Don't own shit.

I know, I'm taking forever with these updates! Stuff at the end, enjoy the chapter...

Once upon a time there was a little boy, this little boy had no friends until he had turned eleven. Not long after his eleventh birthday, he entered a new world where he made his first friend, a friend he gave his trust to; believing what nearly all he said. He made his second, and most trusted, beloved friend the next day; a friend that soon knew all his secrets. Over the course of the year he made more and more friends, with each friend he gave them his trust, and loyalty to; however the little boy's trust in the new world; the new world that claimed to hold him dear, began to shake. His second year it began to tremble, with the distrust that his not so close friends throw at him. Then tremu two years later, when so many more began doubt him, when he gave them no reason to; they saw lair, instead of the scared boy he was. The year after even more doubted him, but even with this shrinking trust, his loyalty stayed, and it was that loyalty that brought him to a battlefield, years later, barely a man. It was his loyalty to his friends and that world that brought his end.

Freydolf woke to a insisted tapping on his window, slowly blinking his eyes, he just as slowly rose from his bed. The slight bit of light that came from a nearly covered window was bright, when Freydolf pushed the the curtains aside, he was greeted by a mid-morning sun and a little, brown puffball of feathers. The little ball of feathers was in fact a little owl; a very hyper, little owl, that began hooting at the sight of Freydolf, making several small, but quick circle, before it began tapping at the window again, this time each tap was accompanied by cheerful hoot. Freydolf watched the owl for a few moments, before a shoute compelled him to open the window.

"Would you keep it down! Stop that irritable noise this instance!" (Guess who)

With the window opened the little bird shot into the room, making multiple, quick paced circles around the room, screeching happily, before make itself a perch out of a chair.

"Are you a friend of that white owl?" The little owl bobbed its head with such force it fell from its perch, bouncing slightly on the cushion of the chair. Leaving the window open, Freydolf walked over to the mini owl, and helped it back to it's perch; before noticing a note on the table, picking up the note, he read it outloud, "Go over to Karon, he has some clothes for you, and stay there till I pick you up. -Fakir" Dropping the note back onto the table, Freydolf began to walk toward the door, stopping at the sound of hooting. Looking back, he saw the little owl attempting to hold the wooden flute he had obtained the day before, "Do you want me to play?" The owl bobbing its head excitedly, "But I have to go to Karon's..." The little owl pecked toward the flute, and hopped a few steps away from it, "I should play as I go?" The owl cooed, and Freydolf retrieved the flute, but didn't play it; it wasn't until he was outside, did he start playing and as he played the little owl, that now found its perch on Freydolf's head, hooting, and cooed along to whatever song Freydolf played. It was needless to say, but that day Freydolf drew quite a bit of attention. He was stopped multiple times by children, women, and a few of his school mates; the little owl took in the attention given, while Freydolf either continued to play or make small (very small) talk with a few newly acquired admirers, he was even 'kind' enough to play requests if he knew of the song. A fifteen minute walk became an hour long due to the multiple stops, song requests, and owl petting sessions, and once Karon's house/place of business was in sight, he had come across two more schoolmate; Hedwig and Luna.

"How are you, Freydolf?"

Luna was dressed in green, knitted cardigan that was buttoned closed, a pair of red shorts that reach an inch below her knees, green and black striped socks with pink and white shoe that had two sets of shoelaces; one pink and the other white, and around her neck was a necklace bottle corks.

Hedwig wore a white dress with a black band and boots; the white dress stopped an inch before her knees, although the back continued on for three more inches before stopping, the 'skirt' of her dress while white had random 'specks' of black, her 'top'; had short, puffed sleeves, and she had a small laced collar with five small, black buttons that ran down the center of her chest, her pendent sat right above the first button. Her boots nearly reached her knees and were cover in white fur, but black toes and heels peeked out from under them.

"I don't know," Hedwig gave him a soft, sad smile; before stepping closer, she tossed the little owl off and away from Freydolf head, giving the small bird a slight glare, she began to softly unknot Freydolf's hair.

"We're happy to see you," Hedwig announced, ignoring the small, screeching owl that was now in Luna's hands.

"We were looking for Pigwigeon," Luna held the small owl with one hand as she dug into pocket; soon pulling out, what appeared to be a braclet with a gold coin as a charm, "He left without his charm." The little bird held a leg, and Luna slipped the bracelet over it's leg, a soft golden glow encased the owl, as Luna placed the little bird on the ground, the small owl grew in size, and changed in shape; it became more human-like, and soon the soft glow faded, and in its place stood a young boy; Pigwigeon.

"Sure glad that charm comes with clothes," Pigwigeon grinned, "Can you imagine turning human, naked?" Pigwigeon wore a pair dark brown cargos with black pockets, a lighter brown t-shirt partly covered by a brown hooded jacket that had black 'specks' randomly thrown around, and peach colored sneakers that had three claw-like markings on the toes and one on the heel; the real eye catcher of Pigwigeon's outfit was his hood; large yellow eyes and a beak, embroidered with amazing realism. Pigwigeon glanced away in curiosity, "I can't believe there was no one to see that..." He grinned, jumping over to Freydolf, looping arms with the boy, he pointed to the sky, "To ka-whatever-his-name-is house!" However before the two could walked forward, Hedwig grabbed hold of Pigwigeon's hood.

"Karon's house is over there," she pointed to the blacksmith's that was barely a block away. Sweat drops formed on the back of Pigwigeon's head, tilting his head, he laughed awkwardly and in embarrassment.

"So you're friends of Freydolf?" Karon set down the last cup of cocoa, before taking a seat next to Freydolf.

"I'm accompanying Hedwig," Freydolf supplied, as Karon performed a spit take, coughing, Karon placed his cup down as Pigwigeon slapped his back.

"Oh? Really?" Karon coughed, "That was surprising..." Luna smiled airly, before taking sip.

"Don't worry they're not serious," she took another sip, "Hedwig just doesn't want anyone hurting Freydolf."

Pigwigeon scoffed, "More like she mother hen-ow!" He lift a leg, clutching his knee, he looked over to Hedwig, who was glaring at him, "Ah...um, nevermind..." he picked up his cup, while one hand continued to rub his abused knee, looking away from the owl/girl he took a sip of his cocoa, muttering into cup. Karon sweatdropped at the scene before him, and Luna began to pull snacks from basket, that no one remembered her having.

"Treacle tart for Freydolf and Hedwig," she placed a plate in front the two, "A cauldron Cake for Pigwigeon, and spotted dick for myself," she looked over to Karon, smiling airly, "What would you like?"

Outside of the hidden 'stage', a part of Freydolf watched a possibly private matter between three friends, this shard was a light, almost soft blue, dressed in clean jeans and a t-shirt and as the two humans disappeared below the building to save their friend, the piece floated toward the human sized/shaped puppet, "What make a human, a human? His intelligence? or his heart? It's answer evades me,even now as I search…" the puppet remained as it was, "That line really stuck to me through the years," The shard now floated before the puppet, "Another is; Do I give my life and loyalty to those who had always been there or to that who cares and loves me?"

"You are a piece of a heart, that does not belong to the prince?" the puppet monotoned, the shard nodded.

"I'm Freydolf's Trust or Loyalty, I now wander, questioning if the loyalty given was worth its price or a waste of what little trust that could be given," The puppet give a small smile.

"I am Edel and would presume you to be knowledge or curiosity," the shard laughed, shaking his head.

"No, but I do spend much time with Curiosity and I believe knowledge is needed when giving another your trust or loyalty," the shard smiled at Edel, "Maybe you can tell who does a puppet show it's loyalty to those she trusts and cherish or the who created him or her..." before fading from sight.

Watching from a gear, that was a mirror to the living world, Drosselmeyer scowled, "Irritably little…" the scene in the gear changed; a group of Freydolfs where in a room, blocking all exits, and surrounding a dark fog like being. Each move it made, the Freydolfs rearranged themselves, "Although this little twist would be quite entertaining...now should it meet the Raven or it return and control the little wizard…" another gear rolled before him, showing him Freydolf and his surroundings, "All will be answered, before I bore hopefully…" the gear returned to its spot, Drosselmeyer now watched between the two scenes for a moment before dismissing the gear showing Freydolf and his friends and focused on Ahiru and Fakir.

Said two had worked part of the way through the maze like structure, fell down a pit, and had a...revealing moment...and a short swim, before the two found a path, however they decided to catch their breath, making small talk, that was surprisingly started by Fakir.

"...That's just the kind of guy he is," Fakir was leaning on a wall, as Ahiru sat on the ground, "To protect someone, those who are small and weak…" He continued, "That's Mytho's greatest wish and to do that, He'll have no regard for himself," remembering his childhood when Mytho came into it, "Even when he lost his heart, that was the one thing he never forgot. That's just the kind of guy he is," he repeated with a small smile on his face, seeing that made Ahiru smile as well, but then a thought came to her.

"Fakir?" He hmmed, "What about Freydolf?" She paused, stuttering, "I mean, I know I don't need to know, but…" Ahiru recalled Freydolf's eyes, "I know you have a shard of his heart, it's another reason why I know you're actual nice," she smiled softly, " but, don't you think you should at least give his friends a chance?" Fakir became irritated, but gave Ahiru chance to explain.

"Maybe he is like Mytho...but what if he wasn't?" Ahiru's question struck Fakir, "I've talked to Pigwigeon in class a few times, and he, even though he hadn't know Freydolf the longest, he could remember Freydolf being very nice, and sweet," Ahiru recalled, "He said that Freydolf was given life he didn't deserve, that he should have had a better life," Ahiru paused, "He said that, Freydolf never wanted to fight, that he want to just be 'Just 'Freydolf''," Ahiru looked up to Fakir, "Do you think you could at least talk to them?" She pleaded, "Think about what they say?"

Fakir looked away from her, before responding, "I did talk...with Hedwig and..Luna?" He tried to recall, "I...They gave me a book," Ahiru's eyes widen in surprise, "I haven't read it, yet," he sighed, "I'll read it, and then, maybe, think it over…" he looked back at Ahiru, who was now smiling him.

"That's all I can really ask for, huh?"

"Let's go," Ahiru nodded, after getting back onto her feet, she walked up to Fakir, sheepishly she asked.

"Um...Do you think I could read Freydolf's story after you?"

"I'll think about it."

The two then saw a light, following it, they came across a large lake with a small island in the middle. On that island stood Kraehe, and laid Mytho, the climax of the story was reaching it peak.

As Tutu and Kraehe danced for the heart shard of Love, and the Prince, Fakir was slowly sinking into what seemed to be a bottomless lake, and slowly losing consciousness. A soft glow, barely held his attention, as did the small voice that accompanied it.

"Please don't die mister!" He could barely recall the voice's owner, "I'll be good! So don't go away like everyone else!" He could make out the slightest bit of lavender, "I'll be good! I'll go away and never come back! I won't go back home, please don't die too!" He suddenly recalled the bottle with the small heart shard, "Someone help! Please anybody! Help!" His vision faded, but slowly, he realized he could breath.

"He'll be fine."

In matter of minutes, that felt like hours, Fakir could feel a soothing heat nearby, hear the hurried steps of people as well as someone calling his name, and once his eyes opened he could see the faces of worried friends, the soft, warm glow of the fire, and the faint glow of two heart shards that belong to Freydolf; Vulnerable or Innocence and one he had yet to meet. It was a light, almost soft blue, dressed in clean jeans and a t-shirt, he stood a slight distance away, close enough for Fakir to see him, but far enough that it wasn't looming over him, like the smaller emotion.

"Don't worry," the blue shard told him, as the smaller shard sniffed and rubbed it's eye, "All is well…"

"I'll go back with Trust. I'm sorry!" the smaller emotion sniffed, the taller emotion shook its head, before kneeling down next to Innocence, whispering something to it. Fakir now more conscious than he was moments before, looked to the flame along with Mytho, Tutu, and the light blue emotion. Among the flames was an image of Edel, a clearer sight of the burning wood showed pieces of an adult sized human puppet. As Edel gave her last words to Tutu, beckoning Tutu and Mytho to dance, Fakir pulled himself up, soon was sitting up, and watching the two dance, along with the two shards.

"You haven't answered our question," The blue emotion spoke quietly, before Fakir could respond, the taller emotion asked the smaller one to stay with fakir, and return to his bottle for the two to talk more privately. In a shimmer of lavender light, the smaller shard was gone and the two were, slightly, alone.

"Have you decided yet?"

Fakir stared at the bottle with a slightly raised brow, yet not answering.

"Will you return it?" The shard sat down.

"I'll decide after I read his book." The emotion stared at Fakir for moment.

"The book you have, doesn't hold his ending, and only shows you what he was like as a child."

Fakir looked toward the emotion, that had disappeared, leaving Fakir to watch Mytho and Tutu, clutching the bottle with a shining shard.

Fakir and Mytho walked to Karon's shop/home in silence, both with much their minds; Mytho, the strange dull pain that came from his regaining heart shard, Fakir; Freydolf and his heart shards, or mainly the shard he had. The two had reached Karon, and were soon leaving with quite Freydolf, it wasn't long until they reached the dorms. None paid much mind to the two lights glowing softly from opposite ends of the girls dorm, or the one in the boys dorms, as they made their way to their dorm room. In a matter of minutes Freydolf and surprisingly Mytho were asleep, however as Freydolf slept quietly like he normally would, Mytho sleep was almost restless. Fakir, however choose not to sleep, not yet at least, he went to the small table in the room, he turned on the lamp and went in search of his school bag, pulling out brown book from it, and took a seat at the table. As Fakir read, he had not noticed the shadowy figure at his window, eying the book with a strange, crazed look, although the shadowy figure was noticed by three others.

To Rex888: No, I got the title right, at least here in USA, and again, no; it was Lilie, she Ahiru's blonde friend that likes to hurt Ahiru…

AnimeBook's: to your first question Yes, I will be securing all 7 books…and if you're wondering 'book eight' is not happening. For question 2...I thought I had answered that already, but okay, no real reason for Harry/Freydolf's instrument delivery, just wanted to add that.

Again sorry, I am taking too damn long in writing these chapters, I have scenes written randomly, but they're too short and shit.

this chapter isn't as long as I wanted long...

And there's heart shard #10, hurry and review before you lose your chance! We're down to 6 now. Congratulations to AVampiress, Rex888 and SleepyMangaHead! There still time to vote (clearly since my posting date is all over the calendar now!) Post an emotion in the review or PM me! Repeats are allowed! Just not for pairings, and the returner of shards…

Still asking:

Who's Hermione's baby daddy?

I've got five for Draco

Four for Viktor

four for Ron

One for Fred

One for George

And one for Harry...with an acceptable reason...I guess... (from my PM; imagine that it was during the time Ron wasn't there in Deathly Hallows, and Hermione decided that since it was likely she wouldn't survive the war, she didn't want to die a virgin. Who better to be your first than your best friend?), and have the baby's name be Hadrian, a tribute to Harry without being named Harry.
