Let me tell you a little about someone
Who emerged not so long ago
About an extraordinary creature
Who is a true and awesome hero

There is a little blue blur
Called Sonic the Hedgehog
The things he loves most
Are his friends and a good chili dog

Keeping his reputation as the fastest thing alive
Is his number one ambition
Protecting his friends and defeating his enemies
Is his daily mission

He has captured hearts of millions
Since June 23, 1991
And even after 22 years
He's still number one
