Naruto ran at top speed to the village, talking with Kurama the way there.

"GAARA! GAARA! I HAVE NEWS!" He shouted and rushed into Keade's hut. The group of ninjas were outside with the others. The red-headed racoon demon had his tail raised and ears flicking in interest.

"What are you talking about Naruto?" Sakura asked rubbing her hand up and down her arm.

"Kurama was telling about this jewel that grants wishes. He said that if we find it we'll be able to go home." Naruto rushed out his eyes big with excitement.

"A jewel you say?" Neji asked, his position next to Hinata gave him a clear view of Naruto's excited face.

"Naruto allow me to speak with him." Gaara's voice was commanding, yet intrigued. With a nod, Naruto's eyes slipped closed, body slumped down. Then he was standing up. His eyes opening, what was once blue oceans was now red slitted lava pits.

"Kurama-san is it true? Is there a stone that can get us home?" Gaara's voice was calm yet had an under tone of hope.

"Its true. There is a sacred jewel in this realm. If I remember correctly it's guarded by a priestess."

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but you aren't going to be getting that jewel anytime soon." Inuyasha said walking up to Kurama with a sneer on his face.

"And why is that pup?" Kurama was amused at the pups words. By the way he smelled he could tell the boy was a half demon, a dog demon. Dog demon...Why did that sound familair...Whatever he would think about that later.

"I say that, because we are already on the journey to find the pieces of the jewel." The half demon said.

"Pieces? As in plural. As in its broken?!" Kurama was livid. The sacred jewel was in pieces! The jewel that granted wishes was destroyed. The idiots!

"How the hell is it broken?!" Kurama screamed. He stated hyperventilating and was pacing.

"This can't be...ruins eveything...Idiots."He mumbled as he paced. Gaara was shocked his only way to get everyone home was there then it was ripped from his fingers.

"It got broken when a crow demon was trying to steal and Kagome tried to save it." The monk said quietly.

"Well this sucks. What are we going to do Kurama-sama?" Sakura asked rubbing her hand down her purple stripped arms. Kurama stopped pacing and looked down at the ground thinking.

"How much of the jewel do you have?" He asked. Kogome walked forward and presented the almost whole jewel.

"This is all we have. We've been searching for months for this." She said. Kurma was once again in deep thought.

"We will have to go with you on this mission to find the rest." He responded. Everyone else looked at him like he was crazy. Stepping forward Hinata took Kurama's hand and looked up at him.

"Are you sure? remember they said there are powerful beings out there, and if this jewel is powerful enough to make wishes there will be more then enough competition for the remaining shards." She looked at him with worry, but he just smiled at her and squeezed her hand.

"Don't worry my dear. Everything will be alright. Once we find the shards and the jewel is fixed we will get our wish and go home. No man or demon is to strong for us." He was almost as stupid as Naruto, Sakura thought.

"If we are going to be traveling with them then we should head out soon. The faster we find the shards the faster we go home." Shikamaru said scratching head around his antlers.
