I woke up on Alicia's bunk bed in her room as the sun shone through the blinds. Alicia was sound asleep and her alarm clock wouldn't go off for another half an hour, so I decided to take a walk.

I changed into sweatpants and an American Eagle sweatshirt, putting my hair into a ponytail and slipping on a pair of Alicia's running shoes. I was soon out of the house, my phone in my pocket just in case.

The museum opening was the usual with the cool art pieces, nice art lovers, cute art lovers, and so on and so forth. Although, the usual cheese and crackers was replaced with fruit-kabobs, marshmallows, a fondue fountain, and a chocolate fountain. Mom had told me to go home early, since it was a school night, so I ended up staying at Alicia's house.

We'd spent the remainder of the night doing homework and went to bed at midnight. I liked mornings, so despite any lack of sleep, I always got up pretty early.

Alicia's house was far from town and was huge. It was like a small mansion in the middle of near nowhere. There were lots of roads, but not many nearby stores or anything. Her parents were rich and I rarely saw them, but they were nice. They lived near the lake among lots of trees, but it wasn't bad.

I checked the time on my phone and decided to head back, since it was only about ten minutes until Alicia would get up and it took about fifteen minutes to get back.

As soon as I turned, there was a rustle in the trees.

I stopped and looked to see where it came from. Everything was calm… steady.

I began to walk again, but the rustle came again and was followed by a thud.

"Hello? Is anybody out there?" I called out, feeling idiotic.

There was nothing. I hesitated, but eventually shrugged it off and began getting back to Alicia's.

-Blossom-

I woke up to have Mom shaking me, urging me to get up for school.

"Mom?" I grunted.

"Shh." She hushed me. "Your grandmother is asleep and I didn't want to wake her up. Get ready ok, honey? But stay quiet."

I nodded groggily and she walked out of the room to wake Jordan up.

My mind raced back to last night as I got ready for the upcoming day.

After Taylor, Jordan and I went to get pizza, we met up with Mom and Dad to get Grandma Alice.

We caught up and we all received presents from her. I got an antique silver charm bracelet and I was quite happy with it. The family had dinner and then we headed back home at around eleven.

I got ready and grabbed a granola bar before heading out to be on time for cheerleading practice. As I left the house, I felt like someone was watching me. I shrugged it off as I got into the car and got to school.

I still had the feeling that I was being watched, but was quickly distracted when I met my friends on the grassy field.

-Bubbles-

"Get up, Bree." I heard my name being called out as something came into contact with my face. Hard.

"Ow!" I groaned as I woke up abruptly. I sat up quickly and I realized it was a pillow. "That was quite unnecessary!"

Liz smirked at me and shook her head, ignoring me. "I call dibs on the first shower!"

She went for the door and I scrambled to get out of bed, not wanting to let her use all of the hot water. Liz beat me to it, and locked the door.

"Bitch." I scowled.

"I heard that!" Liz laughed.

Rolling my eyes, I picked out my clothes and reluctantly decided to use my brothers' shower since my parents were still sleeping and the guest bed and bath was being renovated. The boys were at their sleepover and even though I could easily use theirs, their room and bathroom was gross.

Clothes, sports equipment, toys, and games were always strewn everywhere and random things like rotten food were found on the floor of their room and bathroom.

I hopped in the shower and took a quick shower. I immediately changed and got the hell out of that wreck of a room.

Liz was still in the shower so I decided to go downstairs and get some fresh air to get the smell of my brothers' room out of my system.

The backyard was my favorite place, since it was pretty big and was always so peaceful compared to the house.

There was a nice view of the coast and the distant skyline of Citysville. I lived in the suburbs near the coast of the ocean.

I decided to sit on the porch swing and take a breather.

The concert last night was amazing, but my mind was a mess.

I hadn't taken a whiff of alcohol or any kind of drug but I couldn't get a clear memory.

I remember deciding to get lunch and try and hunt down the band after the concert very clearly, but everything else was blurry. I think I remembered getting some Taco Bell then heading home at around ten. After that, we all went to my place and hung out until around midnight. Liz slept over, and then that was all.

In between Taco Bell and the concert was very blurry and made my head hurt a lot.

I heard something crash at the side of the porch and jumped up.

"Hello?" I called out. Silence.

I walked over to the noise slowly, my breathing hitched.

"Bree," Liz asked. I whirled around. "What are you doing out here? What's with the calling out into the wilderness?"

She looked confused and amused at the same time.

I hesitated, wanting to tell her about my confused memories but I knew I shouldn't.

"Oh I needed some fresh air. I just thought I heard someone out here but I guess I was just out of it."

Liz looked at me, questioning my explanation. She seemed to give up and grinned.

"C'mon, your mom's making waffles."

A/N: Sorry if this chapter took a while! I've been busy with homework and it was my friend's birthday so we saw Divergent! The movie was great despite not following the book but hey, not every movie can follow the book word for word! Anyways, thanks for reading and please review!
