When Worlds Collide

Chapter 10

Hiccup's POV

Dad, Gobber and I have been looking for Trader Johann's boat for hours, with no luck. Finally, we called it a day and flew back to Berk, when we landed I saw my dad with a look of disappointment on his face.

''Not to worry, old friend, it'll arrive safely and in good time.'' I hear Gobber comfort my dad. What could dad be expecting that could bother him this much when it hasn't arrived on time?

Deciding to take matters into my own hands, I look to Toothless, ''Come on Bud, we're going on a little field trip.'' I say with determination.

Time skip

Dragon Academy

I was packing up some food into pouches attached to Toothless' saddle, ''Okeydokey, we'll start in the Waste islands and work our way back.'' I say to Toothless.

''Back from where?'' I hear Astrid ask, as she appeared out of nowhere with Stormfly. I could see Tsuna was walking into the Academy and was heading towards us, clearly having heard what Astrid had said.

''J-just a quick spin around the island.'' I try, keyword try, to lie.

Astrid and Tsuna walk towards me with incredulous looks, Astrid moves to Toothless' saddle, ''Uh-huh, quick spin? With enough food to feed Snotlout's entire family.'' she inquires, pulling the food out of the pouch.

''Did I hear my name?'' Snotlout calls out, while jogging to our direction, ''Oh, do I see a salmon?'' snatching the drink I packed, and started stuffing said salmon into his mouth. Tsuna cringed with disgust as she saw my cousin chew with his mouth wide open.

''If you must know-'' I start.

''And we must.'' Astrid said.

''I'm going to do something for my father.'' I say vaguely, as Snotlout swallows the mouthful of salmon he'd been chewing.

Noticing that the three in front of me weren't satisfied with my answer, I sigh, ''Oh God, okay. Trader Johann is bringing something to for him. Something important and he should have been here by now.'' I gave in.

''You're not trading this fish are you?'' Snotlout asks, unintelligently, ''Cause it's delicious.'' he drawls as Hookfang snatches the salmon out of his riders hand, then regurgitates it. Oh Gods, did he just eat that?

Astrid perks up a bit, ''When do we leave?'' she asks.

''I need to go alone. My dad will get suspicious if we all leave.'' I say to try and get them to stay behind.

Tsuna spoke up, ''Hiccup, I've not been here long, but I can already tell that the chances of any of the other trainers staying behind, is as likely as Astrid dating Snotlout. Sorry about that Astrid just making a point.''

Astrid shrugged, ''Don't worry, it was a good point.'' Those get on well. Maybe the plan to get Dagur and the Berserkers to leave, earned Tsuna Astrid's respect.

''Okay, fine, go get the others. Tsuna you stay here and- you're going to come with us aren't you?'' I instructed, turning to the brunette only to see her eyebrow rise in amusement as I say she should stay behind.

Time skip

Tsuna's POV

After Snotlout and Astrid gathered the other dragon trainers, we started the search. I was on Toothless behind Hiccup, mainly because the Night Fury didn't give me or Hiccup the choice. I could tell Hiccup was a bit peeved at having the company and was sulking a bit.

''Hiccup, aren't you always saying it's better we work as a team?'' Fishlegs mentioned, wobbling on Meatlug.

''Next time I say that just slap me in the face.'' he says.

I smirk, ''I'll do that right now if you want?'' looming my hand beside his cheek in 'preparation'.

''Or Ruffnut can do it.'' Tuffnut suggests, ''And she slaps like a guy, it's awesome. Watch.'' Ruff slaps her twins in the face, hard, which he seems to enjoy. Is he a masochist or something?

Astrid then calls out, ''Hey look!'' pointing downwards at something.

''I can't see anything through the tears.'' I hear Tuff state. I couldn't help but laugh.

Hiccup looked down towards where Astrid had been pointing and exclaimed, ''Is that Johann?!''

Snotlout made another unintelligent remark, then we headed down to the ocean and Toothless scooped up Johann unconscious body from some driftwood.

We flew a short distance then found a small island and place Johann on the ground. After he regained consciousness, he wouldn't stop chanting ''The fog. The fog'' over and over. I think he's a few peas short of a pod.

Finally Hiccup asked the traumatised man where his ship was, ''No idea. All I know is one minute I was sailing in a perfectly calm sea, the wind at my back…and the next thing I know my entire ship is pulled out from under me and I'm shark bait.'' was the calm then hysterical reply.

Hiccup ad Astrid look at each other, ''I don't understand.'' the auburn haired teen said.

''I do. I was three days late and tried to make up time. And I got too close.'' Johann snapped.

Fishlegs looked nervous, then asked, ''Too close to what?''

''Too close to…Breakneck Bog!'' he shouted. Breakneck Bog?

The teens echoed Johann, Tuff a bit out of time, ''What's Breakneck Bog?'' I ask.

''Many a ship has sailed into its waters. Few have returned.'' Fishlegs explained (?)

''My Grandfather told me it's pirates.'' Astrid added.

''That's ridiculous!'' Snotlout snapped, ''Everyone knows it's haunted by a fog monster.'' he said in a matter-of-act voice.

That got Fishlegs scared and Ruff and Tuff explained what the 'fog monster' doesn't to people. Johann didn't help as he confirmed what they had said, ''Yes it's true what he says. It-it surrounded me.''

''See fog monster. Pirates, hahaha, stupid Grandfather.'' Snotlout sniggered.

''Seriously? 'Fog monster'? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. There are higher chances it was dragons or pirates, than that.'' I scoff.

Hiccup walked to Johann and told we had to find his ship because of the item he had on it for his father, ''Yes, there was. But it wasn't for your father it was for you.'' the trader said.

That surprised Hiccup, and me, ''For me? From who?'' he asked.

''He didn't tell you?'' Johann wondered, ''It was from your mother.'' he revealed.

After that revelation, Hiccup adopted a confused expression, ''My mother?''

Astrid asked what the item was, to which Johann said he didn't know and that the item was in a chest with a Berk crest on it. Hiccup told Johann he had to take us to where he lost his ship, but that only caused the trader to panic and refuse. Hiccup settled for directions to place the ship was lost and told Snotlout to take the trader back to Berk with the twins, which wasn't received well.

Fishlegs asked what the rest of the group were going to do, ''We're going to Breakneck Bog, obviously.'' I state, which got the bulky Viking to quiver in fear.

Breakneck Bog

As we approached our destination, Fishlegs tried to convince Hiccup to go back by offer him something from his mother then offer to give him his mother. Wow that's insensitive. Then Astrid teased Fishlegs by scaring him. We circled the island, and then landed.

''I don't get it. We flew all around the island. No boat.'' Hiccup said.

Astrid spoke next, ''Not even the remains of a boat.''

''You know who would take a boat?'' Fishlegs inquired, ''A fog monster.'' Not this again.

There was a roar that came from the island, which caused the dragons to act up. After calming the winged reptiles down, we headed towards the woods of the island, to the dismay of Fishlegs.

Time skip

After walking for a while, we walked by a pile of bones then an anchor (?) nearly fell on Astrid. We finally found Johann's ship: up a tree.

''Wow, he really got off course.'' Hiccup joked.

''Fog monster.'' Fishlegs stated suddenly, looking at the ship with fear.

We flew up to the ship, but the dragons started back away in fear.

''They're afraid. And they're dragons, so we should ask ourselves, what are we doing?'' Fishlegs said.

''The ship won't hold them.'' I call out.

Hiccup nodded, ''We need to jump down and send the dragons to the ground.''

We jumped onto the boat and the dragons were sent to the ground. Hiccup then told us that we should find the chest so we could get out of here. Then, suddenly, a single bone fell from the sky, which was followed by a shower of them. What no way! Could fog monsters exist here? I think to myself, for once ignoring my HI due to the fright I got.

''Below deck!'' I hear Astrid shout, so we run below deck.

When we got there, we could hear the bones hit the deck above us, Hiccup tried to give a reasonable excuse but it only came across weird.

''Can we just find that chest and go, please?'' I suggest, still on edge.

As we searched, after a short while, I heard Fishlegs start to scream and headed towards him. He had found Hiccup, who had found the chest that we were searching for, the bulky teen looked hysterical.

''It's coming after us!'' Astrid yelled.

Hiccup pointed to a closet and we his in there and told, stupidly, not to breathe. Fear having taken over, and having lost all common sense, ''I just want you guys to know, even though I haven't known you long. You are the best friends I could even wish of having.'' I said, receiving ahh's from the Viking teens.

The door opened and we screamed. What I saw annoyed me, to be polite. Tuffnut was holding a skeleton arm and greeted us, Ruffnut and Snotlout were behind him with entertained looks on their faces.

''Need a hand.'' Tuffnut joked.

I saw red and tackled him to the ground, which caused him to drop the arm and proceeded to punch him in the face or torso, whatever I could hit, ''You jerk, I'm going to kill you!'' I look up and saw Ruff was close to the arm, ''Ruffnut hand me that arm!'' which she did and I started to hit Tuff's helmet with it.

''Do. You. EVER. Do. That. Again!'' I emphasise each word with a blow to his helmet, until I heard Hiccup tell me to stop but I gave one final blow for the sake of it. I turn to Ruff and Snotlout, and they backed away from me in fear, ''If either of you do something like this again, you'll end up like him.'' I point to Tuff, who was groaning.

''Wow, you hit like a guy too. Better than Ruffnut.'' I heard the moron say. That's a bit of a compliment, since he thinks I'm a girl.

Hiccup annoyed at the trio questioned them as to why they would scare us, ''They're getting revenge for having Trader Johann landed on them.'' I say.

Astrid looked at the necklace around Snotlout's neck and inquired as to how he got it. He told her and tried and failed to woo her by offering to get her one. Then as soon as he finished talking, the whole boat started to sway dangerously then proceeded to fall form the tree.

Shortly after we hit the ground, there was a strange noise then the place started to fill up with fog. Are those-

''Just so you know. This fog, not us.'' Snotlout reassured us.

When the fog dispelled, Astrid asked if we could leave but Hiccup noticed that the chest he had been holding was gone.

''Too bad so sad. See you back at Berk.'' Tuffnut said quickly, as he, his sister, Fishlegs and Snotlout run up to the deck.

I ran after them and reached the deck as they clamber over the side of the boat and mounted their dragons. Before I knew it I shouted, ''Toothless!'' and the Night Fury reacted the way I wanted. Strange.

The Night Fury roared at the other dragon, pupils dilated, and said dragons bucked their riders off their backs and started to hover out of their reach, to prevent the teens from mounting again. I jump down from the ship and stomp toward the teens on the ground, who were confused at their dragons behaviour, ''Oh no you don't. You don't get to do this, run away with your tails between your legs when things get scary. You are all dragon trainers, you more or less tame the world's most vicious creatures and the thing that you are running from is, in fact, THE VERY BEASTS YOU RIDE!'' I shout at them, then look at the dragons, ''No offense you guys.'' I apologise to them, which was accepted.

''Don't worrying we know what you meant.'' Toothless said.

''Now, back in that closet I said something pretty meaningful, 'even though I haven't known you long. You are the best friends I could even wish of having' but now I think I'll take that back if this is how you'd act in a situation I'd need you but things got scary so you bid farewell!'' they look away guilty, ''That chest had something that Hiccup's mother wanted him to have, and I can tell that she 'isn't with us anymore'. You Fishlegs were making offers on the way here that you'd give Hiccup your mum so you don't know what he's going through, and I think the same can be said for the rest of you. If you were in Hiccup's shoes and you asked him for help to get something that was from your mother but it was stole, he wouldn't run away and gave up when thing got hairy, he'd be a true friend and stay until the job was done!'' I continue my lecture, I didn't care that I was being cruel, I just wanted them to realise that they were being terrible 'friends'.

I heard Astrid and Hiccup jump down from the boat and walk up behind me, I turn around and do something that surprised everyone including me; I hugged the auburn haired teen, tightly.

''I'm staying to help you Hiccup.'' I say as I let him go, I could see the appreciation in his eyes, and just how much it meant to him. I turn to Astrid, ''Oh yeah, by the way, my speech didn't include you by the way. You stayed. So please don't think I was having a go at you.'' feeling a little guilty. However, much to my relief, the blond girl smiled at me.

''Don't worry about it. Besides these mutton-heads needed to be lectured anyway.'' she stated, pointing at the guilty looking 'mutton-heads', ''I got to say though, I didn't think you'd have any fire to your roar, you surprise me.'' she joked, referring of course to my 'fiery' speech and the beating I gave Tuffnut earlier, I think.

I grin, ''You aren't the only one. I'm surprising myself too.''

Time skip

After the guilt trip I gave the twins, Snotlout and Fishlegs, they agreed to help us find the chest. Hiccup recalled my outburst of 'the beasts you ride' bit and understood that I meant it was dragons that stole the chest. Luckily, I managed to dodge the 'how did you know?' question since the priority was to find the chest.

We had been flying for a while, then Astrid spotted the dragons shrouded with fog and we flew down to catch them. Unfortunately, the cluster divided into two and went separate directions. After a short, but nevertheless, annoying chase we landed on a gorge after losing both clusters, but not for long. The 'fog dragons' closed in around us, which caused the dragons to get agitated. Wait a minute.

Realising something, I got an idea and shouted out to the dragons, ''Guys, flap your wings and blow away the fog!'' which they did. Once the fog was gone, we could finally see the dragons that had previous been covered in, and they looked angry.

The twins were commenting on the dragons wondering what they could be, then, ''Smothering Smokebreath dragons.'' Fishlegs gasped out.

We turned to him in disbelief, ''What I read about them, I didn't think they actually existed.'' he excused, which got an outburst from Astrid.

Hiccup asked Fishlegs what he knows about the Smokebreaths and listed two things but trailed off since he had forgotten the last thing. The Smokebreaths then started to attack us, then Hiccup realised that we were outnumbered so he told us to retreat.

''If they are territorial that explains the aggressive behaviour, their nest must be near-by.'' I call out the group.

''We must get the metal back to the nest. We must make the nest bigger, and stronger.'' I heard a variety of voices say to one another. It must be the Smokebreaths. So their nest is made of metal. I should tell the others this, but what do I say when they ask how I know?

We flew up to an overlooking ledge and landed. Fishlegs asked why we were still here, ''The Smokebreaths have the chest. I think I've figured out what the last thing about them, that Fishlegs forgot.'' I state, once their attention was on me I continued, ''I think their nest is made out of metal. Think of, Johann is a trader so he must have had many different type of weapons and different metallic objects to trade. However the only metal object was the tacky necklace Snotlout is wearing and the crest on the chest. They were getting territorial just now so the nest must be close. So when you add everything together, they must be gathering all the metal objects they can get their claws on to strengthen their nest.'' I finish just as a cluster of the dragons in question flew above head and into a cave.

When I finish talking I hear Snotlout scoff, ''No way.'' he says with confidence.

''Actually, she's right. That is the last thing.'' Fishlegs announced. That got the mutton-head to shut up.

''Okay, that said. That cave must be the nest.'' Hiccup stated.

Astrid spoke up, ''Hiccup, I think we should move away and think of a plan. If those things come back, they'll attack for sure.'' she says. Hiccup nodded in agreement and told the others trainers to get on their dragon, then flew a few metres away from the nest.

A few minutes later

Hiccup and the others were brainstorming, when I left. I figured I'd be able to try and talk to the Smokebreaths, since I can understand them and vice versa. When I reached the nest, I stopped a safe distance from the mouth of the cave. Okay this could be stupid, but it's worth a shot.

''Hello.'' I call out, instantly the Smothering Smokebreaths flew out, not shrouded in fog funnily enough.

''What is it. It's a two legged flesh bag. What does it want? It must want to kill us. We shall not let that happen.'' I heard them talk amongst themselves.

''I don't mean you any harm.'' I reason.

''It lies!'' I hear one of them call out.

''I'm not lying. I just want to talk.'' I say.

The Smokebreaths look at me, wide eyed, ''You understand us, flesh bag?'' a Smokebreath in front of me asked.

I nod, ''Yes I do. And my name is Tsuna, not flesh bag.'' I introduce myself.

''What is it you wish to talk about…Tsuna?'' another one asked, they had all relaxed but some were ready to attack.

''You have something that belongs to a friend of mine.'' I state.

''What make it theirs? And what makes you think we have it?'' they demand.

''It was something his mother wanted him to have; it has the crest of his village on it. And I know you have it because I saw you take it from his arms in the boat.'' I say.

This got them thinking, ''Is the chest the small flesh bag with the metal foot had?'' one asked, I nod, ''It was something his mother wanted to give him?'' I nod again.

They start to hiss in a way that sounded like they were laughing, ''Well she should have given it to him herself. Not leave it in some flesh bag's boat! Yes she shouldn't have! It's ours now.'' several of them commented.

I snap at their comments, ''She couldn't give it to him herself, because she is dead, and has been since he was very young,'' that got them to stop laughing, ''And the 'flesh bag' that boat belongs to, was delivering that chest to her son!'' I shout at them.

''Dead since he was a hatchling? She entrusted another flesh bag to deliver her gift to her son? Must have been intended before her death.'' I heard the Smokebreaths converse amongst themselves, forgetting I could hear them. I didn't say anything else since I could hear guilt in their voices at what they had said.

I saw them nod at one another, the saw two of the small dragons fly off into the cave, ''We apologise for our insensitivity. Please take the chest back to your friend. Had we known about its importance we would have never have taken it. Please tell him we are sorry.'' the Smokebreath in front of me apologised, and the two that had flown into the cave had flown back out with the chest.

''Apology accepted. Thank you for understanding how much this chest means to him.'' I thank them.

''Of course, please make sure you return it to him safely, Tsuna.'' they all called out, as I turn to leave.

''I will, thanks again. Bye!'' I call over shoulder as I run off.

Back with the others

''Where did she go?!'' I hear Astrid call out.

''You don't think the Smothering Smokebreaths ate her, when she went to 'relieve' herself, do you?'' Snotlout wondered.

''Oh Gods, we have to find Tsuna and fast!'' Hiccup shouted to the others.

''If she were going to eat her, they probably carried her off to their nest so they were all fed.'' Fishlegs suggested.

''Okay, we're going to the nest now! The priority is to get her out of there, forget the chest! Tsuna's wellbeing is far more important!'' I hear Hiccup call out. I couldn't help but feel moved and flattered by what he said.

I picked up the pace and call out to them, ''Hey, guys! I'm alright, no need to start a war.'' I try and joke.

Hiccup stormed over to me and gripped my shoulders, tightly, with I grip I didn't think someone of his size could have, and shook me, ''WHERE THE HECK HAVE YOU BEEN?!'' he shouted in my face, 'When we finally had a plan we realised you had said a word, THEN DISCOVERED THE REASON FOR THAT WAS THE YOU WENT HERE!'' his grip tightened, if that was possible, and shook me some more, ''WE THOUGHT THE WORST HAD HAPPENED! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED I WAS?! HOW MUSH YOU SCARED ME JUST NOW?!'' he yelled some more, his voice cracked a little.

''Where in Helheim and Valhalla, did you go?'' he asked, quietly as relief entered his eyes and he…hugged me?! With a strength that almost crushed my ribs. Everyone was shocked by his display, but not as shock as me. How worried was he? And how could he care so much about my well-being when he hasn't known me that long?

At some point during Hiccup's yelling, I had dropped the chest so my hands were free, so I returned the hug the auburn teen had me trapped in, ''I'm sorry.'' I whisper, ''I didn't mean for you to worry. I just-'' I couldn't finish my sentence as my voice gave out after witnessing such emotion I wasn't surprised by this.

Hiccup loosened his grip and looked me in the eye, ''Where were you?'' concern written on his face.

''Ironically, at the Smothering Smokebreaths nest.'' he pulled away from me completely and took a few steps back in shock.

''WHAT?!'' the others teens exclaimed.

''How in Thor's name, are you still alive and in one piece?!'' Fishlegs asked/screamed.

''I showed them I wasn't a threat and I managed to talk them into giving me the chest.'' I picked up the chest and presented it to a gobsmacked Hiccup, ''They looked pretty guilty, once I told them it was a gift your 'no longer with us' mother had meant for you. After they heard that they retrieved it from their nest and, I think, apologised if the kick-puppy look they had was anything to go by.'' I tell them. It's the truth just not the whole truth.

The group look at the chest in Hiccup's arms and then at me, ''Wow, Tsuna you're really made of tough stuff.'' Tuffnut complimented me with a chuckle, Ruffnut nodded in agreement with a smirky-smile. I shrug at him.

Astrid just shook her head in disbelief with a smile, Fishlegs was recovering from the whole 'I talk them into giving the chest' thing and Snotlout looked like he was about to drool. Weirdo.

Hiccup looked at the chest then at me, I figured he was happy that he had it now, then he, to my surprise, dropped/chucked the chest to the ground and pulled me into another hug, ''Thank you. But don't you make me worry like that again.'' he whispered into my ear.

''I'll try not to.'' was all I could say. I wasn't going to make a promise I couldn't keep.

Time skip

Berk

After the heartfelt moment Hiccup and I had at Breakneck Bog, we decided to leave the island (BB) as soon as possible and head back to Berk. No before retrieving Johann's ship.

Stoick was giving Astrid and Snotlout instructions as they lowered the boat into the harbour, ''We're going to have to clear the forest to fix this boat.'' I hear Gobber say as the boat was completely lowered.

I saw Snotlout and Astrid land whilst the other trainers joined us on the docks. Stoick turned to Johann and asked if there was anything else he could do for him. Please ask what I hope you'll ask.

''Yes, just give me five minutes with the three who dropped me back in the ocean!'' the trader ask/shouted.

See the three in question try and sneak away, I grab them and drag them towards Johann, ''Haha, no sooner said than do.'' I laugh, as Johann's eyes glinted with something.

''Thank you, lass. Next time I'm in Berk I give you anything you want from my merchandise for free.'' he offers with a smile, as he takes hold of Ruff, Tuff and Snotlout. I tell him I'll hold him to that offer.

''Why would you do this, Tsuna?'' I hear the three call out, as Johann dragged them away.

I turn to them with a smile, ''Think of this as my revenge on you three for scaring me. Besides, you do deserve it for abandoning Johann like that.'' I wave them farewell as Johann dragged them from view.

Hiccup's house

Hiccup's POV

I stood with my dad, staring at the chest on the table, ''Go ahead, open it.'' he urges me, so I do. When I opened it I saw a little, stuffed, toy dragon.

''I remember this.'' I say, breathlessly.

''Aye, you should.'' my dad said, ''Your mother made that for you when you were just a baby. Scared you half to death, you didn't sleep for a week.'' he told me, amusement in his voice.

''What? I was afraid of dragons?'' I asked in disbelief, as Toothless brought his head closer. What timing.

My dad chuckled and told me I threw the stuffed dragon into the sea, when he had taken me fishing. When I asked him how he found it, he explained that it was found in a fishing net and Johann had been traded it and contacted him.

After hearing that I look down, ''I was so little when mum…you know…I was starting to get afraid that I'd forget her.'' I admitted, ''But know I love it.'' I smiled.

My dad told me that mum would have been very happy to hear me say that, I nod at him understanding. I thought for a minute.

''Hey dad?'' I voice, he gave me his attention, ''Do you think it would be okay, if I gave this to someone close to me?'' I ask.

He looks at me, ''If they are close to you and they are important to you. I don't see the harm in giving them something with such value.'' he told me with a smile.

I return his smile, then I heard the door open and close and then heard the voice of the person I was thinking about. Great timing.

Tsuna walked in with a smile on her face and told me that Johann was getting his revenge on the twins and Snotlout, and in a roundabout way was getting her revenge on them for scary her on the boat. Dad and I laugh at this information. Now is as greater time than any.

''Hey, Tsuna.'' I get her attention.

She smiles at me, ''Yeah, what is it?'' she asks.

I take a deep breath and walk up to her, ''Here, I want you to have this.'' I hold out the toy dragon, which she accepts with a smile.

''Thanks, Hiccup. Oh yeah, what was in the chest anyway?'' she asks with a smile. My dad chuckles and she looks at him in confusion.

''You're holding it.'' I tell her and her eyes widen.

''Hiccup I can't take something that holds great importance to you. It's was from your mother, right? You should keep it.'' she tries to give it back, but I take her hands and push them, and the toy, back to her.

I smile, ''If it wasn't for you my friends, would have left and returned here, then I wouldn't have found about the Smothering Smokebreaths. If it wasn't for you we wouldn't have found out that the Smokebreaths used metal to build their nests. If it wasn't for you-'' I pause to hug her tightly, ''I wouldn't have the chest and that toy my mother made for me. It's thanks to you that this important possession was returned to me, and that is reason enough to give you something so important to me. Thank you.'' I tell her and pull away, amused to see her shocked face.

Tsuna's POV (of what just happened)

I had gotten back and I saw Hiccup with his dad and Toothless. I couldn't help but tell them what had happened with Johann and the terrible trio, and they found it just as amusing as I did. Hiccup then called out my name.

I smile at him, ''Yeah, what is it?'' I ask.

He takes a deep breath and walks towards me, ''Here, I want you to have this.'' he says, as he hold out the toy dragon, which I accept with a smile.

''Thanks, Hiccup. Oh yeah, what was in the chest anyway?'' I ask, see the chest on the table, with a smile. Stoick chuckles and I look at him in confused.

''You're holding it.'' Hiccup tells me and my eyes widen.

''Hiccup I can't take something that holds great importance to you. It's was from your mother, right? You should keep it.'' I say, trying to give dragon back, but he takes my hands and pushes them, with the toy in them, back to me. He then tells me it was thanks to me that he even had this to give and hugs me as he thanks me. I could see Stoick look at his son in surprise at his display, then smiled warmly at us.

Total Deja-vu. I hate to think how Hiccup will react when he discovers I'm a boy. I don't even want to think what his dad will do to me.
