Feel All Girly

Jim is not a sentimental person. He has emotions, obviously, and sometimes he lets them get the best of him, but not when someone's life is in danger and not with Spock (usually). Spock was his bond-mate, his T'hy'la, and could sense most of Jim's emotions through their bond; so he tried his best not to be overemotional. There were times when he couldn't control it. Like when Spock was hurt, or Bones was pissing him off (off the Bridge anyway), or...when Spock called him T'hy'la.

That word made him feel all girly, like a pre-teen girl around her crush. It was almost sickening. His heart beat out of his chest and blood filled his cheeks, among other body parts. He became all gushy and pathetic, stammering and tripping over words, incoherent and simply foolish.

"Is something wrong, T'hy'la?"

Jim groaned softly. He and Spock were lying in his room, snuggling -Jim shuddered at the word- on the bed. Spock had his sensitive fingers curled in Jim's blond hair, holding him.

'Girly.' Jim thought.

Damn touch telepaths. "Nothing." Jim mumbled.

"James."

Jim sighed, "When you call me T'hy'la. I go all girly."

"Impossible Jim, as you are male." Spock said with a raised eyebrow.

"It's an expression, Spock." Jim groaned, "But I'm serious."

"Would you prefer I not call you T'hy'la anymore?" The Commander asked. His voice and face were devoid of emotion, but his eyes looked hurt and confused.

"No!" Jim said quickly, "Now, I like when you call me T'hy'la, but..." He took a deep breath. Talking about his emotions was girly too.

"But?" Spock prompted gently, his eyes softening.

Jim groaned and planted his face against Spock's neck. "Every time you say it I go all stupid. My stomach drops and I blush and my heart pounds really hard and I lose all train of coherent thought and what little rationality I have. It makes my knees weak, my palms sweat, and my hands tremble. You felt it, right?"

"Yes Jim, I feel it." His lover replied with an oddly affectionate kiss.

Jim pulled back after a few short moments, "Furthermore-"

Spock cut him off with another kiss. 'I love you as well, T'hy'la.' He projected into the Captain's mind.

Jim decided it was worth feeling girly if this was goig to be the result.
