Epilogue, Phoenix Prime
Phoenix POV
Once we were back, I couldn't really explain because Earthquake's forces attacked us and helped him escape. I didn't really care that much because I had finally figured out where the Matrix of Leadership was hidden at. The others were a bit down, due to Quake's escape, but I quickly told them that everything would work out in the end. We landed the ship and then I took off, JC and Taggs trying to catch up to me. I past a lot of bots in my mad dash to the museum, which caused a lot of them to follow me to see what was going on.
Once there, I stopped at the broad doors, wondering if my though was correct. I crushed that though because I knew I was right, I could feel it. I felt the Matrix's pull, making me walk inside the museum and straight to the podium in the middle of the lobby. A replica of the Matrix was kept there, but I knew it wasn't a replica, it was the real Matrix. I stared at it, watching it float there, never noticing the huge crowd that had gathered right outside. Finally, taking a deep breath, I reach out and carefully grabbed the Matrix. As soon as I grabbed it, it began to glow and it became so bright that I had to cover my optics and shield them from the glow.
Phoenix Prime, A voice, strong and powerful, said, sounding like it was coming from all around me. You have been chosen as the next Prime of Cybertron. You have proven yourself worthy of the Matrix of Leadership. Do you accept the full responsibilities of the title Prime?
I do, I found myself saying without thinking, and I knew my statement to be true. There was a warmth spreading throughout my frame, turning searing hot very quickly.
Then rise my child, the voice continued, and the heat becoming hotter and feeling like it was burning right thru my spark. It was then I realized that I was in the process of a spark scan. Rise, Phoenix Prime, and become the leader you are destined to become. It was then that the heat became so hot and unbearable, then was suddenly gone, replaced with a cool, calming hum. I onlined my optics and saw the Matrix gone, but I knew that it was right next to my spark, right where it belonged. I turned around to see everybot and human there looking at me, shocked and surprised.
I looked back at them, then one mech stepped forward. I knew him to be one of the more influential bots against me being a Prime. I only watched him, curious as to what he was up to. He stopped just after passing the last of those in front of him and locked optics with me. We looked at each other for a moment or two, then he did something I never thought he would ever do: He kneeled, right there, helm bowed in respect for his Prime. Soon others were doing the same, then all were kneeling.
"Rise, please," I said, walking towards him and everyone. He rose, but slowly and as soon as he was at his full height I smiled at him. "Till all are one." I simply said, making him and many others smile. I held out my servo towards him, locking optics once again.
"Till all are one," He replied, taking my servo and smiling even more. "You, Phoenix Prime, are our Prime." I opened my mouth to reply, but alarms went off everywhere. I sighed and opened up a few channels to see what was going on. It was Earthquake already attacking a nearby neutral city. I looked at the mech and he nodded, making me smirk.
"Autobots!" I called out, looking at everyone. "Transform and roll out! We have a neutral city under attack!" There were some cheers, for now there was Con aft kicking ahead, and I just chuckled, transforming into my jet mode and taking off so I could lead the attack. Boy was Quake in for a big surprise now.
Epilogue, Optimus Prime
Optimus Prime POV, Earth, NEST base
I stood outside, looking up at the stars and wondered, not for the first time, how she was doing. A small smile found its way onto my face as I remembered our short time together. I heard footsteps down and behind me and I looked back to see who it was.
"Hello Will," I greeted the major as he walked over. "How are you this evening?"
"I'm good, Prime," He replied with a smile. "How are you?" He asked, looking up at the stars. I turned my gaze skyward and sighed.
"I am good," I told him. "Just thinking about someone I knew." I heard him hum a bit in thought.
"What happened to them?" He asked innocently, and I though back to the promise we had made to her and her friends.
"She went home," I simply said. I continued to look at the stars and my thoughts drifted over to the others, and whether or not they remembered her and her friends from so long ago. Whether or not they do remember her, I know I will always remember her. She gave us something we all really needed that day, so long ago. She gave us hope. Hope for the future, that someday this war will end, that everything we do today can bring us the peace we want tomorrow.
"Now I wanna meet her," He commented, making me chuckle. He laughed a bit and sighed. "Anyway, night big guy." He said and went back to the hanger. I sighed again and soon followed him, transforming into my truck alt-mode and falling into recharge.
"Me too, Will," I thought to myself, thinking about how he and her would get along. "Me too."
Epilogue, Vector Prime
Unknown, Vector Prime POV
I watched as Phoenix finally found the Matrix, and then I closed the screen. I sighed again and looked at another, dark one that I always kept open to keep an optic on a great foe. Nothing had really changed yet, so I made a choice and looked over at another screen showing Optimus Prime and his Autobots on Earth.
"Then there is no other choice," I said, sighing. "Time is different, but these two Primes are really from different dimensions. How will they react to that information?" I sighed again and reopened a window to Phoenix's world. "Only one way to find out… And I just hope that they can come together and stop Him…" I looked back at the dark screen and tried not to shudder at the evil, purple colored optics that now stared back at me.
"I just hope they can stop Unicron…" I thought, turning away and went back to watching the different time lines and dimensions. "Hope is all we have now…"
