Epilogue

He took a deep breath as he meditated on a rock beneath the waterfall. His eyes were closed, his back straight, his legs crossed, his fingertips connected. He was at inner peace, listening to the peaceful sounds of the water as the sun was going down. It was the best time to meditate after the storm had passed.
"Oi, Oni!"
He sighed and opened an eye to see his two teammates standing at the edge of the pool. "Irie, Tokugawa."
"How long are you going to meditate for?" Irie, his curly haired teammate asked.
He closed his eye again and was about to reply before there was a big splash and water splashed all over him. Annoyance and rage went through him as his eyes shot open to look at his teammate . "IRIE, I TOLD YOU NOT TO HIT BALLS IN THE WATER WHILE I'M MEDITATING!" But his two teammates had looks of shock across their faces as they stared at a spot in the water. He looked to see a body sinking below the water and before he could think of what to do, his youngest teammate had dove in the water and pulled the body up. Tokugawa pulled the body to shore as Oni jumped in the water and followed.
"Is she breathing?" Irie asked.
Tokugawa felt the pulse at her neck to feel it slowing down before he put his lips to hers to perform CPR and they watched in silence as he did so twice more before the girl coughed up water. Her eyes were opened slightly as she panted, saying a single name before her eyes closed again.
"Hey!"
"It's okay, Tokugawa." Irie said. "I think she just fainted at the sight of Oni."
Oni ignored him on how he could make a stupid joke at a time like this. "Bring her back to the medic center and see what the Coaches have to say about this."
