Okay now, I know I've gone missing for months, so I'm really sorry. Writer's block. Didn't get the inspiration yet to write and knowing fully well how important the upcoming chapter is, I didn't want to ruin it. Thank you readers, for reading this fiction and for patiently waiting till end because we are in the last chapter which is the LEMON chapter too. Hope you enjoyed the whole experience of reading the fiction.

It was the evening of the mating ceremony, when Sesshomaru dressed neatly in his white wedding robes, left his private chambers followed by Senosuke and Kenshi.

"Are you alright, Lord Sesshomaru?"

Rin's question broke Sesshomaru from the reverie. Her worried expression made him realize that Rin was perfectly capable of reading his mood beyond his deadpan mask.

"Hn" hummed Sesshomaru.

Rin knew that something was amiss. But she chose to not to probe further.

Wedding ceremony ended gracefully in the presence of a happy Kaede, Shippou, Tai, Emiko, Jaya, Sae and not so happy Inukimi. Rin was smiling ear to ear and as for Sesshomaru, his twinkling eyes showed his own joy. The crowd was cheering that, finally, their beloved Lord was no longer a bachelor.

After making promises of frequent visits, Kaede, Shippou and the others left and they were taken to their village by their demon escorts deputed specially to take care of them.

Then came the wedding night. Rin was looking like a celestial being in her pink kimono with elaborate floral designs. She was waiting in their splendidly decorated private chambers not for long before she found her demon lord darting in her direction in his signature grace. She found some sort of determination in his eyes, invoking her curiosity.

"Did something happen, Lord Se-"

The demon lord never let her complete her sentence, he simply captured her mouth with his taking her by surprise. Rin was as eager as him in returning the favour. Rin felt his mouth sucking hers in utter want. She opened her mouth and in came the wet piece of fleshy muscular organ causing such blood rush across her face. That organ kept exploring the small compartment inside and started picking fight with its counterpart. Rin felt hot steam shooting out of her tender ears, and oh my God! Was she feeling like….WOOOW! But she was persistent in fighting back with her own little verbal muscle, although not very successful in gaining dominance.

One hand was holding the thin human frame in support from falling, but the other was a wicked one. It pulled at the obi and made a total mess, making the edges of the heaving clothing edging at the maiden's thin shoulders. Rin felt herself floating in air and the next moment, she felt the super-softness of royal mattress on the back of her whole body.

Her mouth was released to permit entry of the air of life. *GASP* Rin gasped when the demon lord's mouth found the crook of her neck.

*GASP* The poor human gasped and could feel blood rush in every blood vessel in her body as the demon's mouth started sucking her neck and licking her collar bone.

*MOAN* An innocent moan discreetly left her sweet mouth, tempting Sesshomaru to lick the sweetness of her lips. Moments passed before Rin realized that Sesshomaru already withdrew from her and was lying at her side, his eyes fast shut. As she struggled to catch her breath the girl rolled onto her side in his direction and said tentatively, "Lord….Sesshomaru….?"

The silence in the room, made Rin doubt the audibility of her voice. But then again, her demon husband's sense of hearing was super natural. She gulped and gave a second but a louder shot, "Lord?"

No reaction. Rin began to worry. She sat up. He front was open, making her more than half naked. She awkwardly adjusted the kimono in place, just so it covers as much as it should and reached out for him. Suddenly Rin became aware of how big the size of their bed was. Speaking of king-size beds. It was such a huge one fit for the kings. She inched closer to him and bit her lower lip. It was when he felt soft hand on his shoulder that he opened his golden eyes. Rin took a deep breathe and uttered. "What happened, Milord?"

Sesshomaru never met her in the eye. He just couldn't. Nor did he gave her an answer.

Rin swallowed hard. She felt her small body filling with guilt and anxiety. Why did he stop abruptly?! What went wrong?! Did he not like her…?! Was he not enjoying?! Or was it something she did or didn't do?! "I'm sorry Milord. Did I do something wrong?"

Sesshomaru shifted his body in discomfort. He was making his little Rin feel guilt-ridden. But he answered not, nor did he meet her gaze. But the scent of Rin's sorrow and unshed tears started to threaten him.

Rin started in her crybaby tone, as tears started streaming down her cheeks, "Was it something I did….? Am I not good enough to your liking, Milord? I'm sorry I disappointed you-"

"Rin" Sesshomaru got up the next instant meeting her teary gaze in the faint candle light of the chamber.

"It's not about you" said he as he wiped the tears off her soft skin. "It's about me". There he is, opening up. He, then, realized that, secrets which even painful death can extract out of him, can easily be exposed with just a few drops of Rin's tears.

"About you?"

"Hm" he hummed with a small nod.

"Now go to bed. You had a long day. You need rest"

"But it's our wedding night"

"You need sleep" Sesshomaru ignored her remark and gently pushed her thin frame onto the mattress.

"No! I can't sleep!"

"You have to"

"But what about you?!"

"I will too" said he as he laid next to her.

"B-But-But why?!"

"….", Sesshomaru's eyes were fast shut. He didn't want to see her troubled face any longer.

"Lord Sesshomaru!" Rin got up and place her hands on his chest, shaking him.

"Why are we not-I mean….why are you like….Um….Why wouldn't you have me?!" said she with reddened face, "Lord! I know something is wrong and you know what it is! You're just refusing to tell me!"

"….." Sesshomaru was persistently silent.

"Lord, please! Today's the day you have made the vows of holy matrimony, to share with me the good, the bad, everything in your life…. And now….? Were they just words for you…?"

"I take you to be my mate….to have and to hold….

From this day forward…..for better, for worse…..

For richer, for poorer….in sickness and health…..

To love and to cherish….till death do us apart…."

Sesshomaru mentally recalled the vows he made just few hours ago. Rin was rightly pointing that he was being unfair with her for not sharing with her what she truly deserve to know.

"Lord Sesshomaru….Why….?" Rin's voice trailed off as she buried her face in her palms and started weeping.

"Rin. Stop crying"

Yes. Rin's crying was the most powerful weapon he's ever beheld.

"Listen to me" said he, which caught her attention.

"This is not less complicated…."

Rin raised her brows in confusion, "What is not?"

"Our mating"

-FLASHBACK STARTS-

Minutes before the start of the ceremony, Sesshomaru was done with his attire and was ready to leave his chamber before which Senosuke and Kenshi entered after a quick knocking. Both looked tensed, invoking the demon lord's curiosity. His unspoken words were delivered well into the heads of the warrior demons. Kenshi was the first to break the silence.

"We ugh….wanted to talk to you sooner about this but everything happened so suddenly. There was no time to cope up with the unexpected development"

"Is it something that cannot wait till the end of the ceremony?" Sesshomaru was not ready for any sort of calamity to reach his knowledge till he was through with his ceremony with Rin. The function was about to start and he was clear about his priorities.

"Ah! Well…..Sort of….." Senosuke stammered.

"Sesshomaru, this definitely has to do with your mating with Lady Rin. So my advice is that you should know this before you make the plunge"

Sesshomaru's eyes narrowed. He knew not what they were about to tell him but he was already hating what he was about to hear, "…..Go on"

Kenshi took a deep breathe and started, "Sesshomaru, you are about to mate a human. Having a conjugal relationship with a human is not easy for a demon having no experience with demonesses"

Brushing aside the feeling of pinch when his inexperience was pointed out, Sesshomaru shifted his glance to the most "experienced" Senosuke demanding a rational explanation with his raging glare.

Senosuke didn't disappoint him, "Human body, especially those of a woman is very very fragile for demon standards. Demon instincts are usually very aggressive during copulation. You'll end up tearing her apart or more like breaking her bones in the process. It's very dangerous for humans to copulate with demons, especially when the demon has not much familiarity to-"

After giving his racing mind instructions to remain tranquil, Sesshomaru said, "How can this be resolved?"

Senosuke did expect the question and he exchanged glances with Kenshi.

Kenshi said, "Sesshomaru, as I said, it can be dangerous. A life threat for Lady Rin, to be precise. You might have to choose between having this mate with no copulation and no pups and not having her for your mate at all"

"Now why is my very choice of a mate being challenged, Kenshi?" said Sesshomaru in forced civility.

"Ah!" Kenshi was not on his guard to be hit by the question by his Master, "I didn't mean it that way, Sesshomaru. Surely you do understand what the predicament is here"

As he hadn't much time, Sesshomaru decided to forgive Kenshi for the time being and shifted his attention to Senosuke.

"Senosuke, is this matter as serious as Kenshi described?"

"Er….I'm sorry Sesshomaru. But, Yes…." Senosuke drawled hesitantly. He was clearly giving the answer Sesshomaru did not want to hear.

Sesshomaru felt the ground beneath shaking. This cannot be happening. Not that moment. Not when everything seemed to have fallen in place and he was finally to unite with Rin.

"What is the solution to this predicament?" Sesshomaru was not one to give up. He'd find out a way to make it work.

"Er….Gain experience, then mate with Rin. You should learn to keep a tight leash on your carnal instincts. Otherwise, it'd be like a mad demon elephant on the loose. Very destructive"

Gain experience!? Is he insane?! If Sesshomaru's disposition had allowed him, he would have spat on his young knight's face in disgust. The very thought of another woman under him gave him the nausea.

Sesshomaru said, "Has anyone mated human woman who survived the process?"

"Sesshomaru, as you know, it is rare to find a demon mating a human, who are not most compatible for the physical relationship" said Kenshi.

"Yeah! Who'd want humans when all the fun's with demonesses?!" said Senosuke stupidly.

Sesshomaru fought the urge to punch on Senosuke's handsome face. He did not want to put his white wedding attire into the risk of getting bloodstained. This conversation was getting nowhere. He started to leave the chamber, "I do not want to be late for my own ceremony"

As the doors closed shut, Kenshi said, "Nothing of what we said has affected him"

"He IS affected, but not in a way you'd like"

An upset Kenshi met his gaze. Senosuke playfully winked and said, "I'm happy for his choice. He truly loves his beloved human. He wouldn't miss her for the world! He'd never wanna let her go for something like this!"

They both left the chamber to, following Sesshomaru's pursuit.

"But-" started Kenshi who was immediately cut off by the younger demon, "Don't worry, Master. He'd find out a way. He's not the Lord of all demons for nothing!"

-FLASHBACK ENDS-

Silence prevailed for few moments, as the information sunk into Rin's head.

"So that's why you were upset at the ceremony"

"…." Sesshomaru answered not. He turned away.

Seconds rolled by in awkward silence.

Rin drew a deep breathe and sighed out her resolution. "Lord"

"….."

Sesshomaru's gaze was fixated on the elegant chandelier on the ledge of his enormous chamber.

Rin moved and positioned herself in front of him and held his cheeks, gently coaxing him to face her. Golden gaze finally met the brown one.

"Do you think our union would result in anything that isn't good?"

"….."

"Do you think you can hurt me?"

"….."

"Do you think our mating would bring misfortune and not cute li'll pups…?"

"…."

"I don't think so, Milord. The thought that our unification would end in anything wrong never crossed my mind….even after hearing all that you have said, I haven't doubted my conviction, not even one bit….Because, I only believe in the strength of our bond….Our hearts are tied together. We are one soul in two bodies, I can't tell my soul from yours, mine and yours have combined and have become one in this eternal union"

"….."

"Why don't you possess the same belief as me, Milord….? Do you doubt the strength of our bond…?"

Sesshomaru shook his head in denial.

She's is unequivocally precise…. Sesshomaru had no idea from where he got his zest and confidence from, all of a sudden. He felt so full of vim and vigour. The threat posed to him by Kenji and Senosuke no longer bothered him. Rather his mind took the best out of the episode by keeping the facts only as a matter of caution.

This time, he did not turn away, when she pulled his head to hers, taking his lips with her own. He dwelled in the moment of utter sweetness, letting the excitement churn his stomach, as he fervently returned the gesture. He knew, that moment, that he can indulge in this escapade with calculated restraints. He wrapped his arms around her thin frame and his lips stretched into a micro smile as he felt her hands on his obi. The poor thing was struggling to open it. If he was of that type he would have chuckled. He decided to help her with his own hands freeing himself of his fabric.

Rin opened her eyes annoyed and a bit angered too, as to why the kiss was so unceremoniously broken. Sounds of fabric shuffling permeated the room and Rin found her lord kneeling before her with just his alabaster skin and body exposed to her full view. It was a funny view to see the shell-shocked Rin frozen, slightly trembling with the feeling of being so puny and derisory in front of the grandeur of her seamless Lord. She never guessed that he was concealing such perfection behind that hard armour, beneath those thick layers of pure white silk. Blood rush towards her nether regions increased by the moment, as her curious gaze went up and down his solid frame. Sesshomaru knew the look on her innocent face, was no longer innocent but so what? Was it not what he had wanted? Did he not wish his mate to simply drool over his flawless physique?

Her widened eyes were gleaming with passion and mouth was watering in want such that she did not even realize the edge of her kimono slipping from her right shoulder exposing one of her 'you know what's'. It was Sesshomaru's turn to be turned on at the sight. He simply grabbed her kimono and robbed her of the last piece of clothing covering her from his display.

"Now we're both even" said he, eliciting an alarmed gasp from his lovely mate. His sense of humour is not so bad after all! Rin's immediate response to the stimuli was to cover her front and turn around, showing her back to him. Sesshomaru was not discouraged one bit. Rather he was tempted even more to devour this human beauty. He caught her shoulders with his hands. Then he slowly and sensually slid them on her back all way down. Rin was shivering at the electrifying touches and let out a 'YELP' when his hands sneaked into her small, round bottom. She jolted and pounced on the mattress still covering her beet red face and whole of her front from his view. She realized that her Lord has reached that point where there is no turning back. She has aroused the demon that was dormant inside of him, and she's done for! Nothing can stop him from taking her that night!

Sesshomaru positioned himself with his kneeling legs on either side of her body and bent down. He started trailing soft kisses from the bottom along her spine while his hands were on the either side grazing her hot skin. Rin heard herself mewling out like a hungry kitten embarrassing herself in the weirdest fashion not to mention her shivering body. When he reached to top, he started sucking, licking and grazing his fangs on the crook of her neck earning a sweet loud moan from his mate. His hands were the cruellest! They pushed beneath into her front to her most sensitive organs making her jolt again. He swiftly rolled her around, exposing the whole of her front to him. She covered her front again marring the view of her most lovely bosom. She was wearing that worried, uncertain look on her face. He caught her hands to remove them from covering her but she didn't budge and her head shook in denial. She was clearly shy or may be even a little less confident about her looks. Sesshomaru did empathize her but he didn't take her hands off. He leaned down to capture her lips with his own distracting her into the little secret heaven of theirs. As lust was flooding into her mind, her body was slowing obeying his commands. As he plundered the treasures of her buccal entrance, he manoeuvred her hands up and held her wrists with gentle tightness on the pillow, above her head. His other hand, stealthily grazed down and finally captured the bosom where he had been craving to touch and feel.

Rin's eyes snapped open and Sesshomaru was quick to break the kiss and let her gasp in utter shock. But she did not stop his ministrations this time. She was getting drowned into this new-found feeling of ecstasy. He was such a sadistic demon, she just realized, that he can have his own sweet way and play with her body as he pleases. She was caught in this honey-dipped trap of lust he was concocting into her with his wicked but all the more artful lips, tongue and hands. She was panting heavily but covertly begging him for more with her sugary moans. He did not disappoint her, for he leaned forward and his lips, tongue and fangs followed pursuit of all those places his hands dared to explore. His mate's body was quickest to respond. She was squirming in pure need for both more attention and for liberation from his cruel ministrations.

Rin did not know what she wanted any more. She both wanted this to go on and to end there. Sinful lust was blinding her by the minute, making her craving stronger. Her ears heard strangest sounds coming from her very own mouth. She felt the strangest; the most embarrassed; the most raptured.

'Euphoria' was just one of the thousands of words Sesshomaru learnt from studying during his boyhood days, up till the previous moment. He was finally living the unearthly feeling of exaltation and it was Rin who graced him with it.

Seeing his own mate struggle for survival in the ocean of lust, Sesshomaru was not immune, for he was growing weaker by the moment and he knew he could not hold back for long. He was aching so hard that he wanted to do it and he wanted to do it right that moment.

"Rin, please just tell me when to stop" if at all I can stop…. Rin moaned out, "*MOAN*YES!"

It was that perilous moment when Sesshomaru held her hips tightly, breaking into the entrance.

*SQUEAL**GROAN*

Rin squealed in utter pain while the demon lord groaned out his ache. Sesshomaru was struggling to keep his control for he knew that if he let himself lose it, he'd end up ripping his mate apart. His eyes went blood-red and his marks on cheeks got ragged. His demon self was dominating his consciousness and he was clenching his teeth grappling to gain control of his self. His hold on her hips was getting painfully tighter every moment and unbeknownst to himself, his claws pieced into her soft skin. Rin squealed again in agony and tears were flowing out her eyes. The scent of her tears increased the discomfort of Sesshomaru but it did not help him gain control. He knew that he was to lose his sanity any moment and Rin's doom was sure to follow. He was such a fool! He should have known better than to set aside the warning of his demon companions.

*LOUD GROWL* Sesshomaru lost it.

YES! The vicious demon was ready to tear its victim apart without a thought! Rin's eyes went wide in horror. She knew then, that she was in great danger. It started to pound into her with such force that Rin knew, she'd not survive the attack. She screamed out in pain. What was she to do?! How was she to bring her Lord's sanity back?!

"LORD SESSHOMARU! Please stop! It hurts so much!"

The demon seemed to have turned deaf. Her plea went unheard. But her pain kept increasing. She was going to lose blood if this keeps up.

"Stop it! Now! Lord Sesshomaru! Listen to me! Please!" Rin's eyes were streaming with tears.

*GROWL* The demon growled as it felt a strange churn at the pit of its stomach. It knew that something was not right. But it did not stop the ferocity.

"I LOVE YOU, LORD SESSHOMARU! I love you so much! Please stop!"

*PLOP**SCREAM*

Sesshomaru's form froze and his hands plopped on either side of her screaming mate supporting his large frame from crashing on her. His sclera turned from red to white and marks on cheeks went normal. Sesshomaru was panting hard as he felt his saneness returning. All the while, his subconscious mind was fighting hard from hurting his mate but the cognitive faculty lost communication with his conscious mind which was taken over by the inner demon. So whatever Rin or his own sub-conscious mind was telling him was not taken in by the conscious mind. It was when Rin declared her love for him with such gravity, the message went through the conscious mind and re-established the lost communication between the conscious and subconscious mind. As a result, Sesshomaru got back his mental balance.

From what he felt and from the look on Rin's face, he realized that he had already released inside of her. They have done it….?! And Rin's still alive and in one piece…? Rin was smiling her warm, loving, smile at him making him fall in love with her all over again. Her expression was giving him both appreciation and reassurance.

"See! I told you we can pull it off!" Said she.

Sesshomaru was greatly pleased and was pretty much relieved. He did not have to worry about killing his mate in the process of copulation. He leaned down and placed his forehead against her. It was his way of cajoling her.

"That was fantastic! Never that it'd be soooo good!" Rin said with starry eyes.

Sesshomaru felt his chest puffing up in pride. What more would a demon want than the appreciation of his sexual ability and potency by his mate?

"How about a reprise….?" He suggested playfully, knowing fully well what her immediate reaction would be.

She did not disappoint him for she reacted with widened eyes and reddened cheeks, gently uttering her refusal, "Good Lord! Not anymore for the night! First, let me recover from the shock of a near-death experience!"

If Sesshomaru was of that type he would have chuckled. He simply let his lips stretch into a 4 mm smile. He settled himself on the mattress, next to her, curling his right arm possessively around her naked frame.

"Fine. Off you go for now. Prepare yourself for the assault in the following nights"

Rin giggled at that, "Only if you let me sleep in peace now

"So be it" said he, as he shut his eyes and cuddled above her with his chin on the top of her head. The couple let the Goddess of Slumber take them both over for the rest of the night.

Sesshomaru was clearly furious and displeased with himself when he found his claw marks on either side of his mate's hips the next morning. Senosuke was not entirely exaggerating about 'the mad demon elephant on the loose' part.

However, his mate was right. Their physical relationship became intimate, blissful and passionate as it was meant to be from then on. Much to the delight of the young couple, Rin was impregnated. It was only when Inukimi caught the first sight of her half-demon grandson who was just few minutes old, that she was beginning to experience this change of heart.

Its innocence and cuteness, apart from its striking resemblance to its father started to melt the stone-hearted demoness bit by bit. Having fixed, spending quality time with the infant her daily ritual and having noticed, although furtively, how good of a mate and mother Rin was making, Inukimi was feeling, may be, a bit, respectful towards her daughter-in-law. But she would never admit it though. But she was inwardly sure of one thing about herself. She has learnt to love the little demon pup, the heir of her son.

Rin was happy about the change in Inukimi but she was not surprised. She was a very optimistic girl and she always knew that she'd live to see the day when Inukimi grew to hold regard and even fondness with her, even though she'd seldom show it. As for Sesshomaru, he was a content demon, as against the super-ambitious one, he once was. Not that he no longer has any political goals. Just that, he learnt to live life to the fullest and keep performing his duties with due diligence and care without getting all obsessed with the fruits of his efforts. He had to learn a thing or two from his beautiful and wise mate.

As for Senosuke and Kagura, they had their mating ceremony two moon cycles after the mating of Rin and Sesshomaru. They were one of those couples, who practically argue or fight almost every single day. But their mutual love and respect and the strength of their bond should never be undermined. Kagura too was impregnated in just few months post their mating. The couple was undoubtedly in seventh heaven. Theirs was a girl baby demon, just as Senosuke prayed for. The knight was definitely a transformed demon. From a haphazard, happy-go-lucky demon who cared not for the world, is all over his demon infant. Kagura and even Sesshomaru were utterly surprised that Senosuke would make such a responsible, doting father.

Yes. This is definitely one of those stories, where they all lived happily ever after.

Hmm…. I think the LEMON part did not turn out well as you may have expected…. I'm disappointed too…. I've read a lot of LEMON stories in order to learn to write some in my own fics and I've noticed this standard pattern all writers follow in the contents and description…. I had wished to write, in my own style, something which was never read or written anywhere else before and this is all I could come up with…. Sorry…. _ But I sure hope that the overall experience in reading this fic was to your liking….
