for the lovely dead end justice c:

prompts: cheesy pick up lines, tequila, a wedding, loud children

pairing: no specified pairing (I just did clam since everyone loves a good clam...usually hahah)

Once upon a time, there was a girl whose laughter lit the world. Her blue eyes were sapphire crystal pools that shined with sunlight and blanketed hearts with warmth at the slightest glance. The pitter-patter of rain that pounded against the window was enough to lull her into an everlasting daydream. She was too innocent and naive to realize the dangers of love and spellbound sweet nothings of the wicked.

Once upon a time, a boy came into her life. He could raise a thousand sails with his flashing white smile. Dark hair fell into his miss-matched blue and green eyes- the colours of the sea. His cheesy pick up lines only made her laughter grow. In her eyes, he was perfection with the small touch of madness that made their world go round.

Once upon a time, the moon reflected over still water with a vanishing elegance-dissipating into shadows and the thickening fog. Shooting stars spat across the sky, striking down in the distance. They stood above the pond on the bridge, clinging to each other with shaky hands. He fondled her fingers in his palms with a faint, loving smile playing across his pinkish lips. The desperate stares of the jealous few didn't waver their star-crossed gazes towards each other. And just like that, they're the only two in the world and nothing else matters. He set his tequila glass down and whispered "We could run away" And she felt every breath.

Once upon a time, he was the prince, she was the princess and that was that. Just the crack of his smile could send her mind to the clouds. Just a giggle from her lips could make him trip head over heels. In these moments, they realize that they can have a wedding and grow old together, eternal and forever. Immortality in each other's hearts-no matter what anybody says or thinks. They're in love and that's all that matters.

Once upon a time, just a few days before, they were simply loud children with incoherent futures and not a clue who they were to become. Imagination soared and whizzed through their minds, creating castles out of nothing, unicorns out of something, and magic out of everything.

But time, how it flies. Suddenly, it's today and nothing is as it was all those years before. Their life was a broken flashback on repeat and now they might be gone, but their love lives on. Immortal, like they always said.

In the end, she's just a girl that can no longer laugh. He's just a boy that can no longer smile. This world is no longer theirs. And their lives are just fairy tales from a storybook.

As if it was never more real than that.
