ARROW

Dean writhed, back arching off the ground while he gripped his thigh and the arrow piercing it. He panted through clenched teeth. Bone-white knuckles matched the rim of white circling his mouth.

"Dean!" Sam dropped to his knees next to his brother. "How bad?"

"B-b-bad enough."

Sam glanced at the wound and swallowed hard. "You know I can't take it out, right?"

Dean dropped his head back to the ground with a heavy groan, rivulets of sweat trailing down his forehead. "I know. Shit!"

"We gotta get outta here."

Dean stilled. "This is gonna suck, isn't it?"

"I'm afraid so."
