She opened her eyes with a groan, and shut them very quickly. She had a serious migraine, she could feel every heart beat behind her eyes. What the hell happened? Dammit that hurts… why did… Ohhhh, right…That little bastard. Naruto had actually beat her at her own game. Damn thats depressing.

Ino opened her eyes again forcing through the pain. First thing she noticed was absolute blackness. Must have been out for hours! Right about then she noticed the slight snoring to her left. Naruto grunted in his sleep and started mumbling something about, "Ramen… should I have miso…. Or pork… Hehehe why not both!". She rolled her eyes wincing as she did so. He is an idiot. But, she decided after a brief moment, he is my idiot. That being said, or thought rather, she scooted closer somehow working her way under his arm and putting her head on his chest. With a smile on her face she thought to herself before the grips of sleep took her, I could get used to this.

"So what gives?" Kiba asked. Yugito just glanced backwards before simply shrugging her shoulders. "What?" The two were walking through the village. It was just starting to get dark and the bars and taverns were just stating to open up for business, some already having customers surprisingly.

He shook his head in confusion. "I thought you were hunting naruto? What gives?" He asked again. This time she just waved her hand dismissively.

"Eh, I lost interest." He waited for more but that seemed all she was going to say on the matter. He was started to get annoyed before a new thought occurred to him.

"Where are we going anyway?" That got a little more of a reaction, she smirked and making eye contact briefly, "You will see," she replied before looking away again. He gulped to himself. I don't like that… mischievous look she had. It reminded me of Naruto when he is about to make somebodies life miserable. She seemed to be looking for something until she suddenly changed direction grinning victoriously. She turned around and motioned for him to follow before ducking into an alley. Kiba looked around nervously checking to see if anyone was watching before walking into it himself. It was dark but he could barely make out her pale blonde hair in the moon light up ahead. Kiba hurried to catch up, and when he did Yugito stopped suddenly almost causing him to run into her.

She laughed at his obvious displeasure, having heard him swear under his breath. Before he could say anything about it the jinchuuriki knocked three times loudly on the wall in front of them. Nothing happened. Kiba sweat dropped, is this woman nuts? At least until a patch in the wall slid open leaving only a pair of dark eyes in its place. "Name?" demanded a deep gruff voice. Yugito simply replied, "Yugito Nii and guest." There was a moment of silence before the hole slid shut with brick again. Then a passageway crumbled into existence.

Kiba couldn't help but feel slightly hesitant by this. After all, he was an Inuzuka and they loved the wide open air in nature. However being closed in on and tight spaces freak him out. Good thing I left Akamaru in our room. He would be freaking out. Yugito noticed his hesitation and with a falsely cheery voice, "Awwww is the big bad mutt afraid to go in there?"

Kiba's eye brow twitched dangerously and grated out his response with a simple, "Lets go Cat lady."

"If you insist mutt," she replied cheekily. Without another moments hesitation, she plunged into the darkness. Its now or never. With that thought he passed through the opening himself.

First thing Naruto noticed when he woke was a pressure on his chest. Instead of opening his eyes, he just simply smiled knowing what it was. The quiet little snores coming from her gave it away too. He chuckled mentally before edging his way out from under her and somehow managing to not disturb her sleep. He realized just how lucky he was watching her sleep. He loved everything about her, they way her normally perfect bangs now frizzy and messy from sleep. Above all, he loved how peaceful she looked.

Not wanting creep her out by being caught staring at her he moved away from the bed in an effort to find his pouch. He smashed his toe off of the bed stumbling around in the dark, letting out a silent curse. Being slightly more cautious this time, he finally found it along with his jacket laying at the foot of the bed. Rummaging through it he found the scroll he was looking for. It was labeled Family Jutsu's. The spiky blonde had created it some time ago so that he would have something to pass down to his children, and their children and so forth.

I'm really gonna have to think of a better name for it at some point, he thought to himself. He didn't have a lot in it quite yet, a few wind jutsu, the rasengan and all of its variations of course, and some of the sage art he had learned. I really need to work on creating more jutsu's, so I can add more to the list. And seals… I not very good with them, but I will get better. With that, he placed it back into his pouch for safe keeping. Now on to the training.

Towards the back right of the cave there is a passage way that leads to the training room. He made his way there hoping to get make a good amount of progress with his training. Once there he created his normal twenty-five clones only this time had them pair up one on one. They needed to get his current jutsu in the works down sooner rather than later. Well, he can use it, it just takes way too much chakra when he does, and seeing how he is a chakra powerhouse it's not usable for anyone else if it takes this much from him.

He looked at all of his clones before nodding, not needing to voice his desires. They all took up stances in front of their partners. Naruto moved in front of the last clone that needed a partner and closed his eyes in concentration. Once he was completely calm his eyes snapped open and he began attempting his newest creation. After a minute or so his clone dispelled from running out of chakra as he collapsed onto the floor in exhaustion, picking through his clones memories while he recovered.

Dammit. I can really only use it a couple times in rapid succession. There has to be a way to perfect it… He was brought out of his thoughts by the sound of a kunai whistling through the air. Instinctively rolling to his left and leaping to his feet he whipped around to see a grinning Ino. She was smirking, and he could be wrong, but he could swear there was a slight sadistic look in her eyes as she put a hand on her hip. "Can I join? I could use a good spar, and I still owe you for… yesterday." She finished looking more than a little annoyed. He grinned hearing her pause though. Straightening up he held his hand up and motioned for her to come closer.

"Bring it." Narrowing her eyes at him she dropped the smirk and settled into her taijutsu stance. Neither moved for the longest time, until Naruto put his hands in his pocket and he pulled out a book. Much like how Kakashi had during his first test with his genin team so long ago. Her eye brow twitched dangerously. Seemingly not paying attention he fought to keep the grin off of his face. This was too easy pissing her off.

He lost his humor very quickly realizing she was rushing him very quickly. Throwing the book to the side he leapt backwards attempting to put some space between them. Seeing this jumped up and spun throwing four kunai at him before landing and continuing her rush. Having no choice but to jump over them since they were thrown with amazing accuracy, he did so. He noticed her grin a moment too late though as she met him mid jump with a spinning heel kick. He blocked with his right forearm grunting in pain at the power behind it. He retaliated by throwing a quick jab at her abdomen. Ino brought up her knee blocking it easily. Separating for the moment as they hit the floor, they paused for a half second before exploding towards each other. Neither one could really get the upper hand though. While naruto had more power and reach, Ino was faster and more flexible. She displayed this multiple times very narrowly escaping a few blows.

However deciding to kick it up a notch she made an all too familiar hand sign, before a shadow clone popped into existence wrapping its arms around Naruto from behind. He gasped in surprise before seeing Ino's foot coming straight for his face. He managed to move back just enough to dodge the kick while at the same time rotating and throwing the clone into her making them both tumble to the floor in a heap before it disappeared with a "poof". Damn she almost got me there, I need to stop playing around. Not having to wait long before she was back at him again, getting more and more creative as she went. He grimaced knocking aside a particularly nasty elbow, before going on the offensive himself.

Suddenly he dropped down and kicked her legs out before jumping up and over her doing a flip and landing behind her. Ino rolled with it pulling out a kunai to meet his with a loud clang. She grinned at him victoriously since she had another pointed right in front of his gut.

"I win!" She exclaimed happily. Until he shook his head grinning himself and she felt cold steel against her throat.

"Not exactly," came the voice of the shadow clone behind her. She sighed in defeat, before pulling away with a smile. She heard the clone dispel and Naruto put his kunai away. "Damn Ino! You have come a long way! I never realized you were this good at taijutsu!" Blushing slightly from his praise she smiled at him. "I wasn't until I asked around had people help me. I needed to be stronger, so I got stronger."

Naruto rubbed his right arm tenderly, "No kidding. Some of those kicks hurt and especially that last elbow." She merely shrugged in response. "You had it coming. Now where's the kitchen in this place I'm starving." He just grinned sheepishly scratching the back of his head.

"You only have instant-ramen here don't you."

"Maybe."

Throwing her hands up she just turned and walked away grumbling about a "ramen obsession".

It was complete darkness as soon as the opening slid shut. All of a sudden torches started igniting leading a down a spiraling stone staircase. It was just like it was out of a classic horror movie. Ancient stone walls and ceiling leaving you feeling trapped. That is a major problem. Kiba had a slight shudder pass through his body, and seeing Yugito giggling about it stopped. Rolling his eyes he asked, "So what exactly are you taking me to? Should I be prepared to see some blood sacrificing or something?"

Now it was her turn to roll her eyes, "No mutt it's not. Just come on." She turned to walk down the stairs and not hearing anything behind her stopped. With a groan she grabbed his wrist and started pulling him down the stairs. Kiba huffed and yanked his arm back grumbling to himself but continued walking down.

A comfortable silence fell over the two besides the sounds of there footsteps echoing. After a minute or two Yugito broke the silence.

"So I have a question for you." She stated.

"Shoot."

"That pill you took earlier, what was it?", she asked with a glance over her shoulder. Kiba hesitated not knowing if he should tell her or not. I am not really supposed to be disclosing clan secrets. However Naruto seems to trust her fully and I don't sense anything off about her myself. Eh why not?

Clearing his throat he answered, "Well to be honest I'm not really supposed to tell anyone outside of the clan about this but I don't sense anything off about you and Naruto trusts you completely so here goes. Its basically a variation of a soldier pill. And I don't really understand what sets it apart from it, but it acts very differently. Instead of replenishing some of your lost stamina it actually takes a small portion of your chakra and makes it kind of super charged for lack of better terms. Your chakra becomes more potent for a short time, but the time limit is different for everyone. Normally its five to ten minutes but for whatever reason I get fifteen to twenty minutes."

Kiba paused letting that soak in before continuing, "However there is a catch. If your chakra is too low and you take one, yes it will still work but it will take too much and once the effects wear off you will most likely die. Best case your chakra coils are forever destroyed beyond repair."

Yugito's eyes opened wide at that and she stopped suddenly nearly making him run into her. Again. Swearing at her, "Dammit woman would you stop doing that?" She ignored this, for now anyway, and asked, "How do you know what it does to someone if their chakra is too low?"

The dark haired boys eyes went darker at that and his face impassive. "I know personally what it can do to someone." He replied with a tinge of sadness in his voice. Concerned she asked, "What do you mean?"

Looking down and shoving his hands into his pockets all he said was, "It killed my dad." Unable to say anything her mouth dropped open a little. Kiba didn't give her much chance to before he continued either way.

"We got infiltrated one night. I was only five or six at the time, and got abducted out of my bed while I was sleeping. We didn't know who it was at the time. But long story short my father gave chase. Being an inuzuka tracked us and caught up just as my captor had reached the forest outside the village. But knowing this my father was ambushed. Fifteen of them jumped out of the trees. He got through five of them before getting too overwhelmed. He had to rely on our most chakra consuming clan techniques, tearing through the last of them until all that was left was my captor. But he was exhausted and could barely stand. He put one of the pills in his mouth not realizing what he was doing to himself in the process. As he faced off against the final enemy something started going wrong, he started coughing up blood as the pills effects continued to draw the very last remaining chakra out of his system. Thinking he had won the enemy jumped at him one last time readying the killing blow. Until my dad used my fang over fang technique to literally rip him in half. Thats what did it supposedly. The last thing I saw before he collapsed was his smile. Come to find out it was the hidden cloud, not three months after they tried to kidnap Hinata."

There was a long silence, and he was about to look up to see what she was doing when he felt a pair of arms wrap around him. Too stunned to do anything he just stood there as she tightened the hug and buried her face in his shoulder. Another silence had settled and then he heard her sniffle. Is she crying? For me? But why? Interrupting his thoughts was a teary eyed Yugito who had pulled away and bowed to him, speaking formally, "I am so sorry! My village used to be such a terrible place, but Bee and Raikage-sama changed that. However we have still committed some unthinkable deeds and on behalf pf my village I apologize for what we have done for to your family."

Shocked was probably the least descriptive word for how he felt right now. Shaking his head to snap himself out of it he looked at her before speaking.

"Yugito, please don't bow for me. It is all in the past and it's not like you did it personally."

"That doesn't excuse our actions. We should have never done su-" She was cut off by being pulled into a hug herself. Kiba pulled her tighter and felt her wrap her arms around his waist returning the gesture. "Thank you…," Was all he could manage. They stayed like that for a minute or so until they realized they were still holding the other. Separating awkwardly Kiba coughed before saying, "Now come on cat lady you gonna show me this thing or what?" Punching him lightly in the arm eliciting a "Ow what was that for?" in response, she said, "Lets go dog breath I don't have all day."

Once more turning around leading a grumbling Inuzuka down the stairs. This time feeling slightly less reluctant than before about the blonde haired jinchuuriki.

Hey guys, sorry for the long wait. A lot of things happened recently with my grandfather passing and my car breaking down and what not. But i do plan on writing more and finishing this story eventually. If i have the time i may starting re-doing my earlier chapters. Not changing the story just expanding upon them and making them less rushed with more information. But anyway heres the next chapter and i know it a little short but I just wanted to give you guys something since its been awhile.
