Hailey's P.o.V.
I walked into Greek a couple minutes before the bell rang. I looked for my friends. We all had 4th hour Greek class.
They were all sitting in the corner. The desks are in pairs of two. Henry and Pyralis (Pie-ra-liss), Haileyana (or Ana. Ah-na) and Jessica, Bella, and Percabeth.
Let me explain something. Henry and Jessica are dating, and Pyralis and Haileyana are dating. Bella and I don't have boyfriends, but Bella says she likes someone from her camp, and I like Percy. But sadly, he is dating Annabeth, hence the name Percabeth.
I walked over and sat by Bella. The girls greeted me enthusiastically, while the boys grunted, and Percabeth was in their own little world; staring into each other's eyes.
Don't get me wrong, I like Percy, but I'm a HUGE Percabeth shipper. I even would have made them their own website, but a group called the 'Aphrodite Chicks' already did.
I know, weird, right?
Anyway, the teacher, Mr. Miller, walked in just as the bell rang.
Mr. Miller is a cool guy. He's only like, 27, so he understands that kids don't like homework on the weekends, so he doesn't give us any. I can't say that much for the other teachers though. He has brown hair that sticks up a little, sideburns, a beard, and a little mustache. His beard isn't long though, I barely comes off his chin. He's got hazel-ish, brown-ish, yellow-ish, green-ish eyes. And he says he's German. He's really loud and funny, and always tries to make his classes fun. He always wears a polo shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. Some of the girls in my grade even say he's cute. Gross.
"Okay class, I know we're all extremely interesting, but pay attention." Mr. Miller said.
Percabeth didn't pay attention. Mr. Miller sighed, walking over to them with a tennis ball in his hand.
"Okay Percabeth, I know you two love each other, but please pay attention to my class. You can do that at Camp." He said with a smirk.
Did I forget to mention that he went to that special camp with Percy and Annabeth, and they knew each other personally?
Percabeth didn't even acknowledge him, while the class was snickering.
He sighed again, and bounced the tennis ball in between their faces. They pulled away from looking in each other's eyes, and looked up at Mr. Miller blushing.
Percy glared at him, "You and I both know that there is no need to pay attention."
Mr. Miller laughed, "You are the ones who chose to come to school, and not stay at Camp. It was not my choice to teach you. In fact, I thought about going to a different school when I heard you two troublemakers were going to be here."
Annabeth huffed indignantly, "Hey, we both know that Percy is the only one who is a troublemaker."
"Hey!" Percy said indignantly.
The class laughed.
"Okay, okay. Back to class, people. Today we're learning about Hermes. He's the eleventh Olympian, and my personal favorite."
Percy snickered at that. "I wonder why," I heard him whisper. Annabeth giggled.
Mr. Miller glared at them.
"Hermes is the Greek god of roads, speed, messengers, commerce, travel, thieves, merchants, athletes, and mail deliverers," he continued. "His Roman counterpart is Mercury, and his symbol is the caduceus."
Mr. Miller continued his rant on Hermes. I kinda sorta zoned out. It's not like I don't like his classes, it's just, and well I don't really know.
"Percy, Annabeth, why don't you come up here and give us a demonstration of speaking Greek?" Mr. Miller asked. Well, his rant must be over.
Percy groaned and dragged Annabeth and himself up to the front of the room.
"Γιατί πρέπει να το κάνουμε αυτό και πάλι;" (Why do we have to do this again?) Percy asked.
"Επειδή Jess μας είπε να." (Because Jess told us to.) Annabeth replied.
"Τι σου έχω πει σχετικά με την κλήση μου από την πρώτη μου όνομα;" (What have I told you about calling me by my first name?) Mr. Miller asked with a smile on his face.
"Ω, έλα! Κανείς δεν μπορεί να καταλάβει τι λέμε." (Oh, come on! Nobody can understand what we're saying.) Percy complained.
"Ναι, μπορώ." (Yes I can.) Annabeth said.
"Αχ, χα χα." (Oh, ha ha.) Percy and Mr. Miller said at the same time.
Annabeth started laughing while Percy and Mr. Miller looked at each other weirdly.
"You can go sit down now. . ." Mr. Miller said awkwardly.
The class burst into a fit of giggles.
