A.N. So I'm still continuing from my story 'secrets of the heart' but I'm in the middle of writing the next chapter and I wanted to write a fluffy little one shot about Mickey and Emma and this is for my regular reviewer 'Broadwaybaby' as a thank you for all your encouragement and also thanks to anyone else who has reviewed it.

Disclaimer:Sadly I own nothing *sigh*

Emma woke up with a terrible headache and a throat like sandpaper. How much did she drink last night? The answer... Nothing. Emma was sick. Rubbing her eyes, she climbed out of bed and groaned as a wave of nausea hit her. Ok, she was really sick, and she had been for a few days.
On usual days she would get up and shower in her en suit bathroom, before getting dressed and eating breakfast with the rest of the gang in the sitting room, today however, she got up out of bed and out on her dressing gown. She walked out of her room and into the main hall of their penthouse suit.
"Aye up, 'ere comes trouble!" Said Ash from the sitting room. "How are you feeling my dear?" Asked Albert in his soft, American drawl. "If everyone could just stop shouting I would be fine." Winced Emma in a croaky voice.
"It's okay Ems, just a touch of flu." Said Shaun in a casual voice. "It'll be over soon." Emma glowered at him and walked of to the kitchen mumbling something along the lines of "just a touch of flu... Breath all over you... Won't like it."
When she reached the kitchen she found Mickey already stood at the counter with a pot of coffee. He handed her a mug full of the stuff and she gulped it down quickly, soothing her throat.
She sighed. "Thank you. This flu is getting on my nerves now. All I can think about is how crappy I feel and how nobody else got ill." She said grumpily. Mickey smiled at her sympathetically. "You know that I would gladly swap roles with you. Anything to make you feel better." E,,a looked up at him through her eyelashes, suddenly feeling shy. "Really? You'd do that for me?" She asked him, and also herself. "Yep. Anything." He said looking her directly in the eye. Emma, without noticing, started leaning in until their lips touched. Suddenly, all shyness was pushed aside and the flew into each others arms, holding one another in a deep embrace as their lips brushed against each others.
"Alright you two, break it up before Shaun sees you." Laughed Ash from the kitchen entrance. Emma looked up at Mickey to see him smiling and grinned back, forgetting all about her illness.

A.N. Tada! So what do you think? Good? Bad? Meh? Let me know what you think and leave a review and thank you very much to anyone who does review. Once again thank you 'Broadwaybaby' your reviews are appreciated. Much love xxxxx
