Chapter 9:Dinner

"What is wrong with him?" Pansy asked as she looked down the table at Nico who was sitting alone eating dinner.

"What are you talking about?" Blaise asked, looking over at his friend who was sitting on the side of her.

"Di Angelo, he never talks to anyone, nor does he ever seen out of being in the time of eating meals." Pansy says as she wore a frown on her face which was evident.

"Why does it bother you, Pansy? It not like you are interested in him?" Draco says as he looked at her out of the corner of his eyes as when he saw the blush that was evident on her, he looked at her outraged. "You can't be serious, you're actually falling for that American?" He asked outraged as he pointed at Nico.

"It doesn't anyways." Pansy says as she rose to feet and began to walk away, she smiled at Nico as she walked by as Nico merely raised an eyebrow but shook his head before returning to his food. When he was done he got up and left the hall, he felt someone was staring at him so he glanced back to see that the head of his house was staring at him.

Nico let out a sigh before making his way out of the room. Nico walked over to a secluded part of the castle before shadow traveling outside in the dark force. Inhaling the cold night air as he heard animals scurrying around him as the moon shine through the thick tree branches.

Walking into a clearing, Nico saw an single dark oak tree sitting in the middle of the clearing. He walked out to the tree and placed a hand against the trunk before sitting down on the damp ground resting against the tree trunk.

Not long after Nico fell asleep against the tree.

"What do you think his family was visiting about mate?" Ron asked as he scarfed down some of the food in front of him as he looked at Harry out of the corner of his eye.

"I don't know seemed pretty nice." Harry said as he continued to eat his dinner.

"I found it a bit strange that they hardly knew where they were since ever wizard knows where Hogwarts is." Hermione stated. "As well there clothing seemed weird too."

"Clothing aside I don't think there was anything really that stood out about them" Harry tells her.

Nico groaned as he woke up, glancing upwards at the midnight sky as a chilly air ran through his robes. Slowly sitting up, Nico cracked his neck as he stood up and brushed away the dirt from his robes, before shadow traveling to the secret entrance into Hogwarts.

Carefully walking silently into Hogwarts not trying to gain notice of anyone who may be lingering at this hour. He made it to the flight of stairs that went down to Slytherin Dorms. As he was descending he felt someone watching him from afar. Taking one look back before turning back around and continued down the stair as he stepped down at the last stair. He smirked as he looked to the right where a figure was standing in the shadows before continuing to the common room.

Draco was sitting in the common room looking at the fireplace, when he let out a heavy sigh. When the portal door opened and he looked over in surprise as he saw Nico come into the room.

"What are you doing up?" Nico asked as he spotted the blonde who was sitting in front of the fireplace.

"I don't see how that is any of your concern." Draco says.

"Your right." Nico said as he started to the stairs but he glanced once at Draco. "But I advise you not do anything stupid."

Draco looked at him surprised as he glared at Nico who was already gone. He looked back at the knife that he had in his hand before placing it back in his robes and went to his own room to go to sleep.
