"What the fuck is this, Castiel?" Dean nearly shouted in the ex-angel's face when Castiel entered his room.

Cas took a step back, eyes widening in surprise at both Dean shouting at him and using his full name instead of just Cas. Dean only did that when something really bad was happening. Castiel didn't understand what was so bad though. "Um those are painkilling pills." He said hesitatingly.

"Yeah. The kind that get you stoned out of your mind. Why are they in your room?" Dean was backing Castiel up until his back hit the wall.

"In case one of us needed them. For a broken arm or something like that. I can't heal you guys anymore so I thought it would be useful to have those around." He answered starting to get nervous over Dean's behavior. He really didn't get the big deal. "Why were you going through my things?" Because Dean had to have been doing that to find those pills. They were in his room; under his bed so that he could just reach under there if any of them needed one.

"I was looking for the gun I let you barrow for practice, and you were out getting food so I thought I would just look. I didn't think I would find something like this." Dean looked almost betrayed as he shook the bottle of painkillers in front of Cas.

Castiel still didn't really understand what he had done wrong. He had just been trying to help, but he still felt guilty at seeing the betrayed look on Dean's face.

"Castiel have you taken any of these?" Dean asked.

Cas frowned and tilted his head. "No. I haven't been injured. Why would I?" He asked.

Dean sighed in relief, pulling Castiel into a tight hug and planting a quick kiss to Castiel's lips without even thinking about it. "Thank God."

Castiel was a bit stunned by the kiss, but he certainly wasn't going to complain. "Dean, I don't understand. Why were you so upset about those?"

"Remember when Zachariah sent me to 2014?" Dean asked. Castiel nodded. "Well you were there. You had fallen and didn't have your powers anymore, like now, and you started taking drugs to cope with it. Drugs like these pain pills. I don't want you to be like that. And I certainly don't want all of us spiraling towards the 2014 situation I was shown."

Suddenly Castiel understood Dean's anger at finding the pills. He pulled out of Dean's grasp, took the pills out of his hand and walked over to the bathroom, Dean following closely behind. Castile opened the bottle and dumped all the pills into the toilet, flushing them away. "If we get hurt I guess we can go to a hospital." He said with a shrug, giving Dean a small smile.

Dean nodded. "Thank you."

"You kissed me." Castiel said after a moment of silence.

"Yeah, I guess I did." Dean mumbled. "Heat of the moment thing."

"Do you think you could do it again?" Castiel asked.

Dean grinned. "Well I've been wanting to for a while so yeah I think I can do it again." He wrapped his arms around Castiel, pulling the smaller man closer and kissing him again.
