HIC!
"Dean!" Castiel called in panic, looking up with wide blue eyes as the Hunter ran in. "What's *hic* wrong with me?!"
Dean blinked at the Angel sitting on the bed in surprise for a moment before he burst out laughing. "They're just...hiccups." He managed to get out between boughts of laughter.
"Hiccups?" Castiel frowned. "Why *hic* do I have *hic* *hic* these hiccups?" He looked up in worry as Dean started laughing again, wondering what the Hunter found so funny. He didn't think these...hiccups were very funny. "Dean! I'm dying *hic* here!"
Eventually the Hunter manage to calm down enough to speak, although he still let out the occasional chuckle whenever Cass hiccuped with those wide, terrified eyes of his. "No, they're not lethal, Cass." He said as gently as possible, trying not to roll his eyes.
"Then what are they *hic* for?!" Castiel asked, still sounding panicked. He did not like these hiccups. "How do I get rid of them? Are they a disease?! Are they contagious?!" His eyes widened and the Angel slowly spotted away from Dean as if he was afraid the Hunter would catch them.
This time Dean did roll his eyes before setting about getting rid of Castiel's hiccups. He had the Angel hold his breath for fifteen seconds. Nothing. He had him drink gulps of water. Still nothing. He had him hang upside down, holding his breath while drinking water and still the hiccups continued. Dean even managed to scare Castiel and even that couldn't stop them. Finally Dean huffed, pulled Castiel forwards by his tie and captured his lips in a soft kiss.
When they pulled apart there was silence as Castiel blinked in surprise at a rather flustered looking Dean. The hiccups had stopped. "Oh..." Castiel murmured, a small smile curling at the corners of his lips. "So that's what they're for."
