Chapter 12- Truth or Dare

A/N I'm so sorry about my hiatus, I really can't find time to write anymore! I just have so much to worry about, I'll try harder. You can leave story suggestions in the reviews (Only if you want)!

Amy smiled as she finished her story to Penny and Bernadette. She watched their faces as she showed them the picture of the equation Sheldon made her solve.

"Are you serious? That's do un-Sheldony." Penny said before she continued, "Did he know what it was he was making you do?"

Bernadette nodded in full anticipation.

Amy laughed to herself, she had thought this through all last night and had come to a conclusion.

"I don't think he knew what the equation would equal, but I am sure he knew how to solve it unlike what he said. Maybe something was distracting him."

Penny and Bernadette nodded in agreement, a moment of silence passed as they mulled it over. Bernadette spoke up.

"Maybe it's the whole Leonard thing, he did take it hard when he first left even if he didn't act like it. Maybe he's having Leonard withdraws..."

They all nodded once more. They all knew that Leonard leaving was hard on him, even though Leonard would already be back in a matter of months.

After they stopped talking about Sheldon, they sipped their wine and continued to gossip.

Sheldon paced around his apartment, not knowing what to do. He had gotten used to his new schedule, yet his life was still so confusing.

He still had to worry about how he is coping with Leonard's departure, Amy and their relationship, and how he would cope when Leonard came back. He did hate change.

There was still the whole how and what kind of love for who situation. He wondered if Penny had told Amy about her little outburst to her, maybe he should stop talking to her for a while as punishment. That stupid phase that still wouldn't leave his head.

"I know you have problems vocalizing things like how you love Amy"

There it was again. It would seam that had stuck with him. That reminded him of how much he needed to know what the equation and what it solved.

He did a quick internet search and was shocked at the results.

"I can't believe I was so stressed I couldn't solve a simple equation!"

He shrugged and went back to pacing.

After a couple of glasses of wine and a few phone calls confirming a sleepover, the girls were a bit tipsy.

"Okay, truth or dare?" Penny asked a bit more tipsy Amy as Bernadette watched giggling.

"Um, truth!" Amy giggled, eager for her question. Penny pondered between two questions. She picked one. He face got really serious all of a sudden.

"Do you honestly, with all your heart, think you and Sheldon will work out?"

Amy shifted uncomfortably as Bernadette leaned in eagerly.

"Honestly... yes. At least I hope, but I think so." Amy responded seriously before a huge grin spread across her face.

" How about you Bernie, Truth or dare?" Amy asked, already forgetting Penny's last question.

"Ummmmmm, Truth." She decided.

"Are you and Howard ever going to have kids?" Amy asked as Penny gasped at such a sensitive question.

"Well, at first I was sure I would never have kids but I think I might want to now. Howard is such a great guy he might have changed my mind." Bernadette responded before adding "But don't tell Howie!" as she giggled.

Amy thought about it,

It's nice how fondly Bernadette speaks of Howard. I wonder if Sheldon feels that way about me...What would it be like to have a kid, let alone a kid with Sheldon. Would Sheldon be a good father to our kids if we had them. Remember when we almost had a test tube baby, what would have happened if we did have that kid... I wonder.

Meanwhile Penny had similar yet simpler thoughts.

What would my kids look like if I had some? What if me and Leonard got married and had kids. What if I do have kids, if they will be with Leonard. What would our kids be like. I bet they would be smart and beautiful!

As the girls thought very intently about their future, the afternoon or pre-evening changed to night and everyone fell asleep with futures still in thought.
