brother is with my dad and step-monster. I should probably be with them, but I'm drunk and really don't want to deal with that right now."
"Fair enough." Beck opened the door to her bedroom and Jade got right into bed and fell asleep on her stomach with all her jewelry and makeup still on. Beck decided it'd be better not to wake her and left her to sleep. He got a blanket from the closet and made up the couch to sleep on; he was uncomfortable getting into bed with her when she was drunk.
Beck woke to the smell of pancakes and bacon. Jade was setting a tray on the table as Beck wiped the sleep out of his eyes and sat up.
"Good morning," Beck said to Jade, "you're looking much better."
"Yeah, a glass of water and four ibuprofen later," Jade joked back sitting in his lap. Beck put his arms around her waist.
"But seriously, how are you feeling?"
"Better, much better. I had an awful headache when I woke up, but I'm feeling pretty good now," Jade said rubbing his arms.
"What time is it?" Beck inquired, thinking her hangover was pretty short.
"Nearly midday."
"Oh," he kissed her neck, "Do you wanna tell me what happened last night?"
"No."
"Jade."
She rolled her eyes and got out of his lap to face table. She started at the platter of food. Beck followed.
After she'd completed half a pancake, he asked again, "What happened last night?"
She shrugged, "After you left to go to the bathroom, this guy started passing around stuff in solo cups. I don't know, or don't remember, why I drank it, but within minutes I was feeling really weird. I don't really remember anything other than waking up here after that," Jade finished.
"Do you think someone drugged you?"
"Maybe, or just gave me something really strong that keeled me over faster than usual. Either way I really don't wanna talk about it any more."
"Okay," Beck said grabbing her hands. "I love you." She blushed uncharacteristically.
"Maybe let's not drink again like that? What do you say?"
"Okay," she smiled back, kissing him. "What did I do last night?"
Beck laughed, "I think I'll give you the benefit of the doubt."
"No really, what did I do?"
He only chuckled. She slapped him lightly in pretend outrage then climbed onto his lap and started tickling him.
"Tell me!"
"No!" He laughed and caught her hands.
He delivered a kiss to her nose. "I promise, you don't wanna know." She huffed, frustrated. "Let's finish our breakfast then go find something to do for the day, eh?"
She kissed him on the lips in response then turned back to her bacon.
