It had been almost two weeks since Rebekah had started playing her games with Stefan and he still hadn't gotten so much as a kiss since that first day in the cafeteria. If she was trying to give him a taste of his own medicine, then he thought that he had more than learned his lesson.

When she took him back to her place after school one day and began to mash her lips against his, Stefan was more than a little surprised, but also too glad to even let himself question it. She quickly led him to her bedroom, where she immediately shoved him back onto the bed.

Rebekah removed Stefan's shirt and tossed it onto the bed beside them before she returned to passionately kissing him.

Several seconds later, she removed her lips again and brought her attention to his chest as she began to unbutton his jeans. She pulled the zipper undone and then laid on top of him as she brought her mouth back to his.

As she did so, she reached beside them and grabbed Stefan's shirt off of the bed before pulling her body off of his and quickly dashing out of the room at an inhuman speed.

Stefan sighed dramatically and lay back on the bed in defeat as he thought to himself that he really should have seen this coming, or at the very least considered the possibility of it happening.

A minute or two passed by before he did his pants back up and got up to go find the blonde.

He barely made it to the bottom of the stairs before he practically ran straight into someone who was coming out of one of the nearby rooms.

"Oh great," Kol said with a heavy tone of sarcasm as he glared over at the other man. "My least favourite Salvatore is wandering around my home half-naked."

Stefan wasn't quite sure of what exactly to say. It turned out that he didn't actually have to say anything though, since Kol just pushed straight past him on his way out the front door.

The youngest Salvatore stared at the door for a moment or two after Kol left before he returned to his search for Rebekah. He almost immediately found her sitting in the living room with the article of clothing still in her hand.

"Okay, you've made your point," Stefan told her. "And I hope you're having fun because I just passed Kol and I'm pretty sure that he wants to kill me even more than he already did."

"He's just lucky that I left you with your pants," Rebekah commented with an amused grin.

"I'm glad you're enjoying this," He replied. "Now can I have my shirt back?"

Rebekah pretended to consider for a moment before a teasing smirk formed on her lips and she told him, "I don't think so."

Stefan crossed his arms and shook his head a little to convey that he was displeased with her response.

"What? I like you so much better without your shirt on," She teased happily.

Stefan's lip twitched up a little at that before he lunged towards her in an attempt to grab the shirt out of her hands. Unfortunately for him, the Original had fast reflexes and quickly pulled her arm out of his reach before he could get to it.

Stefan hesitated for a moment before he lunged for it again, this time not stopping when she began to pull it away. As she struggled to hold it further away from him, Rebekah began to laugh while squirming her way off of the couch.

Several long seconds passed by before Stefan finally managed to catch her by pinning her to the ground, with his body hovering just above hers. Although Rebekah's laughter died down after a few seconds, the grin still remained on her lips as she made a feeble attempt to escape his grasp.

"I love you so much," Stefan told her, his voice just above a whisper. He didn't even realize what he was saying until the words had already left his mouth.

"What?" Rebekah asked as she stared up at him.

She had been so absorbed in the game, trying to fool herself, as well as Stefan, into thinking that she was okay without hearing those words, that she had forgotten just how much she had needed to hear them.

"I love you," He repeated a little louder.

Rebekah hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to react. When Stefan moved in to kiss her, she found herself instinctively bringing her lips up to close the distance between them instead of pulling away.

They kissed hungrily for several minutes before they finally parted, their foreheads still remaining touching.

"I love you too," Rebekah told him.

Bonnie Bennett woke up to the sound of her alarm and quickly reached over to shut it off. She smiled to herself as she rolled over to find Kol lying dead asleep next to her.

She decided let the vampire be as she left the room to go take a shower before school.

Kol rolled into the empty space on the other side of the bed and opened his eyes just in time to see Bonnie pulling a clean shirt on over her head.

"Looks like I missed the show," He commented with a sleepy smile as he sat up. "Why didn't you wake me up?"

"You were sleeping and I didn't think that there was any point in making you wake up when I'm just leaving to go to school anyways," She responded.

"Sure there is," He told her. "I get to see you before you go, so it makes the day a little less horribly long."

She turned around to face him to find that he had gotten up out of the bed. As he brought a hand to her side and pressed his lips against hers, she eagerly kissed him back. As the kiss deepened, she brought her arms up and wrapped them tightly around his neck.

Several long seconds passed before she reluctantly pulled back from him, her arms remaining resting on him, although her grip had severely loosened.

"I have to go," She told him. "I can't be late."

"Fine," Kol agreed surprisingly easily.

As she walked towards her bedroom door, Kol quickly got dressed at full vampire speed and then caught up to her before she even reached the doorway. When he placed a hand on her shoulder and she turned back to face him, he quickly picked her up and tossed her over his shoulder in a fireman's carry.

"Kol, what are you doing?" She demanded in a slightly nervous tone. "Put me down."

Before she had the chance to say anything further, he began to run at an inhuman speed and she had to clench her eyes shut to keep herself from getting nauseous.

When she felt him set her down, leaving his hands on her hips, even after she was securely on the ground, Bonnie timidly opened her eyes to find Kol beaming at her.

She looked around to realize that they were standing behind the high school.

"Now you aren't going to be late," Kol commented proudly. "In fact, you even have some time to spare before first class."

Bonnie rolled her eyes a little as she sarcastically asked, "And I wonder how I'll ever spend it."

"I've got an idea or two," Kol responded.

"So do I," She replied before bringing her lips back to his.

Nobody was overly surprised when Stefan and Rebekah walked into the cafeteria hand in hand. He'd been following her around like a lost puppy dog for weeks and it had become very apparent just how inevitable it was that they were going to end up back together.

Katherine was the first one to say anything, since she immediately sat down next to them and commented, "About damn time."

"Says the one who can't even get Elijah to speak to her," Rebekah retorted with a slight smirk, although she was more than a little surprised to find herself feeling a little sorry for the doppelganger.

Her pity didn't last very long though, since Katherine immediately began to laugh arrogantly.

"Oh, is that what he's telling you?" She commented. "It's cute how oblivious your family can be when you're too wrapped up in your own problems to even notice the obvious. Getting Elijah back was easier than I was expecting. I had him in my bed by the end of the Founder's Day Kick-Off Party. Turns out he's not too good at just one danceā€¦ Or just one anything for that matter."

"Am I really that dull?" Klaus questioned with a slight smirk.

He had turned his back to Caroline for less than a minute before he looked back to find her curled up, half asleep, on his bed.

"No, I'm just tired," She responded, lazily watching him from the bed.

"And to think that you couldn't even fall asleep in here at first," He commented in an amused tone. "Now I can't keep you awake."

"Hey, I'm awake," She argued as she lifted her head and rested it on the headboard in order to prove her point. "And that's because I don't do well with new beds. Your bed isn't new anymore."

"True," Klaus agreed with a wide grin. "You've grown quite familiar with it."

"You know, I'm not that tired," Caroline told him suggestively as she gathered a sudden burst of energy to pull him down onto the bed with her.

The next morning when Caroline walked into the kitchen, Kol smirked knowingly at her. It didn't matter how many times she spent the night there, Kol still had the same childish reaction each and every morning.

As she rolled her eyes at him, Kol's facial expression suddenly transformed into an uncharacteristically serious one.

"Can I ask you an important question?" He asked her.

"What?" Caroline asked him.

"I've been wondering about this for a while actually," Kol told her to try and drag out the suspense for at least a little bit longer.

Caroline found her suspicions growing as she exasperatedly asked him, "What is it?"

"Are you attracted to my whole family, or is Elijah just the odd one out?" He asked with a wide smirk. "I mean since you apparently find me and Nik so irresistible."

She shook her head and laughed a little as she told him, "Shut up."

"Oh, come on," Kol pleaded, his smirk not faltering. "Please? It keeps me up at night just desperately wondering whether or not you find my dear brother Elijah attractive or not."

"Fine, the order goes Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, empty space, and then you," Caroline responded with a teasing grin. "Besides, you're dating my best friend. And if I was breaking you two up to be with one of you, I'd choose Bonnie."

"Fair enough," Kol responded with a grin. "She's pretty damn attractive."

The End.

REVIEW ANSWERS:

redbudrose: The ones that I was referring to made their tone pretty clear, like one that literally said that if I wrote any more that people would scratch their eyes out... It doesn't really seem like that's the general consensus though, so I mean if they want to scratch their eyes out, then that's their choice.
