Disclaimer: Don't own shit

Hey look! New chapter! It's a miracle!

Enjoy desu~~

"Fuck!" Minato swore as he scrambled around the Hokage's library. Sure Minato knew being Hokage was going to be tough, but this was fucking ridiculous. Minato practically screamed in frustration as he desperately tried to access his options.

This was not how today was supposed to go. This was supposed to be the best day of his life.

This was the day he became a father!

Well technically there as Naruto, but that was a rather complicated situation. What he really meant was that this was the day HIS child would be born.

To be honest, Minato wasn't really sure how it happened. He supposed it was Kushina's desperate to save what was left of their relationship. She had come to him in the middle of the night-they no longer shared a bed-and practically thrown herself on him.

For Minato, it was a moment of weakness. He hated what she had done, but he missed her. He missed what they once had. So he offered no protest, only silent compliance.

That night alone they lay together in a struggle of pained passion.

Nothing changed. They were still distant, still damaged. But there was hope now, hope they would never forget, but at the very least be able to forgive and move forward.

That was what Natsumi represented. Hope

Hope for what was left of their miserable lives, and now apparently hope for the entire entire village of Konoha.

The Nine Tails had been unsealed.

Minato was right there. He should have stopped it from ever happening, but the masked man was too quick, too cunning. He had access to very sensitive information and knew exactly when to strike … right when the seal was at its weakest during Kushina's childbirth.

Now the Nine Tails was on the loose and only moments from destroying Konoha. There was only one method Minato could think of to stop the Kyubi.

The Reaper Death Seal.

He dreaded this choice more than anything. The Reaper Death Seal was a very dangerous technique that demanded the life of the user as payment. Only Minato could not afford to die tonight. The masked man was still on the loose. If left unchecked the mysterious enemy could bring down the whole of Konoha with none the wiser. Anyone with the balls to unleash the Kyubi on Konoha was not to be underestimated.

Plus he was finally given the chance to fix his life. It was slow, but hr and Kushina had been making progress. Most important of all, he had a daughter now, a daughter who he had the responsibility of watching over, teaching how to be a ninja, teaching how to understand the hearts of others and become the savior he wished he had been.

And he still had to figure out what to do with Naruto.

It had been almost a year since the boy was born. The situation was bad and he wasn't proud of it, but it certainly could have been worse.

Kushina refused to nurse the child, and with Minato constantly busy they had to hire a wet nurse.

He was being properly nourished. He would grow up strong and healthy. He was being properly educated ad stimulated. He would grow up without mental disorders. But the boy wasn't really being raised, he was being cultivated, and Minato felt terrible. Naruto lacked the love provided by a family, and Minato couldn't bring himself to care for the child like he knew he would with Natsumi.

However, these thoughts would have to wait till later. There was one very important step in Minato's plan that had to be covered if he hoped to use the Reaper Death Seal and come out alive.

He had to get his brother on board.

Minato felt every part of him protest as he approached his brother's apartment. He did not like resorting to this. Since Naruto's birth, Minato had little to no contact with Ichiro aside from assigning missions. However, there was no other option. Kushina was too injured to attempt such a strenuous procedure, Jiraya was far from Konoha and most likely had no idea what was even going on in his village, and Sarutobi was busy fending off the Kyubi. The old Hokage would have no time to prepare for a ritual he would be completely unprepared for. Ichiro was the only other person in the village that had experience with fuinjutsu.

The run down apartment had not changed since Minato's last visit, and as he stepped through the broken door the sight of his brother adorning his ninja uniform greeted him. So he was going to fight.

"What do you want Minato? You wouldn't have come here unless it was urgent" Ichiro said as he continued his preparations.

Minato appreciated the bluntness. He didn't have the time for small talk. "I need your help to use the Reaper Death Seal. You're the only one I could come to."

Despite the situation, Ichiro almost laughed. "So that's what you're up to? You think you can cheat the death god, big bro?" Ichiro patronized as he finally turned to face Minato.

Ichiro hadn't changed. Bags bellow his eyes and scruff upon his face seemed to become a permanent trait. But now sadness and loneliness polluted his gaze. "That's rather selfish of you Minato" he finished.

"You owe me Ichiro. I know about your connection to the Shinigami, with your help we can make this work" Minato said looking his brother right in the eyes.

Ichiro took a long time deciding, and for a moment Minato thought he would refuse. "I'll help you" Ichiro sighed, but before Minato could reply Ichiro continued "On the condition that you finally let me leave this place" Ichiro said. The look in his brother's eyes told Minato this term was non-negotiable.

Even if he was disgusted with the choice he was being forced to make, with the way things were between Ichiro and him, Minato couldn't argue. "We have to go see Naruto. You have to see him at least once". Ichiro felt dread fill his heart, but found he couldn't argue either.

Slowly, extremely slowly, Ichiro reached down to stroke the short blonde hairs over Naruto's head.

He had been through hell and back, seen battles that would make hardened veterans loose their lunch. Yet, the quite breathing of one small child was enough to want to make him drop everything and fall to his knees.

Ichiro wished he could take his little boy with him, but where he was going was no place for a child. Even the hell that Konoha was would be a safer place for his child, or so he hoped.

"Ichiro … We have to go" Minato whispered quietly in order to not wake Naruto. It was his idea to go see Naruto, and he hated to drag his brother away from the first and maybe last time he would see Naruto, but time was of the essence and with every passing moment the Kyubi came nearer.

Ichiro moved his hand and looked long and hard at baby Naruto. Hesitantly he said "Naruto … there will come a time when you are surrounded by nothing but darkness. You'll be lost in a pit of suffering that will try to consume your soul. Don't let it win. Become a good man Naruto, a better man than I ever was". Tears dripped from Ichiro's eyes and slowly fell onto the fabric of Naruto's crib.

Finally he turned to Minato, who slightly jumped back in surprise.

"Lets go" Ichiro said

Pitch black eyes with sickly yellow pupils started into the night.

Minato and Ichiro stood in a clearing outside the gates of Konoha. In the middle of the vast clearing lay an altar big enough for a single child. The atmosphere around them was thick with the ominous presence of youki energy. Minato's only saving grace was that the child that lay in his arms was still somehow asleep.

It hadn't been easy getting Natsumi from Kushina. As expected, she protested furiously. Mere hours after birth, Kushina was unwilling to release her daughter from her grasp, much less allow said daughter to become the new jinjuriki of the Nine Tails.

In the end, Minato had only been able to convince her with the promise that both of them would be there to guide Natsumi along her complicated path.

It was almost time now. All that was left was for Sarutobi and his squad of ANBU to drive the Kyubi closer to the clearing. Then the rest would be up to Ichiro and him.

"Are you sure about this Minato … are you sure you can do this to your own child?" Ichiro asked his brother. They may not be on the best terms, but this wasn't about Minato, this was about his newborn child.

"How can I ask the same of my villagers when I am unable to commit the act myself. I alone will bear the responsibility of my decision, and with hope, help Natsumi recognize the Kyubi as a gift rather than a curse".

"You and I both know you'd be lying to her. The danger it will put her in, being not only the jinjuriki of the Kyubi, but also the daughter of the Forth Hokage, you'll have to watch her every move just to make sure she isn't kidnapped by her own villagers" Ichiro said in a tired voice.

Minato sighed, and said "Like I said … that's my burden to bear. Now stop … it's here"

The Kyubi stumbled back, falling back on it's butt and hind legs. It struggled to maintain its balance as a massive bo-staff pushed into its stomach.

Despite both Minato and Ichiro being veterans of war, they were both stunned as they caught sight of the massive beast for the first time.

The Kyubi was gigantic, almost as tall as the Hokage monument that looked over the village. It's orange-red fur cast a sickly image in the dim light provided by the moon. Claws bigger than any man glistened as they scrapped and tore trough the air in an attempt to stab its prey.

"We need to restrain it" Minato realized suddenly. He panicked as limited options flew through his mind. Could he possibly summon a toad to trap the Kyubi? No, that would only work for a few seconds at best. How had he not thought of this sooner!

Suddenly thick black chains rushed through the air past Minato, stabbing and curling around the Kyubi to restrain it in a rather uncomfortable position. Minato looked on in shock. He had never seen chains like this before. Sure it was similar to Kushina's, but hers were golden and far less thick. These chains radiated a dark energy and seemed to have extremely sharp barbs extending from and around the links of the midnight black metal.

Minato then looked back and was shocked to see the chains extending from Ichiro, whose mysterious black and yellow eyes starred pointedly back at him. "There is still a lot you don't know about me brother, but ask your questions later! This isn't as easy as it looks" Ichiro barked through gritted teeth.

Minato rushed to the altar and placed Natsumi upon it, quickly performing the necessary seals to summon the death god. The Kyubi seemed to understand what was happening.

"You can not seal me again human!" it yelled and thrashed wildly. Unfortunately for the Nine Tales, the harder it thrashed the further the dark black barbs sunk into its flesh.

Completing the last of the hand seals, Minato gathered the necessary chakra to complete the jutsu. He then looked to Ichiro, who nodded his head and summoned his own chakra. They then shouted their desire " SHINIGAMI I SUMMON YOU!"

There was only silence for a long time

But the air was getting colder

Goose bumps appeared on the skin of the Forth Hokage and a bead of cold sweat trickled down his cheek.

And then the death god arrived

A pale purple demon with hair as white as snow seemed to bend the very fabric of reality as it phased in front of Minato.

The being needed no explanation. With a swift slice of its tanto blade the yin and yang chakra of the Kyubi separated from what was now only the husk of the giant fox. Seals that had been drawn in preparation for the ritual lit up like Christmas lights on the navels of both Minato and Natsumi. And as the chakra entered their bodies … both screamed in pain.

"AHHHHHHH!" Minato yelled as foul chakra burnt away at his chakra coils. It felt as if molten lava was being forced through his stomach into his body. With how much chakra was being pumped through his body, one could only image he was experiencing what it felt like to fit a golf ball through a straw

For the newborn Natsumi, the pain was different. Natsumi had no developed chakra coils and therefor was much more receptive to the foreign chakra invading her system. However, one must not forget the baby was now experiencing pain for the first time; raw, excruciating pain.

After a long period of time both seemed to fall into a more stable state, relative to what they had just endure of course.

Ichiro sighed in exhaustion. The Kyubi had been dealt with, now all that was left was the death god.

Arguably the worst part.

The godly being slowly floated over to the still body of Minato, but before it could slice into Minato's soul, Ichiro spoke up "What? You're not gonna say something?"

"It's best not to expose our relationship Ichiro. There are eyes lurking everywhere" spoke the death god for the first time since arrival. The voice was dark, cold, void of emotion.

"Well, whatever. I need to call in a favor" Ichiro said as he rubbed his temples. Against his better judgment, he was about to bargain with the god of death for a brother that hated him.

The Shinigami said nothing, just waited. He most likely already knew what the request would be.

"Don't take Minato's Soul" Ichiro said finally

"You know the rules Ichiro. He summoned me, and for that I will have his soul"

"You even remember how many errands I've done for you? How many escapee hollows I've brought back to Hueco Mundo? How many "wanna be gods" I've brought down just cause you've told me to? Do me this one favor and I'll still do your dirty work. But if you can't even do me this for me, then you've just lost your only agent in this shitty realm" Ichiro said in an aggressive tone, but he made sure not to raise his voice. Believe it or not, he knew exactly how lucky he was the death god hadn't already sliced his soul in half.

But by the looks of it, he wasn't that far off. The Shinigami did not look pleased.

"This summoning can not be taken lightly Ichiro. However, in light of your argument … half his soul will have to suffice. That is my only compromise" The Shinigami said as he flared his power in a way that dared Ichiro to challenge him further.

Ichiro could only sigh. That was the best that could be done.

And with that he watched as the lord of death sliced precisely half of the Forth Hokage's soul and proceeded to swallow it whole.

If Minato was in bad shape, he was in an even worse one now. The strain of sealing half the Kyubi inside himself, plus the additional of having his soul cut in half rendered the man in a comatose like state. Ichiro doubted the man would be getting up anytime soon. And when he did, Minato would never be the same.

As the Shinigami left, it seemed the being had a few parting words for Ichiro "Oh and Ichiro, don't think I haven't noticed the presence of your son" There was a deadly silence over the clearing "Like you, the boy will come to me one day seeking power. Like you, he will be mine" A rare smile adorned the Shinigami's face as it disappeared back into it's own realm.

Ichiro now stood alone in a clearing with one Kyubi husk, one comatosed Hokage, one screaming niece, and one overbearing thought of a son that was destined for darkness.

He was still leaving

He still left

Well well well, I'm all done. Hope you guys like it. I try to use a little dramatic flare while wrighting, but it's hard to keep that up through a whole chapter.

If you guys haven't noticed, I'm not really just throwing in things from bleach into my story. Aizen isn't just transported to Naruto land to train him into a mega butt plugger. It's more like I'm incorporating my own aspects of the two shows into something I can work with while still being original.

I come up with most of my good idea's/plot-twists when writing the story, but I feel like it'll be nice to go in with a plan to most chapters. So read and review, and don't forget to mention what you think should happen.

I need a bunch of shit:

Which girl is gonna do the tango with our anti-hero

What powers you think Naruto and Natsumi should have

What kind of friends as enemies you want to see them make

Lmk people, Hayaku Hayaku!
