YOSH! This is Squalo King with the last chapter of Love Among Darkness, but first you know the drill.

Now before the chapter starts I want you all to know that my poll is still up, for anyone that cares and it's for a main character and it's for a harem fic, my first time doing one. The next story I update is my DBZ story Crimson Saiyan Goddess, please read that as well since I will be updating it 4 times in a row or more.

Now my 3rd finished story, the end of Love Among Darkness.

Chapter 6 :(

Hueco Mundo

Harribel and her fraccion exit a garrantar into Hueco Mundo, they were the only ones that would be coming back because it was over, the winter war was finished with the results as the following: A large number of the arrancar who were on the assault with Aize, Gin and Tousen have died leaving only Harribel, Sung-Sun, Mila and Apacci, Aizen was defeated after betraying Harribel, Tousen died, Gin was dead and the Shinigami had won. Much to Harribel's surprise the Shinigami let them live, Orihime healed them and allowed them to go back home. Harribel talked to the girls and they all decided not to fight the Shinigami anymore and stay in Hueco Mundo.

"Time to go home." Said Harribel. There was a depressing aura around them.

"It'll be quiet." Said Sung-Sun/

"Yeah, not in the best way." Said Apacci.

"Shit." Uttered Mila. Harribel new why they were upset, but just because the war ended the way it did doesn't mean everyone is dead, she hoped that mostly for Ulquiorra.

"When we return to Las Noches, check for any survivors and make sure they're alive." Ordered Harribel. Hearing that order made them more alert and prompted to search they're tattered home.

"W-What do we tell them?" asked Apacci. Harribel looked at Apacci.

"The truth." She said., They all then Sonindoed back to Las Noches, as they did Harribel silently prayed that she wasn't the only Espada alive and that the Espada that was a step below her still breathed.

Las Noches

When Harribel and her fraccion arrived at Las Noches they saw the destruction that was wrought by their enemy and even allies, when they split up and looked for anyone that was alive, but Harribel didn't exactly look around, when Apacci, Sung-Sun and Mila were out of sight she went to the meeting spot where she and Ulquiorra would be. As she leaned against the wall all she could do was hope in her heart that Ulquiorra did as he was ordered, as she ordered, the only thing she could do was wait.

"I'll wait, that's all I can do, if he's nearby I'll sense him." Said Harribel to herself. Just alone with herself with nothing but a wish to hear Ulquiorra's voice, to speak to him or even touch him, but as with life this wish will come unfulfilled

4 hours later

Despair, that was all that Harribel had felt in her heart, a feeling that she knew all too well, a feeling that seemed to follow her no matter what she wished for and it was back again. She had waited for the longest time but Ulquiorra had not come at all, he wasn't the type to disobey an order especially when it came to meeting up with her, she tried sensing his presence, but nothing and her fraccion hadn't reported back to her yet.

"He's dead." She said.

Her dream was shattered, seeing the ocean, being with Ulquiorra, all of it tattered, should she have stayed instead of him, what then, could she have changed this tragedy. She was always one to control her emotions, but now, now she wanted nothing more than to cry.

"I-Is this my punishment for serving Aizen," she looked down in sorrow," is this his, punishment for wanting to be free?" asked Harribel. This is the first time that Harribel actually wanted to cry, but before she could Mila appeared.

"Harribel-sama." Said Mila. Harribel got her composure back and looked at Mila.

"Mila, have you found any survivors?" she asked. Mila nodded.

"Yes, Loly and Menoly, they say they want to join." Said Mila. Harribel sighed.

"Fine, but only if they stay out of trouble, we don't need more bloodshed." Said Harribel. Mila nodded.

"Yes, I-I'll tell them." Said Mila, but before Mila could leave Harribel had to say something.

"I'm sorry about Tousen." Said Harribel. Mila stopped, but she didn't turn around.

"I don't know what you mean." Said Mila, she then walked away with a waterfall of tears flowing from her eyes. Harribel then leaned against the wall and sank down to the floor, she hugged her knees and began to cry, no one would see her for the rest of the day.

Months later

Forest of Menos

A bright light dies down revealing the should be dead Ulquiorra, he is in utter shock, but he does not show it, he feels a wellspring of power that he did not have before. He was sure he had died, he know he had died, but he was not. He looked and saw that a large dog Hollow and an arrancar were before him, that's when he remembered Harribel.

"Harribel." He thought

He wanted to see her, he knew it had nothing to do with an order, he just wanted to see her again. He looks and saw that the arrancar had jumped back in fear.

"W-Who are you?" asked the arrancar.

"I don't know what number you are, but I am the 4th Espada Ulquiorra Schiffer." Said Ulquiorra
