Hi everyone!

I know, I know, I deserve to be hanged for abandoning you for -cringes- almost two years? Geez, time has flown by. I know by now you've probably long forgotten about this little story of mine – and if you haven't, you've likely just recently discovered it. Well there are a few very good reasons for it being so long;

1.) The last chapter I posted was during my first semester of my freshman year of college. As anyone who has gone on to university can tell you, it was hectic and didn't leave me much energy to think of anything I could write.

2.) I've actually not been back to school and am working. Last summer I found out that I didn't get enough scholarship money to be able to reasonably afford going back to school. So I've been working 30-35 hours a week in a retail position and as anyone in retail can tell you, it is draining. Granted I'm not technically working full time, but it is still exhausting. Working retail makes you lose all faith in humanity. Being an adult is...not as fun as it's made to seem on the TV when you're a kid.

3.) Looking back at the quality of writing in this story makes me absolutely shudder with distaste. Even though I haven't been writing something of length to be posted, the little tangents I share with McStaken (previously SwordStitcher) have more quality in one paragraph than Liberate does in the entirety of its being. It's hard to look back on this and think that I wrote it. So it's been due for an update/upgrade.

4.) This is the least excusable reason. I am an incredibly lazy person. There, I said it. I have absolutely no strong will, no ability to force myself to write, because everything always seems crappier when I force it out.

Anyway, you might be wondering why I've posted this as the last chapter of Liberate. Well, that would be because I'm wanting to get back to work with Victor and Evelyn. I know, it's about damn time. I cannot make up my mind though, because I have a few ideas, and that is where you guys come in. What would you rather see?

A.) A Gotham version of Liberate in which Evelyn is inserted into the plotlines of the television show and has to survive there.

Or

B.) An absolute update/re-haul of the ArkhamVerse story you know and love.

Tell me in the reviews which you'd prefer and why, or if you'd like to see both, and I will try my hardest to get something started for you guys, I promise. I'm authorizing McStaken to slap me silly if I don't.

With love,

LDEddy
