Chapter 15:

Mariana's POV

Facing school tomorrow meant that Mom has found the culprit of the situation. Has Mags revealed to Mom that it was me who sold her the drugs? I doubt Farrah had said anything; she would never do something like that to a friend.

"Mariana," Mom Lena said, entering my room with angered brows and glazed eyes, with full nostrils, "Downstairs now. We need to talk."

Jude's POV

I watched as Mariana spilled tears as Mom Lena lectured furiously at her. It wasn't my place to tell, yet it also wasn't her place to be selling drugs.

Mom Lena took out the small bag of pills and Mariana cried more. I gently closed the bedroom door and sat down on the bed.

"You really shouldn't be eavesdropping, you know." Jesus said, texting on his phone.

"You knew?" I asked.

He nodded, "I didn't tell Mom, though."

"Oh."

Just then, I hear Mariana's footsteps marching across the hardwood floors. I pressed my ear against the door, hearing her mutter, "Farrah!"

Farrah's POV

The school bell had rung just in time for me to get my books out of my locker, for the next class. As I strode on my way, I suddenly feel a pull, leading me into a closed room. "What the-" I say, before being cut short with a kiss.

"Where have you been?" Jesus asked me.

"Shouldn't you be getting to class?"

He left trails of kisses along my jawline and said, "Don't feel like it. Shouldn't you be answering your phone?"

I rolled my eyes at his mischief, "I would if I wasn't hurrying for class! Stop, I need to keep my record on high and get to class."

"Come on, just one time."

I sighed in defeat and looked at his smirk, which grew wide. He then continued placing kisses on me, which I gave back with mine.

As lunch rolled by, I settled my tray next to Mariana's. Her head slowly turned to me, eying me up and down maliciously. "What are you doing here?" she beamed with anger.

"Sitting down to eat lunch..?" I answered slowly, unsure if I said that correctly.

"You can't sit with us." She stated firmly. She then turned back and continued eating her lunch. Across from her was Callie, looking at her with a confused expression.

"Geez, Mariana, no need to be in a Regina George mode," she said, "What did Farrah do wrong?"

"Ask her." She said, not even bothering to look up. Callie looked at me and raised an eyebrow.

"I honestly don't know what I did wrong." I said, surrendering my hands in the air innocently.

Mariana bursted into laughter and exclaimed, "Yeah right! You know what you did wrong! You–"

"Hey, what's going on?" Jesus asked, stepping in between us.

"You know what, Jesus, just leave, and don't even dare talk to Farrah again!" She yelled.

Everyone on the patio began to look at us, as if we're a mini mosh pit. Jesus looked at her with an angry expression, with embarrassment hiding within. He took hold of my arm and said, "At least let me say goodbye." Mariana rolled her eyes and waved us off.

Jesus then took off, with me clinging to him. We then finally settled into our hiding spot. He asked, "What happened out there?""I don't know," I said on the verge of tears, "I didn't even do anything to her! Why would she blame me for something I didn't–"

Jesus hushed me silently like a lullaby, slowly wrapping himself around me. He rocked me side to side as I weep quietly on his chest.

"It'll be over before you know it." He whispered.

"I don't know." I said, "I think I should just back off for now."

He stiffened, looking at me with broken eyes, "Wait what? No, you can't! Don't do this because of Mariana, she's just my sister."

"But I want to cause any trouble," I said, "She hates me now."

"But I don't." he said, placing a strand of my hair behind my ear, "please."
I gave it thought. If I did this, what will be of me? I don't really talk to anybody here, besides the Foster family. Yet, if I do this, they will leave me in peace. I looked back at him with eyes that filled into his sorrowful ones. I tiptoed up and kissed him softly and whispered,

"I'm sorry."

A/N: I was going to post another one today but it's my sister's birthday. I'm sorry!
