A Sweet Beginning

Prologue

"A Sweet Encounter"

It was a brand new day to go to Namimori Middle and Sawada, also known as Dame-Tsuna and the soon to be the Vongola boss, was still asleep and not wanting to wake up to face the cruel, real world.

"Uwahh!" Tsuna whined as he landed on the floor. Reborn once again kicked his beloved student to wake him up.

Tsuna glanced at Reborn still rubbing the area that was kicked by his tutor. "Reborn! What was that for? And it hurt!" Tsuna scolded his tutor like a 5 year old kid. This time Reborn, being annoyed, slapped Tsuna twice, no maybe thrice. "Hieee!" he cried.

"If you don't hurry up and run..." he paused then continued, "You'll be late and you will be bitten to death by Hibari."

Tsuna looked at the clock and widened his eyes. He immediately packed his things, dressed, and dashed down the stairs causing him to fall in his normal way. "Itaii!" He scratched his cheeks but ran as fast as he could to make on time, "I'll be going now." Reborn watched from Tsuna's room, smirking as his student nervously ran out of their house.

Hibari Kyoya was the fearsome guy and the President of the Disciplinary Committee of Namimori Middle School. Anyone who dared to destroy the peace of his beloved Namimori would be bitten to death.

As usual he was early making his rounds at the school. After making his rounds, he spent his time on the rooftop of the school. When the time for students to have their classes came, he waited for those who were late. He already bitten five boys and Tsuna was the sixth one.

"Herbivore, you're late," Hibari said as he lifted his tonfas at Tsuna, making Tsuna gasp and tremble in fear.

"Sorry, Hibari-san. I-I won't be late again. I p-promise a-and p-please d-don't bite me to death," he stuttered, making Hibari frown.

"I'll be observing you and if you're late again," he paused for suspense, "I'll be biting you to death. Go and attend your class," he told the brunet as he took his leave.

"H-hai, a-arigatou H-Hibari-s-san," Tsuna sighed in relief and ran to make up time in getting to his class.

At lunch time Tsuna found a letter on his desk. He read, "Go to the Reception Room immediately. From your great Tutor Reborn." From Reborn what am I going to do in the reception room? Reception Room! Hieee! That is where Hibari-san's office is! I don't want to go I-I don't want to die yet-

After making his decision, he folded the letter. As he did, he saw a piece of paper fall. It read, "If you don't do what the letter says, I'll be the one to bite you to death." Tsuna winced as he read the second note. "This is blackmail," he screamed but he never had a choice when it came to Reborn's orders. So, he made his way into the Reception Room, where the guy he expected is.

In the reception room, a certain skylark was sitting in his office chair with head lying on the back of the chair. He usually takes a nap in the reception room since nobody dared to disturb him. He stood up and walked over to the black sofa where he laid down and fell asleep. His head rested in his hands, while Hibird, Hibari's bird lay on his silky hair.

Tsuna, while on his way to reception room, saw his Storm Guardian and his Rain Guardian. As always Hayato was scolding Yamamoto, "You baseball bastard, don't cling on me!" Hayato smacked Yamamoto's hand.

"Maa maa. It's okay, no one's here." He smiled with 2000 watts.

Hayato was cut off by Tsuna's, "Gokudera-kun! Yamamoto-kun," as he approached his two guardians.

"Juudaime, what are you doing here?" Hayato asked.

"I just needed to do something," Tsuna answered, not wanting to tell the truth because he knows that Hayato will only force him to come with him.

"Do you want me to accompany you?"

"No, no need to do that," Tsuna said making a run into the room he was asked to go. Hayato just said okay and waved to his boss.

Tsuna, who was now in front of the said room, was shaking as he nervously knocked on the door. When no-one answered or responded to him, he just entered without thinking. I think Hibari-san is not here. Maybe he is doing his rounds and biting some intruders, Tsuna thought as he looked around, but gasped as he saw Hibari sleeping instead of glaring at him.

He took another step to look more closely at the sleeping skylark. Hibari moved a little, making Tsuna freeze. When Hibari didn't open his eyes, Tsuna took another step until he is near him.

Tsuna looked closely at Hibari's sleeping face, realizing that Hibari has long eyelashes and looks very un-scary. A smile lit his face as watched the sleeping person.

After a moment of watching, he realized that his face is millimeters away from Hibari's. Tsuna blushed and stood up. Where's Reborn? I thought he would be here… Did he just want me to see this? Tsuna thought as he glanced at Hibari's peaceful face.

"Hibari-san may be tired. Is he okay without a pillow?" he asked himself. He walked then sat beside the sleeping person. Not wanting to wake him up, he lightly put the skylark's head into his lap. Blushing, he took his phone out and took the opportunity to take a photo of Hibari. Trying to keep himself occupied, he pets his hair.

After a moment of silence, the school's bell rang and woke up Hibari. He first focused on the warmth he felt while he was sleeping. He sat up then quickly stood.

Hibari lifted his tonfas ready to attack, but he stopped at the scene before him.

Sleeping, Tsuna had Hibird on his hand and saliva coming out of his mouth (in other words, he's drooling). Hibari hid his weapons and walked towards the sleeping brunet. He smirked as he took out his phone and snapped a picture of Tsuna's sleeping, drooling face.

Tsuna slowly opened his eyes and yawned like a baby. "Sawada Tsunayoshi," a cold voice spoke.

"H-Hibari-san!" Tsuna jumped up as his eyes widened with fear.

"What business do you have here?" he asked, taking a step forward and making Tsuna step backwards.

"Reborn wanted me to be here. I-I d-don't know why."

Hibari just "hn" at his answer before asking, "Then why are you sleeping here herbivore?" as he glared at Tsuna, who is still scared.

"W-When Reborn gave me a letter, I-I came here and I-I k-knocked but no-one answered, s-so I entered and saw you ... s-sleeping... I thought maybe you needed a pillow for you to lie down, t-then I used my lap for y-you." Tsuna blushed as he told Hibari about that, "...but I-I did not do anything while you were asleep."

Another "hn" from Hibari. Hibari's non-words pissed Tsuna off.

"Then you can leave now," he walked towards the trembling boy.

"R-Really?" Tsuna asked surprised. He expected that he'd be bitten by Hibari.

"I'm not going to repeat myself, but before you go," he leaned down and licked the saliva on Tsuna's lower lip. Tsuna blushed and shrieked while Hibari just smirked, "You drooled; now you can go." A speechless and blushing Tsuna walked out of the Reception Room like nothing happened.

But when he was outside he whispered to himself, "That's so embarrassing." Still blushing, he slid down onto his knees and hid his face that he never realized could blush so much.

A baby sat on the branch of a tree near the window watching everything. What a sly baby he is…

"A Sweet Encounter is the cause of Everything."
