A/N: I'm going to finish this story if it's the last thing I do! Sorry for disappearing. Valkubus in this last season was a bit disheartening (besides that one kiss fest on Yule). Anyway. Here we go! Quick re-cap: Our friends are about to get in trouble again.

Kenzi sighed. "I hate evil lairs. You know there won't be sunlight." She shivered, making a sad face. "And sometimes there are bones on the floor."

"Well, what do you recommend? Sending a text for him to meet us at your favorite café?" Tamsin countered, putting on her weapon vest.

"There's an idea. Then if he tragically takes me to another dimension, I could at least be holding a mug of coffee." Kenzi looked off into space. "I could be the only person in that dimension that ever even had coffee." Her face made a sly grin. "I should bring a coffee plant with me! I could invent coffee in another world!"

Bo shook her head at her best friend. "Kenzi, you will not be tragically sent to another dimension to somehow create a coffee empire. NO ONE is leaving this dimension. I will make sure of that."

"There's only one bracelet, Bo." Kenzi's face was now serious.

"But we have my succubus power, a siren, a wolf and one badass valkyrie." Bo winked at Tamsin who rolled her eyes in response. "And Kenzi, you are a power witch. We can do this!"

"She's right," Hale added, smiling sweetly at Kenzi. "We'll get through this. I've been working on shielding—incorporating it with my siren skills."

Kenzi looked at Hale, releasing her own gentle smile towards him. He gave a playful wink back and then continued. "One thing is if I lose my concentration, the shield breaks."

"I got your back," Dyson said. He grabbed on to siren's shoulder.

"Good. I'll need it. I won't be able to do any other defensive spells while I'm casting my shield. And it is only big enough for a person or two."

Tamsin's eyebrows furrowed in thought. "Could you focus your shield on him so he can't shift anyone out."

"Maybe. But I don't know how his power works," Hale replied.

"We will just have to do our best, which I know is awesome," Bo said, looking around to all her friends. She felt a wave of gratitude that showed on her face. "Alright then, I guess it's time."

Tamsin walked over to Bo and grabbed her arm. Kenzi followed. Bo nodded to Dyson and Hale, who now also had their arms linked.

"Off to the lair!" Kenzi yelled with a fist in the air.

Tamsin huffed, but there was a trace of a smile on her lips. "Let me do the apparating, Kenzi."

There wasn't time for Bo to adjust her eyes. As soon as they landed, spells were flying everywhere and she was hit with the Cruciatus Curse. She screamed in pain as she fell to the floor. Thankfully, it didn't last long. Bo couldn't see Tamsin casting her doubt across the room, but she felt her pain subside enough that she could get back on her feet. Her eyes were blue and furious. She scanned the room for her friends among the fallen bodies. Kenzi was lifting Hale up from the ground. Dyson's eyes were yellow and his arms were out in a defensive stance. If Bo was feeling her normal self, she would have wondered how his shirt came off so fast. The wolf could not keep his damn shirt on like a normal person.

But Bo was not herself. When she released her voice, it's deep, grumbling tone didn't sound like her. "COME TO ME! I WILL SHOW YOU PAIN!"

"Oh shit. Tamsin, I knew you powered Bo up, but this is different," Kenzi murmured, looking at the Valkyrie with stunned eyes.

"I don't know what this is, but get your ass over here next to me. ALL of you," Tamsin snapped.

"Got it," Kenzi whispered, complying immediately.

Dyson and Hale weren't as quick to move. "Listen to the Skullanator….Trust me." Kenzi rolled her eyes at their pause and motioned to them with her arms.

When they finally slowly moved behind Tamsin, Hale could have sworn he heard Kenzi mumble "Dumb boys" under her breath. There wasn't time to discuss it though, because the man they waited for decided to answer Bo's invitation.

A tall, thin man approached them from the dark. But those weren't his most defining features, Tamsin realized. He looked old—really old. That was never a good sign. What the valkyrie learned over her two lifetimes was that the older a foe was, the more powerful his skill.

"Who's the skinny Santa?" Kenzi whispered in Tamsin's ear.

"Shut it, Kenzi," Tamin scolded, but she grabbed the witch's hand and whispered back, "When and if I ever say run. I fucking mean it and you better run."

But it was Bo not Kenzi that answered Tamsin in an earth-shaking roar. "IT WILL BE HIM THAT WILL WANT TO RUN!" The succubus stepped forward and the old villain smiled wickedly.
