Author Note: Some young Emma magic? Yesh please!

"Em, wake up," Regina said standing over the young girl's bed. The servant had called Regina in after she couldn't get Emma to budge from her bed, but hey that's how teens act.

Yes, Emma was a teenager today, thirteen. Sweet Em who Regina had been in charge of since she was four was thirteen today. It was crazy.

"Yeah, I'm up, I'm up," the blonde muffled into a pillow and applying a wave to signal Regina to leave.

"It doesn't look like your up," she replied grabbing the comforter and pulling it off.

"Hey! That was rude, now I'm cold," Em whined.

"Then get up and get dressed, birthday girl."

Em's head popped up, "It's my birthday!"

"Took you long enough," Regina laughed.

"OMGOSH, It's my birthday!" The blonde jumped out of her bed and was opening the door for Regina to leave, "Scoot! I need to get dressed, It's my birthday!"

"Got it, Got it. What's today again?" Regina asked half way out the door.

"My birthday, now out!"

"Oh, almost forgot for a second."

"Yes, we all now your old, now out!"

"You're funny."

With that Regina left, without another word- you'd think that Regina would be mad, right? Well magic keeps her young, so no, she wasn't mad or offended.

FLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH FORWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD

"Are you only eating bacon, Dearie?"

"It's my birthday, you can't question me," the replied was overly happy which made Rumple smile.

"Lucky we have you, Em. We almost forget and then you remind us," Regina said jokingly.

"Hate you," Emma sing-songed.

"Love you, too," Regina said.

Breakfast went great, it was delicious and not once did Emma stop smiling. Now it was time for presents.

Emma always got new dresses, a new vanity set and some new hair bows. Though it's not like she didn't always have these things, the presents Emma was excited for were the magical ones. Every birthday Regina and Rumple each gave her a magical gift.

"I want them, now, please!" Emma begged, this was always her favorite part of her birthday, not even the ball that always took place the day after could compare.

"Emma we don't have anything else," Regina said, acting really serious.

Emma's face visibly fell and she sat completely back in her chair looking let down, "Oh."

"But I do have something to tell you, Dearie."

"What," she said.

"Regina and I are taking on a new apprentice."

"Cool," she replied sounding completely bored now.

"Yeah, she's been asking us for years to let her do magic," Regina added.

Emma had begged them for years, ever since they found out she had magic when she was nine or ten, "Who is it," she asked.

"Who begs Rumple and I to teach her magic?"

"I don't know anyone who does that," Emma whined.

"Since this person was nine, Dearie."

That's when it clicked, Emma's present was her learning magic, "Wait, really?"

"Really, Em." Regina said.

"Seriously!" Emma's smile was glowing again.

"Yes, Dearie, were going to teach you magic."
