AN: For the Snakes and Ladders Challenge (Molly I) and If You Dare (377. Pair of knitting needles)

Molly knits, as she always does. One jumper for Arthur, for Bill, for Fleur... It's the same routine, and she busies herself, knitting until her fingers are sore.

"That's George's," she says, brushing her fingers over the bold G on the front, taking a moment to admire her handiwork.

Molly sets the jumper aside, adding it to the pile before positioning her needles once more. Her fingers begin to work again in their calm, steady motion, making a new jumper identical to the last except for the F on the front.

And then she stops, tears forming on her lower lashes as she looks at the almost finished jumper in her hands. "Fred," she whispers, reaching out to unravel the jumper.

But she can't bring herself to do it. One pluck of the yarn, and she finds herself sobbing, clinging to the jumper as though her son might appear in it.
