At long last the long awaited update...

Bunny, North, Sandy, and tooth all gather outside the meeting hall. They were waiting to be allowed back in after Manny had asked them to step out side while Jack, Mother Nature, and himself discussed matters.

After Bunny had taken care of Jack's injuries and had settled him in to get some rest. He had send a letter to the other Guardians calling for an urgent gathering the following day. He made it a point that there was nothing that could be done that night, and Jack was in need of some rest before the meeting. The last thing that either Jack or he needed was for the others to rush over weapons drawn.

Now here they sat waiting to be called back in. They could hear raised voices from the other side of the door. However that was all they could hear even for Bunny. The door blocked just enough that whatever was said could not be understood by whoever was on the other side. No matter how loud the voices were raised.

Bunny on the other hand could feel Jack's anger spilling over their bond. Jack was not bothering to try and control his tempter for once. Bunny already knew he was frustrated and angry by the situation. Leaving no reason for him to waste his energy trying to hide such emotions. Bunny ears laid back in bewilderment. He had never felt his mate so angry. Sure had seen and felt him upset and mad, but never had he experienced his mate's wrath until now. Even if he wasn't the one on the receiving end, he still felt bewildered by the sheer power and anger his mate was giving off.

Jack stood before Nature and Manny as they explained once more why the Guardians should remain in the dark about the situation.

"Enough of this," Jack shouted causing both beings to fall silent. Though they wouldn't show it the two were almost terrified by the amount of angry and energy the winter spirit was giving off "the time for secrets has passed. The others will be informed of the situation. I am done arguing this matter. You have asked me to keep this from them for far too long already. Against my better judgment I agreed, but not any more. When Bunny follow after me he unknowingly put himself in great danger. Had Marzanna attacked before he lost my trail there is no telling what would or could of happen. They are in no way prepared for this fight. She will not fight fair in respect to anyone. Soon Marzanna will no longer be content with just disrupting the order of things but instead will go after my family." Jack's voice was low and even though despite this the anger and frustration were well known by the two older spirits.

"Jack I understand your frustrations, but involving the other could potentially but them in more dangers than they are in now," Manny was the first to speak in a vain attempt to reason with the winter spirit.

"And just how is that," Jack snapped focusing all his anger on the celestial being.

"The more that the others know the more likely they are to put themselves in harms way in attempts to help," this was perhaps the last chance that either would have to reason with the winter spirit.

"Oh and the alternative is so much better," Jack spat "continuing to leave them in the dark is even more dangerous. By not informing them we are putting them in even more danger. They have never faced a threat like her. There is no doubt in my mind that she will change her focus to them. If for no other reason than to get to me. Given the chance she will try and kill them. She has already kill several spirits from every season. How many more will have to die until the two of you get your heads out of your asses and realize we are fighting a losing battle and need help." Jack spoke this time with a tone of voice that was even louder. Though whether it was his tone of voice or choice of words the two looked from Jack to each other knowing that the winter spirit was right. The time for secrets had passed the longer they delayed in bring the others into the loop the more danger

"Very well Jack, We will tell the others of what has been going on. However I want them kept from the fighting," Manny relented at last hoping still that he could still try and keep the other Guardians from the fighting still.

"You talk as if they will have a choice. If we have learned nothing from the past several months is that Marzanna doesn't care who she hurts. If she thinks it will benefit her in any way she will do it. Not only are we going to tell the others what has been going on, but they will be trained to fight her should the occasion arise." Jack's tone was defining and final. It was clear to both Nature and Manny that Jack had made the decision for them. They could try and continue the argument until they we blue in the face, but Jack had made up his mind. And further more had taken over where both the Guardians and Marzanna were concerned. Any further attempts would be made in vein, and potentially at their own risk.

With a slight nod of their heads as a sign of agreement and submission the doors leading to the hallway pulled open at Jack's request. All the while The two higher figures glanced at each other with certainty that things were only to go from bad to worse.

Author's Note:

I must thank everyone for their patients. This chapter has long been in the making. I never forgot about this story but it took a long time to figure out how to continue it. You will be seeing some rather dramatic changes in Jack and Bunny's relationship in the chapters to come along with those shared among the other guardians. I hope you enjoy what I have planned to come. After some recent events I have been forced to take a few steps back and find ways to relax. Lucky for you guys that lead me to returning to my stories. Until next time...
