Sadism Pleasure ─ Chapter 7

"The Long Day at Kindergarten"

It was such a beautiful morning when a certain brunet was walking rather hurriedly throughout the corridor of the kindergarten where he worked. Tsuna knew he was late. He just couldn't help it. It took him some moment to go to Sasagawa's house and to get changed there. But thanks to that, he was now clean and tidy after taking a quick shower.

Tsuna's general looks was beautifully dashing. He was now wearing a different shirt than his previous one and a pair of long black pants that fitted perfectly on his legs. His broken white dress-shirt was impeccably shaped upon his lean body; its sleeves were rolled up to his elbows and paired with a stripped-brown-orange sleeveless sweater on top of it. His button-up shirt was buttoned up to its top and was accompanied with a matching black silk tie, knotted delicately on his neck. The reason of his general appearance was because he wanted it to cover all the kiss marks on his neck, so that he didn't have to worry about people calling him a sex-crazed maniac.

Something that's clearly different than his usual look was that he was wearing no-specs square-rimmed glasses; the rims and handles were pearl black, making an excellent contrast with his shirt. It also somehow made him look smarter than his usual look. Well, he was a teacher now. He was required to look smart. Plus, the glasses were also a good cover for his face, thus he didn't need to worry about his appearance as the mafia boss.

After walking for a moment, he finally arrived at his destination. He stopped right in front of a blue door and took a deep breath before he then proceeded to open it sideways and walked in.

'I hope no one notices that I'm late,' Tsuna silently whispered in his mind, crossing his fingers wistfully.

But who he was kidding?

"SAWADA! YOU ARE EXTREMELY LATE TO THE EXTREME!"

There came that loud blaring noise coming from the one and only Sasagawa Ryohei. Who else talked like that if not him? Even after ten years had passed by, he still couldn't be a little bit quieter. And it was worse because he made everyone in there simultaneously know about Tsuna's tardiness. What a nice announcement.

Wonder what's Tsuna's reaction? He facepalmed… mentally.

Well, he wanted to. For God's sake, if he could, he would facepalm, facewall, facebook, or face-any-flat-surface! Geez! He surely didn't need everyone to stare at him like this. While it's true that Tsuna was Ryohei's boss in the Vongola, but in here, Ryohei was his senior.

And yes, it was Ryohei's job to manage his juniors. Yes, it was Ryohei's job to make sure everything's going well in this school. But seriously? It's so embarrassing! Damn Ryohei for taking this role-playing job to the extreme.

"I-I'm really sorry, Onii-san! I slept really late last night!" Tsuna hurriedly walked to Ryohei's side and started to bow apologetically.

Feeling self-conscious, his face turned beet red. He could literally feel everyone's stare prickling on his skin. It's like telling him what a bad teacher he was. Or maybe it was just his wild imagination trying to get the best of him. Still, he really hoped Ryohei would turn down his loud voice. There's no need to make everyone know about this problem!

"Wogh! You really need to extremely rest on time and extremely wake up on time, Sawada! If it were an extreme fire accident, you would be extremely burned out to the extreme!" Ryohei scolded again— at least it was less louder than before.

It was still loud though. And what's with that weird example? They both know Tsuna wouldn't die easily like that in fire. The guy could simply freeze the flames with his zero point break-through. It only made Tsuna feel more embarrassed than he already was!

"I'm r-really sorry, Onii-san! It won't happen again, I promise." Tsuna repetitively bowed to show his apologetic gesture.

It was kind of funny to see the boss bowing to his subordinate, but it happened. Besides, Tsuna was not really the type that bothered about his position. He's really down to earth. Domination was not really his thing. Unless, it's in bed and with a certain raven haired guy, namely Takeshi. But of course, he wouldn't admit that. Never.

"Yosh! If you understand, then you can get back to your extreme work again!" Ryohei nodded vigorously, agreeing with what Tsuna said.

He then patted Tsuna's head two-or-three times, treating him like a kid before he then turned on his heels and walked away from the silently irritated brunet. Tsuna felt a bit annoyed being treated like a spoiled brat like that. It's like Reborn's treatment all over again. But he decided to let it slid.

Just when he saw Ryohei was leaving, Tsuna decided to call his senpai again.

"W-wait a minute, Nii-san!" Tsuna exclaimed silently, his face turned to a nervous look.

Having been beckoned like that, the boxing enthusiast suddenly stopped on his move and turned back. He looked to Tsuna and threw the brunet a confused look.

"What?"

Looking at how Ryohei's expression was rather perplexed, Tsuna thought that he had to explain furthermore. He looked up to the silveret, fixing his glasses in the process.

"My work?" Tsuna replied back shortly, he raised his eyebrows inquisitively, also noting his confusion.

But sadly, he only got another confused stare from the other guy.

Knowing that it was not working, Tsuna decided to add again,

"Uhh," he thought for a moment, trying to find the right way to explain it to Ryohei,

"I mean, what am I supposed to do now?"

Ryohei then parted his mouth for a moment as he tried to process the information for a while. After a moment of that, he enthusiastically exclaimed a little when his mind finally clicked and got it.

"Of course, your usual extreme work!" Ryohei nodded once-or-twice, "Why did you have to extremely ask something like that?"

His expression turned to a deep incredulous stare. It was as if he was questioning the brunet's intelligence. His face was making that kind of depreciating, 'Oh my God, are you for real?' look. And of course, Tsuna didn't fancy the idea. It wasn't Tsuna's fault! He's just a new worker here and he didn't have prior knowledge in teaching whatsoever.

"Y-You're missing the point! I don't know what that is!" Tsuna became restless.

He felt a bit tired just by trying to make Ryohei understand his point. It was not really his fault though. He was not only mentally drained but also physically exhausted. All that he wanted was just his Onii-san telling him what he was supposed to do here. He did not want to be a free-loader. He came here to work, so that he could take his mind off a certain raven-haired guy that has been turning his life upside down with all the kind and gentle treatment he got.

But that statement really got Ryohei off guard this time. The guy's eyes even widened like a flying saucer, startled of what he just heard.

He leaned his face close to Tsuna and when he reached about ten centimeters from it, he whispered secretly.

"You mean you really extremely don't know?" Ryohei asked again, his eyes glinting with curiosity.

This made Tsuna nervously gulp the big lump in his throat as he wondered whether he would get punished or not. Even so Ryohei was Tsuna's subordinate.

"Y-Yeah."

The Sun Guardian stared deeply to his boss, eyes filled with disbelief.

"To the extreme?"

"Uhh, m-maybe?" Tsuna averted his gaze. He wondered unsure what he should reply when Ryohei was asking him like that.

"WOGH! SAWADA, YOU REALLY ARE TOO EXTREME!" Ryohei shouted again, earning immediate stares from everyone around them. They were all looking at Tsuna, possibly mumbling about him too.

"C-cut it out, w-will you? It's really embarrassing!" he shied away, his reddened face was giving shame to tomatoes itself. He was so embarrassed. He even wanted to stuff his face and cover it for indefinitely.

"To tell you the truth, I have no idea either." Ryohei scratched the side of his head as he threw an innocent grin toward the brunet. And with that, Tsuna knew that it was final. There was no point in asking Ryohei at the first place when the person himself didn't know the answer at all.

"Good luck!" Ryohei wished as he patted Tsuna's shoulder once-or-twice. He then turned on his heels and left, leaving the brunet to sigh desperately on his own.

"This is hopeless." Tsuna said as he tiredly sighed again. He never knew the beginning of his day could be so tiring like this. He really wanted to do something useful here at first, but now, he was not really sure about it anymore. All was because he wasn't into it anymore. Well, to be fair, he could really use some rest at home right now.

"Good Morning, Tsuna-kun." A sudden voice addressing him out of the blue made him realize how he was spacing out in the middle of the teacher lounge. The voice belonged to none other than Sasagawa Kyoko.

Instinctively, Tsuna looked up and replied to her greetings.

"Good Morning to you too, Kyoko-chan." He waved his hand, trying to shake away his distressed look with it. He didn't want to trouble Kyoko with his problems. Especially since Tsuna knew the problem was not necessarily related to his works here.

Noticing the troubled look that was plastered on the brunet's face, Kyoko decided to apologize. She noticed it was probably because of Ryohei's fault that made Tsuna looking like that.

"I'm sorry for Onii-chan. He can bit a little too loud at times." She smiled apologetically, which was replied by a reassuring smile from the brunet.

"No, it's fine really. I'm more sorry about what I'm supposed to do here. Problem being a newbie." Tsuna shrugged his shoulders.

"Well, everything is pretty much covered. Onii-chan already took care of your work." Kyoko explained simply, she then looked at Tsuna worriedly, "How about you call it a day and rest? You look so tired today."

Before Kyoko even finished that thought, Tsuna quickly cut it beforehand. He knew the reason why he looked so tired. But of course, he would not admit that. Besides, it was not something that he could easily talk with his friends now, was it? It's not like he could tell the reason why he looked so tired today was because of his adventurous encounter with a certain police officer last night.

"N-No! I'm fine. Extremely fine. " He brushed his upcoming blush off, not wanting Kyoko to be curious about it, "Come on, there's gotta be something that I can do—"

Before he finished his sentence, a sudden loud cry was echoing throughout the room.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

It sounded like something just happened with the kids. Maybe it was a little fight or something and then someone cried because of it. Tsuna concluded that in his mind.

"Ohh, " Kyoko exhaled, noticing what was going on, "Someone is crying."

She was just about to leave and see what happened, but she was stopped by Tsuna's advance.

"L-Let me take care of it! It will be done before you know it!" Tsuna promised enthusiastically. He knew he could easily handle this problem. It's time to show them that he was really capable for this job!

Kyoko nodded understandingly,

"Okay then. I'll leave it to you, Tsuna-kun."

Outside of the teacher's room, a group of little kids was murmuring on one another. They were out encircling a crying boy and a boy who looked so guilty. Apparently, the guilty-looking boy was the one that made the other boy cried and the rest was just gathering around them, looking curious towards it, probably wondering what just happened too.

"Wahhh! It's broken! It's broken!" the spiky raven-haired boy cried loudly as he pointed the stuffed toy in front of him.

The broken toy itself was nothing more than a lion plushie. It looked really cute, small, fluffy and squishable. Everyone who looked at it could fall in love with it at the first sight. It had this small spiky manes on its head, marking how gallant it was. And the eyes were big and doe-like, it added the overall cuteness of the toy. The only thing that made it look broken was because one of its arms went missing. It looked like it was torn, judging from the white cottons that came out from the ripped arm.

It didn't need a genius to figure out what happened. This crying boy was the one who owned the lion plushie and the guilty-looking boy somehow ripped and broke the doll.

"Ahh! No! Don't cry! Tatsu will fix it!" the boy went panicky when he saw the kid was crying so deeply.

This Tatsu boy was a good kid. Of course, he wouldn't want his friends to cry, especially not because of him. Even though it was an accident, they were all just little kids. They still cry when things get broken and such.

"You can't fix it! It's already broken!" the boy became pessimistic, tears streaming down his face. It made Tatsu to be more terrified. His brown eyes were widened in shock, trace of guilt was apparent on his beautiful eyes.

"No! Don't say that! Tatsu will – " He took the ripped doll and tried to stick the torn arm back on restlessly. He tried it several times, hoping that it would somehow got stuck again like it used to. But it was useless. Every time it looked like it got together, it would then come off again. He couldn't manage to make it permanently stitched.

"Tatsu… d-don't know how to fix this too…" the boy looked very guilty now. His black eyebrows were drooped down, feeling quite down. He felt useless. He thought he could fix it, but it turned out he couldn't. He really didn't mean to break the lion plushie. He was just looking at it. It was all an accident. But the little kids wouldn't that easily to understand that, would they?

"Waaaaaaah!" After hearing that Tatsu didn't know how to fix it too, the boy cried intensely. It was really final for him now. It really was broken. His little lion plushie was no more.

"Wait! Don't cry! T-Tatsu will—" Tatsu tried to cheer him up, but he knew he couldn't really do anything about it. He couldn't fix the ripped plushie. He also felt really bad that he made someone cry again.

"If only Papa-keshi is here…" he mumbled silently, wishing that his father would be here and save the day as he held back the forming tears on the edge of his eyes. Tatsu was also going to cry too. He felt bad of himself. He did something wrong, he couldn't fix it and on top of it, he made someone cry. Yet again.

But before he began crying, Tsuna finally arrived, smiling soothingly towards the kids as if saying that everything was going to be okay now.

"Maa, maa. What happened?" Tsuna walked in, breaking the circling crowd. His big brown eyes were sincere, caring and filled with a trace of curiosity. He raised his furrowing eyebrows a little, asking for a good explanation.

He really didn't need to wait that long till it all shown. All of the kids were busy chattering over each other, trying to explain their own versions of the situation. Some was explaining with so much passion, while others were not really into it. Some was even torn in between, scared and shy of telling their opinions.

Receiving such eager response, Tsuna smiled gently. He tried to understand what they said but he only got more confused. That's why he decided to listen on the two bickering kids instead. He figured the crying boy and the boy who's looking guilty were the main reason of this problem.

"So, what happened?" Tsuna asked again. He tilted his head to the side as he then lashed out his caring smile, giving a friendly impression towards the kids.

Knowing that Tsuna was talking to him, the crying boy looked up to him and shouted.

"Tatsu broke my lion on purpose!" he pointed a finger to the said boy, accusing him guilty. It made the other boy look really guilty, scared even.

"I-It was not on purpose! Tatsu swear!" the boy explained in fear. He knew he was guilty, but he didn't think he'd be blamed like this. That's why he's a bit scared now. More importantly, he really didn't do it on purpose! It was just an accident!

"T-Tatsu was just looking! And then Shima came and g-grabbed… " he looked down, not even able to finish his words. Tatsu was not lying. He stated it just as it was. He only picked up the plushie and was just looking at it. But then the owner, Shima, came and took it from him. Tatsu who was surprised from the sudden movement, held on to it dearly and ended up ripping the toy into two.

Noticing all that, Tsuna decided to conclude the problem. He figured it was all just a big misunderstanding. All was just accidental. And there was no need to blame anyone for this.

"There, there. Don't cry." he gently patted Tatsu head, assuring the boy that everything was going to be okay now, "Here, give it to me."

He reached out his hand and took the torn-out plushie from Tatsu's hands. He then observed it a little, looking at the broken pieces. He simply analyzed the overall damage, calculating and deciding what he should do in order to fix it.

"Mmm, this will be easy." He nodded knowingly, already figured out how to fix the toy. Then he looked at the two kids, "Wait a minute. I'll fix this."

After saying that, Tsuna took his leave and proceeded to the teacher room. In there, he talked to the teacher not far from the door and asked for some stuffs to repair the plushie. After talking for a while, he then came out from the room and walked towards the gathering kids. He looked at Tatsu and Shima who were curiously waiting for his return. He smiled at them, telling them that it was going to be okay now.

He then sat not far from them and decided to do his works.

"All you need is a little needle and then," Tsuna said simply as he delicately moved his hands to sew the torn pieces.

Even though it was just sewing a simple part, the boys really stared at Tsuna in total awe. His hands were as if dancing beautifully, gliding in the air and prancing wondrously. And on top of it, he really made the torn parts to be sticking on each other. He had also stuffed in the cottons that came out from the opening and fixated it with his sewing, so that it didn't come out anymore.

After a while, he quickly cross-stitched the loose opening and shut it closed. He pulled the string sharply, making sure that it was all fixed and then he cut the loose string up.

"There! It's not ripped anymore!" he said proudly as he displayed the result of his handy crafting. And he was right. The lion plushie was now fixed and looked as if it was new again! Of course it made the boys to be so happy! It also made Tatsu feel relieved! How could he not? The toy was all fixed and his problem was suddenly gone. All thanks to Tsuna!

"Wow! Thank you, Sawada-nii!" The boy cheered, smiling all wide to his savior.

"Ahahaha! Don't mention it." Tsuna smiled wholeheartedly, feeling happy that he was able to solve the problem. He then looked at Tatsu and raised his eyebrows, "Tatsu already apologized, right?"

The said boy nodded apologetically, his face was still having the guilty frown but it was already better than before.

"T-Tatsu is really sorry…" He bowed a little to show that he was really sorry. He hoped Shima would not be angry at him anymore.

But on his surprise, Shima turned around and shouted childishly.

"Hmph! I don't want to play with Tatsu anymore! He is a bad kid!"

Tatsu pouted his lips and looked down, feeling really bad after getting told like that by Shima. This didn't go unnoticed. Tsuna could easily see it through and decided to soothe the little kid. He didn't want Tatsu to blame himself to such extend.

"Mmm, don't worry. They're just kids. They'll forget it by tomorrow." Tsuna assured. He gave his sincerest smile to Tatsu, hoping that the kid would not take it to heart. He patted Tatsu's shoulder once-and-twice caringly, trying to make the boy feel better.

Still, Tatsu looked so down as memories started to bombard his mind.

"No one still wants to play with Tatsu though." He sighed tiredly, feeling defeated.

"That's not true. There must be your close friends that want to play with you." Tsuna stated in protest. He did not want Tatsu to believe such things.

"But Tatsu has no friends…" Tatsu sad face was now turned to a deep, apologetic frown. It was as if he was blaming himself again.

Somehow, it reminded Tsuna of his own past. Tsuna had no friends either when he was just a little kid. He was the typical, lonely little kid, where his father was nowhere to be found when he needed him the most.

And having such past, of course, Tsuna would not want other people to feel that loneliness too. This boy was definitely too young to undergo something like this.

"If that so, can I be your friend?" Tsuna asked out of the blue. He gave out his brightest grin to Tatsu, giving a nice warm feeling inside the boy's heart. And it caught him off guard.

"R-Really? S-Sawada-nii wants to be Tatsu's friend?" He asked in disbelief, eyes glowing in pure shock. He was utterly surprised. It was the first time someone ever asked that to him. And somehow, it made him to feel happy yet also uneasy at the same time. He wondered what he did to deserve being treated so kindly like this.

But as assuring as he was, Tsuna smiled so gently.

"Tsuna. Just call me Tsuna. And yes, I'd love to."

"T-Then! T-Tsuna-nii? Tatsu call you Tsuna-nii then?" Tatsu's eyes sparkled in surprise. It was actually the first time for him to have friends like this.

"Yup," Tsuna nodded in agreement. He also felt happy that he was able to cheer Tatsu up out from his loneliness, "Let's make new friends that want to play with us too!"

Upon hearing that, Tatsu's happy smile turned to a sad frown again. Befriending Tsuna-nii was one thing, but making friends with others was definitely another. A slight fear was rising in his chest. What if they rejected him again as usual?

"B-but… they don't want to play with Tatsu…" the boy explained, letting his sad frown taking over his cute face.

"Don't say it like that. They do." Tsuna calmed him, hoping to make Tatsu stop blaming himself.

"Maybe they don't want to play with Tatsu because Tatsu is a bad kid." Tatsu stated sullenly. His face turned to a childish pout.

"No, you're wrong." Tsuna protested softly, "Tatsu is not a bad kid. You are a really great kid, you know that? You are kind, caring, and honest. Everyone wants to be friends with someone like that." He tilted his head to the side as he gave a bright smile to the startled boy.

"Ahh." Tatsu looked down, feeling a bit guilty. He thought that he didn't deserve such kindness like that, "Why is Tsuna-nii so kind to Tatsu? Just like Papa-keshi."

'Wait, what? Papa-keshi? That sounds so similar.' Tsuna thought in his mind. His eyes widened in surprise when he heard it. He knew he'd heard it but he couldn't really pinpoint where he heard it before.

Well, guess he's in for a real surprise then.

"Yo, Tatsu! You forgot your lunch agai— huh? You? You work here?"

And there he saw him again today.

Yamamoto Takeshi was standing not far from them. The raven-haired guy was wearing a white button-up shirt, with its sleeves rolled up, along with a black tie that made a nice contrast over his shirt. He tucked in his dark blue jacket on his arm while his other hand was holding a bright light-blue bento box that belonged to Tatsu. It seemed Tatsu forgot to bring his lunch again for today and Yamamoto had to come back to the kindergarten to deliver it for him.

But what he really didn't expect was meeting Tsuna in this place!

Without waiting for another second, Tsuna instinctively ran away from him. He lifted Tatsu and hugged him close to his chest as he started to take his run, leaving Yamamoto standing idle not far from him.

"Y-You didn't see me!" he quickly shouted as he turned on his heels and dashed off, giving a surprised look in Yamamoto's face.

"W-wait! Don't go!" Takeshi shouted, but it was useless. Tsuna already took his leave, faster than the win itself!

Still, how far Tsuna planned to run? Eventually, he would meet with Takeshi. It's not like he ran out from the kindergarten. Instead, he ran in. It would only be a matter of time till Takeshi meet up with him. And of course, Takeshi complied with this chasing game. In fact, he probably viewed it as a challenge!

However, there's another party that did not understand what just happened. Yeah, it was Tatsu. He didn't get it at all. He didn't get why Tsuna had to run away like that from Papa-keshi as if he saw a ghost!

Looking curious, he patted Tsuna's cheeks and asked.

"Uhh! Tsuna-nii? Tsuna-nii! Why are you running away from Papa-keshi?" His eyes widened out, confused of what just happened.

Yet he got no response. Tsuna was still walking hurriedly, away from Yamamoto.

"Did Papa-keshi do something wrong to you?" Tatsu asked again, hoping that this time he would get some explanation.

Still, Tsuna ignored the boy. He was still busy walking away and it made Tatsu to wonder. Maybe Takeshi really had done something really wrong to Tsuna and it somehow made the brunet guy to run. Why else would Tsuna not want to meet Takeshi then?

Concluding that on his own, Tatsu decided to say again.

"If Papa-keshi did something wrong, can you forgive him? Papa-keshi is always so kind to Tatsu." His face turned to a slight worry.

And this made Tsuna to stop his walking for a moment. He noticed how Tatsu seemed to be worried and restless. It was wrong. Tatsu was not supposed to worry like this. What happened between him and Takeshi had nothing to do with Tatsu. And realizing all that, Tsuna's face turned to a guilty smile.

"You got it all wrong, Tatsu. He didn't do anything wrong." He explained, pausing for a moment. He searched for the right words to express his real feeling and then he continued,

"I'm just embarrassed, Tatsu. I did something that I… " he paused again. His face was somehow looked rather desperate and ashamed.

"It's complicated. And I just don't know what to talk to him. That's why I'm hiding from him like this."

"S-Stop! A-Are you out of mind?! W-What are you thinking?!" Tsuna gapped breathlessly, his face turned to beet red due to his embarrassment.

"Some dirty stuffs. Want me to show it to you?" Takeshi licked his lips seductively, daring and bold. Ready to devour Tsuna in moments.
