Chapter 21

Stella POV

We walked into a quaint restaurant for breakfast with the sun shining brightly. After our concert last night we woke up quite late. Especially with the big surprise of meeting One Direction none of us could disagree that it was one of our best nights. Even though we've barely begun our tour I feel that we're just beginning to figure out our music careers. Shania sang as if she had no nerves at all and our fans were cheering them along.

At the end of our concert One Direction had come back stage and complimented us. They told us that they would recommend us to their record company because of our great sound and the fact the audience seemed to love it. We were so shocked because none of us would've imagined being in the same company as One Direction.

When they spoke Shania became giddy, Mo kept giggling and Olivia was even paler than she was before our performance if possible. I mentally laughed at their reactions, we offered them to come along with us for a snack but they said that they had plans. Most likely with their girlfriends or fiancé in Zayn's case.

A short while after they left, I thought about how great friends we could be to them. Not looking at the fact they were famous they seemed so nice, fun and extremely funny. I'm pretty their impressions of us were pretty weird though, after that meet.

Back to this morning, we were all cozily seated together enjoying our meal. For a change I ordered English tea because that's what England is known for. Looking at the at our table I smiled. Olivia and Wen were holding hands across the table while eating breakfast. Charlie and Mo were talking quietly to each other, Ray was across from me and talking to Seth about something. Shania was eating breakfast with a pensive expression on her face and Oliver was on his phone.

In the following days we'll be in another country with new experiences that I should probably tell my mother about. Oliver being on his phone reminded me that I should do so. After breakfast Mo and Liv are forcing Shania and I to shop in one of the world's most famous cities. So the guys get some guy time. I quickly got out my phone and messaged my mother. By the time I finished everyone was getting ready to leave. I tapped Shania's shoulder to grab her attention and signaled to Oliver to move over so I could talk to her before the torture began.

Last night before the concert started Shania was still nervous. While sitting her leg was shaking at the speed of light. She wasn't the only one whose nerves got to them though, Oliver was biting his nails frantically before they got announced. Although Ray, Seth and Lucas though seemed calm.

The rest of the gang was in our change rooms getting ready. Olivia at the moment was having her make-up being done so I was the only one left with the band before their performance. I also wanted to make sure that Ray was fine and wish him luck before he went on.

A guy with a clipboard said that it was time and the entire band got up. The screams from fan increased in volume as they each got handed their instruments. They were waiting for their signal right at the curtain so I ran up to Ray and gave him a hug whispering good luck. He smiled at me and said, "wait! All of you guys come here."

They all walked to Ray quickly and he said, "good luck guys, let's play some music." They smiled and I pressured them to have a big group hug. Shania got surprised to say the least and I yelled good luck to them right before waving to Ray just as he went onto stage.

I'm extremely glad that they seem to get along better. They especially had a lot less time to become friends than we did. I smiled at Shania and she hesitantly smiled back, "hey Shania, ready to shop?" She nodded and got up.

The guys left shortly after Ray had given me a quick kiss. Olivia and Mo were in the bathroom and we're now waiting for them. Shania was gazing out the window of the restaurant when I said, "hey, you did a great job yesterday." Her head slowly turned towards me and I could see her eyes studying me.

"Thanks, you guys were really great too." She looked back outside and I asked, "are you close with your band mates? Cause you're the only girl so it's kind of like Paramore." She shrugged, "it was my choice to join the band anyways but I'm not the close with them. I'm probably only close with Ray because he checks if I'm writing new songs. Why?" She moved away from the window and looked straight at me.

When looking at Shania I could tell she didn't really have any friends. Whether she was making an effort with her band-mates I had no idea but I felt that I should help her. Truth be told even though Olivia, Mo and I are all really good friends I still feel sort of left out with them. Olivia and Mo are always talking about shopping or girly stuff that I sometimes just can't relate to. They are still my best friends but I should take Shania under my wing.

"I was just wondering, that's all." Mo and Olivia had now come out of the bathroom and were laughing. We all exited the restaurant together and started our way to the shops that were nearby.

Ray POV

Things for Stella and I are going smoothly so far. What worries me is the band isn't getting along that well. Consideringthat I had to replace two of my band mates it makes sense. Most other bands formed simply because they thought it was fun. That's what Scott and I were like when we began but after we realized how much we loved it we started to take it to competitions.

When Scott left our band I had a hard time because he and I were in charge together. I know it was for the best though he was becoming way too cocky and it was getting to a point where I didn't think he could go back, until he met Mo. I on the other hand just kept my real personality on the dl.

I hope that Stella would be able to help me with Shania. Yes I'm a flirt but when it comes to actually understanding girls and making them feel welcomed I have no idea what to do. The guys on the other hand I can help.

We're all just walking around the park and enjoying not having the girls nag us about the tour. We were also sure if the girls were here they would've pressured us into a street performance. A big sign saying 'bike rents $10' loomed in front of us and we all had the same idea. Once we paid and were comfortably sitting on our bikes we started to venture around the great city. We didn't know where we're going but it was just fun biking around instead of walking. Also we loved having the wind in our faces because it wasn't raining for the first time they were in England.

We biked for what we felt like two hours and decided to stop for a water break. We took notice that every once a few girls would pass by smiling and winking at us. "Dude, that girl is really pretty and she's looking at you." A pretty, short blonde girl was giggling and smiling at Seth every once in a while.

She was sitting on a bench a few feet away from them. Scott was the first one to notice her andhe thought she looked familiar to him. We're all pushing him to go over to her but he ignored them until I finally shoved him and he stumbled over.

He smiled and sat to the left of the blonde. To the right of her was her friend. "Hey my name's Seth and I was wondering if I've ever met you before because you look familiarly beautiful." I snickered at his flirting I could do better. The blonde girl smiled and spoke with an English accent, "No, I don't think so but I can tell from your accent that your from America."

Seth thought for a bit, "do you have any relatives in America? Cousins, sisters or brothers?" She nodded and said, "yes a cousin, Victoria, she writes for the newspaper in her school." A light bulb went inside Seth's head. "I know her! Anyways my friends were just wondering if you would like to join us for a stroll in the park."

She looked to her friend who nodded eagerly. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your names?" He said, Victoria's cousin smiled and introduced herself and her friend as, "Delilah and Abbey." They got up and Seth escorted them to the rest of the guys.

After the intros Seth quickly explained why Delilah had looked familiar and Charlie's face seemeda bit guilty. Probably because he dumped Victoria to go after Mo. Delilah and Abbey started to walk but Scott and Seth had offered for the two girls to sit on their handlebars so we could bike around the park.

We came to a point where we were passing shops and Charlie stopped to tell us to see this. Inside were the girls looking around and trying on clothes, well actually it was Mo and Olivia who were avidly looking around. Stella and Shania though were just kind of sitting around with bored expressions.

I had a bright idea to tease my girlfriend and walked in to store. I told the guys to follow my lead. "Hey guys have you heard of this new band Mudslide Crush? I heard they're way better than Lemonade Mouth." I said really loud with my back facing Stella. From the reflection of the mirror I saw Stella immediately perk up and Seth played along, "yeah I mean their songs are so much better."

Stella got up, turned around and tapped me on the shoulder. Before realizing who I was she started to yell at me, "excuse me, sir but I couldn't but overhear your loud and conceited comments. Unless you play an instrument " she broke off because I grabbed her face and started to kiss her. Olivia and Mo came out of the change room and smirked at us.

Stella quickly reacted and when we broke apart Stella smiled. "You're way better huh? Without us you wouldn't be touring." I took her hand and said "alright Ms. Lemonade Mouth you keep saying that." She hit me playfully on the head and then Mo asked her burning question, "why are you guys here? You missed us that much?" She looked at Charlie and he blushed slightly.

Olivia then asked, "and who are these two girls?" Delilah and Abbey went to shake Olivia's hand, "I'm Delilah and she's Abbey, your friends asked us to join them for a stroll in the park" with her British accent. The girls nodded in understanding.

"We came over here to ask if you'd like to come along" Scott said. Stella looked over to Mo and Olivia who were still wearing the clothes they tried on. Stella put her hands in a prayer place and went over to Mo with a puppy face. Mo and Olivia quickly gave in and went to change back into their clothes.

When the two girls came out of the store Charlie and Wen quickly offered their handlebars to sit on. When they saw Stella sitting on Ray's handlebars they agreed to their boyfriend's offer. Scott had Abbey on his bike and Seth had Delilah, only Shania was left so she said, "I'll walk right behind you guys, we're not going far are we?"

Delilah gave her a pitying look but Shania gave her a look of 'don't say anything'. "It's not actually that far" Delilah responded. Mo got off and said, "Shania why don't you ask Lucas or Oliver to let you ride on their bike." She looked over to the two brothers. "Lucas's is carrying your shopping bags and Oliver's bike is way too tall for me." Olivia then got off too and said, "way too tall? Ridiculous, right Oliver?" He nodded and then Stella said "c'mon Shania! Let's get out of here!"

Shania's looked doubtful at that moment but she reluctantly walked over and sat on Oliver's handlebars. It's not that she had something against him, well that's not true but she and him had long history together that she'd rather not delve into. They all started to bike and Delilah was in the front giving Seth directions with the rest of them behind.

Delilah had led them to a different park with beautiful flowers surrounding the path. We all sat while Scott, Abbey, Seth and Delilah offered to get drinks for everyone. They came back with Lemonade and the cheery sun was shining and reflecting their perfect mood.

No One POV

Relaxed and ready for their next tour stop they sat with the fragrant flowers around them. Especially since all the couples were enjoying each other's company. Lucas and Oliver had stolen Shania's scarf and were playing monkey in the middle. It didn't help that Oliver was about a foot taller than her and his brother was only short by a couple of inches. Since she was about 5"4' or 3' she was jumping around for about 10 minutes until she got a bright idea.

Oliver was now teasing her by tossing the scarf up and down in his hand with a grin. "Oliver someone's stealing the bike you rented!" She pointed behind him and he turned his head, giving her enough time to sprint toward him and reach for the scarf in his hand. Unfortunately she tripped on Oliver's feet and fell only to bring him down with her.

She fell right on top of him and they both landed on the ground with a loud thump. Oliver groaned and Shania immediately got up saying sorry, "are you alright, is anything broken?" Oliver scowled at her and then said, "be more careful next time!" She looked down and then she felt a pair of arms around her. She looked up only to see Oliver was hugging her, he whispered in her ear, "I'm joking with you, don't worry."

He let go, got up and lent her a hand up. She brushed off some petals on her leg and got up, "thanks but I can stand up on my own." She smiled sweetly and Oliver shrugged. Stella sneakily yelled, "boo!" Right behind Shania. She had jumped but Oliver just walked away.

Stella had started to tease them in a sing-song voice, "looks like we have some new love birds." Oliver was talking to his brother now and ignored the comment but Shania slapped Stella's arm and said "haha, very funny Mrs. Beach." Stella punched her back playfully and then they started to chase each other around. Soon enough the rest of them got up and started to play tag like little kids.

Mo had tickled Stella so she threatened to pour Lemonade on anyone who dared tickle her again. So Ray had picked Stella up and carried her over his shoulder to calm her down. The earth was slowly turning away from the sun but a single drop of rain refused to fall. The teens felt nice just fooling around for one day. Also for once Reznik was able to sit and admire the young bands great spirit. She knew that she had formed a great band that would be revolutionary but she had no idea that they would change their biggest rival into a band with great intentions as well.

Without them knowing it, it would be the beginning of something memorable.

Alright it's late, I'm done the my first multi-chap that I completely originally created and I must say I loved it! I actually have planned this fanfic to be the first one of the 5 in the series! SO LOTS MORE COMING. I'VE GOT SO MANY GREAT IDEAS FOR THE NEXT STORIES! THINGS ARE GOING TO CHANGE *wink* Although I am open to any ideas you guys have so just PM or review! For now though I'mma take a lil break, it took me more than a year to write this cause I didn't plan the plot HEEHEE and I'm bad at updating! Thanks for reading it though!

Alright so here's my rough idea for my next story, I don't have the title and I'm working on the details so don't hate!

The band had came back from their summer tour with great grins on their faces. With school starting up they could hardly believe what they just experienced. Of course with Mo's constant nagging about concentrating on school none of them would be prepared to hear from Ms. Reznik that a friend had kept their promise from one concert. What they don't see though is what that might bring them in the future.

-KK HOPE YOU ENJOYED! I'LL TRY TO START WRITING NEXT ONE SOON BUT DON'T EXPECT THAT SOON!
