When Gajeel walked into the mayor's office he could smell the faint scents of clove and peppermint. There was a rather round looking woman peaking over the desk with short grey hair and a long bird like nose. "Can I help you … um sir?" She addressed the pierced man with some hesitation Gajeel was used to this type of treatment. "Yes I am here to see the mayor." The Iron dragon slayer pulled the piece of parchment containing the job listing from his pocket, and showed it to the woman. "Oh!" the spherical woman exclaimed. "Right this way I am so glad you are here. Pardon me I thought you were one of the ruffians that we we've been dealing with." A slight smirk fell grew upon the man's face. "GiHi I am a fairytail mage, I don't run with scum." The woman stood up and walked around the desk and waited for him to follow her, as they walked Gajeel heard wrappers crinkling from peppermint candies he noticed the woman seemed to be eating. Gajeel didn't like the how the peppermint smelled and it made his nose slightly burn.

When they neared the end of the hallway she went toward the door on the right. The little round woman knocked twice and after hearing a few grumbles let herself and the dark haired man in. "Mayor, this is a fairytail mage he is here for the about bandits that we sent a job request for. " The red eyed man walked into the room and his nose was hit by a wall of clove coming from the cigar in the older man's hand. He fought the urge to cover his sensitive nose from the strong scent. "Yes sir, my name is Gajeel Redfox, my partner and I am here to answer the request sent to our guild." Gajeel went into business mode upon entering the office. He was used to it due to his time as a S class mage in Phantom Lord. The mayor looked him over with curious eyes. "Partner and where is he?" 'Of course he would assume it was a man,' he snickered to himself. "She is checking us into a nearby hotel we figured we would go over whatever information you gave us and make a plan then head out tomorrow to find the bandits."

The older gentleman set his cigar down on a crystal ash tray, pulled a file out of his desk drawer, and passed it to the dragon slayer. "This is all the information my men have been able to gather. From what they've told me, there is the possibility of a mage or two working among the bandits. The iron dragon looked at him and grinned darkly. "A few mages won't make a difference to me." Gajeel took the file from the man's tobacco stained hands and got up to leave. "Please take caution when going against these bandits. Our town can't take much more damage and with fairytails reputation…" the dragon slayer snarled "I am not that flame brained idiot. I won't go around knocking down buildings in a fight." The ashen haired man stiffened slightly. "None the less, I would appreciate my town in one piece, thank you." This man was starting to boil Gajeel's blood. "I'll try not to knock down more than one or two buildings old man" with that Gajeel left the mayor's office a headed back towards the hotel.

Lucy's POV

Lucy watched as the iron dragon slayer walked away waving at her. She could have sworn he was shaking with laughter. "Geez that iron asshat" the brown eyed blonde sent a rock in front of her flying a few meters. 'What the hell am I supposed to do when he gets back?! I need to straighten things out and tell him that kiss meant nothing'

'Did it though?'

'What do you mean of course it didn't' Lucy argued with the tiny voice in the back of her head.

'What about all those yummy dreams you've been having about him, hmm? And I mean did you feel the fire in it? Not to mention that wonderful bulge in his pants there's no way you missed that'

the former heiress blushed deeply of course she didn't miss that and that kiss, oh Mavis that kiss was like a primal need to delve deeper in to that delicious man…. 'What are you doing to me? It didn't mean anything and he probably thinks I'm crazy for attacking him like that'

'He didn't seem to mind if you know what I mean if anything I'd say he was fairly into it.'

'Well what you say doesn't matter your just a voice in my head probably caused by my lack of activities lately' it's true the blonde had been on a couple dates recently but none really interested her enough to make it past dinner.

Lucy seemed to be in a daze as she walked into the hotel. There was a blue haired young man at the counter he didn't seem to be much older than her. The bluenette looked her up and down not seeming to care if she noticed. "Hello miss can I help you?" the blonde was still lost in her own world not quite paying attention to the conversation at hand. "Yeah, I need to get a room for 3 nights please"

'We should get a king bed like Gajeel said I could see us having a lot of fun with him there'

'We are not getting a "king bed" and we are not going to play with the dragon now shut up I need to think'

'I am you thinking, stupid' the voice sounded almost triumphant and Lucy couldn't understand why. "Here's your key miss, that's three nights in our king size room. Have a nice stay." 'Oh crap did I say it out loud?!'

'Yessss!'

While the celestial mage had her inner debate a small group of people made their way to the check in counter. She waited her turn then went back up to speak to the man. "Um I'm sorry I didn't mean to get a king size room is there any way I can switch to a room with 2 beds?" The receptionist looked at her with confusion and slight annoyance showing in his eyes. "Let me check" he flipped open his book sluggishly as if this was the most inconvenient task in the world. "I'm sorry, but it seems the guest that just came through took our last double room." He smirked much to the blonde's annoyance. "Ok thank you" she turned away to walk towards the lounge area of the lobby.

'Damn it I am so screwed'

'Well yeah that's kind of the point' the inner voice chuckled.

'Why won't you shut up? You're in my head. I should be able to silence you.' the brown eyed woman stomped her foot, then felt that she must have looked insane by the way people were looking at her. While she battled her minds perverted demon. She gripped the room key in her hand, wanting to avoid further embarrassment, and made her way to the elevator. 'I can tell Gajeel to get his own room when he gets here.'

'Ha. Yeah, that's likely' Lucy felt her subconscious doing a happy dance.

'Yeah, ok. I might actually be going crazy'

Lucy looked down at the key in her hand to see that her room was on the third floor. She quickly pressed the button on the elevator wanting to get away from the stares of the people in the lobby. 'If Gajeel doesn't want to get a separate room he can sleep on the floor. I'm sure Virgo will help me move some furniture around if I need too.

'You take the fun out of everything you know'

'Whatever'

When Lucy made it to her room the first thing she noticed was that the king sized bed took up most the space. 'Oh crap.' She groaned. If there was a smaller room it must only have a smaller bed because this place was tiny and crowded with the furniture they had decorated it with. The mage sighed turning to check out the bathroom by the entrance of the room. Much to her surprise the bathroom was rather spacious with a large claw foot tub at the back of the room. She popped her head out the bathroom door to check the time on the clock near the bed. "I should have enough time for a bath before I need to meet Gajeel downstairs" she spoke aloud to herself in order to fill the quiet room.

'And after that hot train ride I'm sure you could use a good scrub.'

While she hated to admit it her pervy demon was right she could use a nice soak.

Gajeel POV

As the red eyed man approached the hotel, he expected bunny would be in the lobby where he told her to meet him, but apparently the celestial mage couldn't be bothered. 'Well that would figure.' The iron dragon slayer thought to himself. He continued through lobby still carrying his bags from the train. 'I should've left these with her.' Thinking of her, he found the blondes' peach blossom scent as he approached the check in counter. There was a snarky looking blue haired man waiting to greet him with a disgusted grimace. 'What is with these idiots today? Judging me before I even say a damn word.' the dark haired man walked up to the clerk he had already dubbed an idiot with the intensions of finding his guild mate. "Hello, sir. How can I be of service to you today?" the bluenette's tone was anything but welcoming. "I'm looking for my partner; she is a blonde, and has the fairytail guild mark on her right hand." The studded man pointed at his own guild mark on his shoulder. The receptionist looked at him with suspicion in his eyes. "I'm sorry sir, but I am not at liberty to divulge information about our guests." The dragon slayer's patience was already running thin today after his discussion with the mayor. Now this moron was going to piss him off too. "That's fine I'll find her on my own brat."

Gajeel took a few steps away from the counter and caught a whiff of peach blossoms in the direction of the elevator. The snarky brat called out to him saying he had to check in if he was going to wander around the hotel, but the red eyed man ignored him, and continued walking in the direction of bunny girls scent. All he wanted to do was find his room and relax a little before he got to work on the file that the mayor had given him. As he boarded the elevator he pressed each button so that it would take him to each floor. He should be able to catch her scent if he stopped on the right level. 'But dear Mavis these things make me sick' why bunny couldn't have taken the stairs was beyond him. As the nauseating contraption took him to each floor it would stop with a jerking motion that made his stomach lurch. The doors opened on the second floor but her scent was not there. He quickly pressed the small button with arrows facing inwards and continued his torturous journey. Much to his delight, when the doors opened on the third floor he smelled the peach blossoms. Gajeel leapt out of the evil moving box and followed the celestial mages scent down the hall. 'Bunny must want to be punished. First she doesn't wait for me then she makes me ride in the mobile death trap'

The iron dragon slayer amused himself thinking of all the ways he'd love to punish that sexy ass body of hers, and settled on biting would be the best option. It was obvious she had a thing for him and if she attacked again he would be happy to oblige. Who wouldn't want to be with the blonde bomb shell? Ever since he had over heard her conversation with the demon woman about having sex with him in her dreams, he couldn't keep his eyes off of her. It wasn't just that though, Gajeel had been noticing her for a while. The way she fought, the way she smiled all the time even though nothing in particular seemed to cause it, she was like the sun and everyone seemed to gravitate to her even black steel Gajeel. The man was pulled from his inner musings by the sound of a maid pushing her cart down the hall. She was a cute little woman with lavender hair not much different than Lucy's own maid spirit the two could be sisters. Gajeel reached the door that was emitting bunny's smell and tried the knob. "Locked" he knocked a few times but then heard the sound of light snores on the other side of the door. 'Of course she wouldn't make things easy.'

Gajeel turned towards the little maid "hey lady do you think you could let me in my partner has the key and she's fallen asleep and locked me out." the small woman stopped her cart and walked up to the man eyeing him suspiciously then after taking him in smiled. "Sure give me just a minute." She pulled a large ring of keys out of her pocket and picked through finding the one with the rooms number on it. After she opened the door she smiled at him mischievously "Have a nice stay." With that she skipped back to her cart pushed it down the hall and left his line of sight. As Gajeel turned to his room he could have sworn he saw a golden light coming from around the corner the maid had just gone. But he chalked it up to his imagination after encountering such an oddly trusting woman. 'I mean I could be anyone trying to get to bunny girl'

Gajeel entered the room he already knew he was in trouble. He walked in and saw bunny girl sprawled out on a king bed in nothing but a fluffy robe. 'maybe she does want to be punished' He felt his iron studded rod stiffen at the sight of the woman laying there with her legs spread out, one of her nipples just barely peaking out the opening of the robe. 'I never thought she'd actually get a bed to play in and now tempting me by looking so inviting in her sleep…' he moved closer to the blonde as she began reaching for something in her bed. He wasn't prepared for what happened. Lucy had taken a fistful of his shirt and pulled down on to the bed and began to suffocate him in her large chest. Gajeel did the only thing he could think of and bit down on her cleavage trying not be smothered by the ridiculously large mounds in his face. 'She's trying to kill me' he looked up seeing his bite had done the trick and the blonde was awake and had loosened her grip on him. He moved up her body to look in her eyes. He expected to see fear in the beautiful brown orbs but instead he saw a slight confusion but the thing that was most prominent was lust. The blonde wanted him and it was all his dragon instincts needed to lose control. "Damn it bunny. I can't hold back" and he didn't.
