Hi guys. Probably thought I was dead since I haven't updated this story since Halloween ^^'. I apologize for the long wait with no word, but a lot has come up.

Though I'm sure that you are all disappointed about this not being a new one-shot, I'm sorry to say that there may not be anymore updates for this story. At least, not for a very long time. There are multiple reasons for this, one being that I want to get away from the Mario fandom for awhile, as I've been writing almost nonstop for it and I would like to take a break and move into some of other fandoms. Another reason is that I don't have that much time to work on one-shots like these a lot since I rather spend more time on my multiple chapter stories, and it isn't like life isn't going to get less complicated from here.

Thirdly, and for the most important reason, is the fact that I'm trying to step away from writing fanfiction and moving on to original work. After I finish the three big fanfics I'm working on now, I will be less active on FFN (I love this site too much to fully leave it XD) and become more active on my FictionPress account, where I will start publishing original work and stories that I will try to get published one day. I've been on this site for years now, working up my writing skills and having tons of success. And after all I've written, I believe it is time I start building the next big step in my writing career.

Now with that said, I'm not saying I'm done writing fanfiction completely, as maybe once in the blue moon I might write another one-shot. But I thought I would tell you all what is going on and why I've been neglecting to update.
