Summer's POV

We arrived at Ranger Rand's house that night, exhausted and completely sick of each other. After we released our Staraptors, Ben knocked on the door. A tall, strong looking man answered the door and smiled down at us.

"Oh, you must be Summer and Ben. Come on inside; you both look exhausted," Rand said to us, letting us in. He led us to the table where we sat down and looked around the house.

"I'm Rand, the only ranger stationed in the Oblivia region, until now. This is my wife, Leanne, who is an archeologist; and my daughter Nema, who is a scientist," Rand explained to us, pointing to his daughter and wife.

"We are so happy to have you two with us. Luckily we happen to have two guest rooms," Leanne told us, before going back to the kitchen to finish dinner.

"Good, cause if I had to share a room with Ben, I'd rather sleep outside," I said to myself, but Nema heard it and couldn't help but chuckle.

After we ate dinner, we explained everything that had happened in the sky with the red boy. Though I left out the fact that he was insanely attractive, that could wait for the letters to Autumn, my best friend back in Fiore.

"We haven't seen anyone like that around," Rand replied after we had finished.

"Well, why don't we let them get some sleep and then we can think about what to do in the morning?" Leanne suggested, and we all agreed.

"Nema, show Summer and Ben to their rooms please."

I said a quick goodnight to Ben and Nema before going into my room, seeing all my stuff I had shipped from the union was already there waiting for me. I smiled as I changed into my pj's and collapsed onto the bed. I still couldn't believe what had happened today.

I also couldn't get that red boy out of my head. He was a bad guy and he almost blew Ben right out of the sky. I sighed and rolled over, hoping to get some sleep.

*Time skip because I'm not working on this story anymore but I wrote this part and decided to add it. They've had more interactions between this and the first part and realize they're attracted to each other, blah blah*

Summer's POV

I was walking around by myself in the temple when I ran into him again. He smirked when he saw me, as if he had been waiting for me.

"So, mind telling me where to go so I don't get more lost than I already am?" I asked as I walked up to him.

"Sorry dear, but can't do that. We could have a little battle though if you want to pass some time," he replied as he leaned against the door frame.

"Na, I don't have the time for that. Ben will get annoyed with me if I'm late," I sighed.

"You two don't get along, do you?" Red asked. Red eyes was too long, I had gotten in the habit of just calling him Red.

"He's so annoying! He doesn't respect me at all even though I'm faster than him and way better at getting along with Pokémon. In fact, I'm smarter than him, yet he doesn't ever listen to anything I have to say!" I ranted, stomping around a little. I sighed again. "Once we finish you pincher people, I can go back to Almia."

"Too bad you little rangers won't be able to defeat us," Red replied, still smirking. I hated to admit, but he looked pretty hot as he stood in the shadow of the wall.

I took a step closer to him, my face close to his. I felt my heart pounding. "You underestimate me. Big mistake," I said softly as I looked directly into his eyes.

"You're too attractive for your own good," Red whispered before grabbing my face and kissing me. He shocked me, and I froze for a second, but then I regained control of my thoughts. I smiled as I grabbed him and kissed him back. He seemed shocked at first, but kissed me even harder. We broke apart a few minutes later, slightly short of breath.

"I should get going," I said as I stepped back.

He quickly caught my arm and pulled me back. "Oh come on ranger brat, you can't leave me with just that."

I laughed. "You'll see me again." He tried to kiss me again, but I broke away. "Later Red," I called to him as I ran off down the hallway. I heard him sigh as I disappeared.

Red Eye's POV

I was getting bored with waiting for her to show up. I had argued with Blue eyes to get this chance to see her, I wasn't going to let her get away with slipping by me. Not this time.

I smirked as she finally walked into the room looking slightly lost.

"So, mind telling me where to go so I don't get more lost than I already am?" she asked when she finally saw me. She walked up to me and looked around the room, seeming interested in the dark room.

"Sorry dear, but can't do that. We could have a little battle though if you want to pass some time," I leaned against the door frame, observing her. She was just as adorable as always, but she seemed slightly annoyed.

"Na, I don't have the time for that. Ben will get annoyed with me if I'm late," she sighed, that annoyance shining through more.

"You two don't get along, do you?" I asked. If she didn't get along with him, she should just come over to our side. Or let me deal with him for her.

"He's so annoying! He doesn't respect me at all even though I'm faster than him and way better at getting along with Pokémon. In fact, I'm smarter than him, yet he doesn't ever listen to anything I have to say!" As she ranted, she stomped around, which was insanely attractive for some reason. She sighed again. "Once we finish you pincher people, I can go back to Almia."

"Too bad you little rangers won't be able to defeat us," I smirked at her. She stayed silent for a moment as she observed me. I wish I could know what she was thinking about.

She took a step closer to me, surprising me by placing her face close to mine. I knew I couldn't keep myself under control any longer. Then again, why should I? Here we were, all alone in this temple room, both our teams far away. I may not get another chance like this. "You underestimate me. Big mistake," she said softly as she looked directly into my eyes. Her eyes shined with a playful, daring message.

"You're too attractive for your own good," I whispered before I grabbed her face and kissed her. I expected her to pull away, but a few seconds later I could feel her smile and she grabbed me, kissing me back. I was surprised, but I quickly began to kiss her more intensely. We broke apart a few minutes later, slightly short of breath, but I wanted to keep kissing her.

"I should get going," she said. She stepped away, but I quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

"Oh come on ranger brat, you can't leave me with just that," I said. She laughed at me, so I tried to kiss her again.

"You'll see me again." She easily broke away from my grasp. "Later Red." She took off down the hallway, and I knew she was smiling. Brat. I sighed as I watched her disappear into the darkness. She was right though, I would see her again.
