I was watching the episode called Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough (I think) and Jesse wanted to boys to come back and despite them not wanting to Bo simply says, "Yes sir." And they leave and that's something I really respect that no matter how old they get they respect Jesse. I thought Rosco would agree.

Something Respectable

Rosco sat in his patrol car, Flash stationed respectably beside him with his head propped up on the soft crease between Rosco's leg and his hip.

"Oh git goo, It's lunch time Flash!" Rosco cooed with a grin, "The best time of the day! Kew, I just got me a sandwich." He peeled back the white paper surrounding it, "And guess what Flash you get some too!"

Rosco tore a piece of the freshly cooked slice of ham from his sandwich and dropped it into Flashes mouth; jumping a little because his fingers were almost bitten by her teeth.

"See, uh , Boss was gonna start chargin me extra for eatin inside his establishment the sheriffs office, so I duped him! I'm eatin in my car now!" he laughed.

Bo and Luke Duke came walking out of Cooters Garage to their car, Luke leaning on the hood while Bo leaned inside and grabbed the CB.

"Oooh." Rosco sat his sandwich down and picked up his newest thingy majig. It was, or at least it looked, like a bull horn, but it enabled him to hear things in over a hundred mile radius. It even had a settin to where he could zone on a specific area to block outside unwanted noise.

Came straight from Atlanta it did! You bet Rosco had saved up pennies and dimes for several years to be able to afford this thing.

Rosco turned on its transmission, its signal bouncing off his CB antenna to the Dukes.

"- And I want you boys back here on the double!" Jesse finished scolding.

Rosco could see Bo looking to Luke with an unsure expression but instead hung his head, "Yes sir, Lost Sheep out."

Bo dropped the CB back inside and set back against the door frame, "I guess we better go Luke." He looked to the ground as he slowly climbed inside the General Lee.

"Yeah…" Luke said flatly as he came around the hood and climbed in his side of the General.

Rosco leaned his ear closer to the speaker when he thought he heard Bo mumble something.

"Oooooh!" Rosco cried as a loud BANG resonated from the speaker.

-Across the Street-

Cooter banged the hammer against the wheel, "There you go Mr. Rhuebottom, good as new!" he smiled as he admired his work.

-Patrol Car-

Rosco angrily snapped off the speaker, wiggling his finger in his ear for a moment to stop the ringing.

Setting the speaker aside he watched as Bo drove by him, following the slow speak limit, the cousins lookin more long faced than his great great great aunt Prue- she lived to be 123.

Rosco reached for his sandwich, "Flash!" he gasped, Flash giving him a gruff whine in response as she licked at the remaining bread as she considered saving it since she already ate the rest of his sandwich.

"There goes my lunch you hound." Rosco mumbled, patting her head so she'd know he wasn't mad at her.

Rosco propped his arm up on the window of his patrol car.

No matter the fact of how old Bo and Luke got, they never disobeyed their Uncle Jesse. They always treated him with respect just like it said to do in the good book. That, itself, was something Rosco respected about them indefinitely.

Sorry this was so short… Please leave me some feedback =)
