Star: Hey! Star here! Thanks so much for all the support, and the ideas are fantabulous!
Mindy: Star, what are you doing? You don't use the words fantabulous!
Star: I dunno. -shrug-
Ringy: We do not own Shake it Up! or any other mentioned properties. The idea of this chapter belongs to Crazy4dogs! Thanks so much ^.^.
WinterFairy7337: Thank you :).
Arianator: Sorry it took so long D:! Thanks for your support! It makes my day.
Crazy4dogs: Thank you soooo much for all the reviews and support! You make me feel lurved and junk! xD. The idea helped a lot. I'm really glad you enjoy that story. I've been watching a bit of Liv and Maddie (or is it Maddie and Liv?), and it's cute. I doubt I'd make a fanfic for it though. If I do, it'll probably involve Maddie since she's my favorite.
2cool4oooCOOKIES: Thank you, darling ^.^.
JACE4EVER: Idea would help a lot, thank you. I'm glad you like the stories. I honestly don't know why James was in the chapter. My brain just didn't want him here or something.
BFFsRawesome2me: Thankies for the idea *u*. I doubt I'll use it but thank you anyways.
Electricgirl101: Thanks for the support c:.
It was after school, and all my friends knew I liked James. I actually felt free, you know. It's like a huge stack of books got lifted off my back, and I can finally run a little freely. But I still have to make sure my feet don't stumble. When I got home, I checked my phone. There was a missed call from James. I immediately called him back.
"Hey, Cece," James picked up.
"How did you know it was me?" Cece asked him.
"Your caller ID," James pointed out," isn't obvious."
"Whoops, hehe. SO! What's up? Why weren't you at school?" I asked him.
"I had family over, but I went right after school to get my work."
"Of course."
"What's that suppose to me."
"Your such a dork."
"Thanks for stating the obvious. Anyways, Cece, you want to go read to the little kids at the family? I'm taking my younger cousin."
"But um... I can't read. Well, I can. But."
"At least go with me."
"Fine. Let me as my mom, and I'll see you there. What time?"
"In about two hours."
"Okay. Bye, James.
"See ya, Cece."
I was waiting in front of the library, and I saw James and a little girl with curly brown hair walk up to me.
"Hi, James," I smiled and bent down," who might you be?"
"I'm Marilyn Brooke Mason," she shook my hand.
"Well," I shook her hand," aren't you a special one."
"Let's go inside. The reading time for children is about to start," James said and led us inside the huge library. We walked by many huge shelves. They were all hipster and modern, and it was pretty nice. I've never seen that many books, and I really loved the smell of coffee mixed with old books. It was pretty nice vibe. We went upstairs, and there were kids surrounding a middle aged lady. There were moms on the side.
"They're so cute," I told him.
"Mary, go sit with them," James encouraged her. Marylin nodded and went to sit with the other kids. James and I stood at the side, and James then saw the books at the side. He motioned me to follow him with his hand. I went next to him, and we looked through many children's books. We chose two books that seemed cute. Well, he let me chose them. He said he's read them all. I never really liked to read as a kid, so I didn't really know any of them.
After a few minutes of a rat who became a singer, James went to the chair. He greeted the lady, and I stood off to the side, holding the second book. James sat down, and he started reading to the kids who had sparkles in their eyes. I smiled, and the lady who was reading before him came next to me.
"You're so lucky to find a good boy like James," she whispered," he's a keeper. Oh, I apologize. I'm Sandy."
"I'm Cece," I whispered," also, James isn't my boyfriend."
"He isn't? I apologize. But by the way you look at him, it looks like you like him."
"You don't have that wrong," I said nervously.
"Why don't you read?"
"I um... I have trouble reading out loud."
"Don't feel pressured to read. But maybe you and James can read together. The kids love collaborations."
"Hm... I'll consider it."
I saw James as he read to the kids with a soft yet adventurous voice. The kids were looking at him with such interested eyes. Once he finished the book, he motioned me to sit next to him. I did, and I opened the book.
"You want to read with me?" James asked me.
"But I um," I stumbled.
"If you have trouble, I'll help you," James smiled. I nodded and we read.
Maybe it was because of him.
But I didn't mess up.
When we were leaving, a little girl even came up to me and asked me if were dating.
"No, sweety," I laughed and bent down to her height.
"Soon?" she asked.
"Maybe," I shrugged and smiled. James and I exited the hotel.
After dropping Marilyn by her house, James walked me home. We were at the door before entering, and I was a bit nervous. I could have sworn he wanted to kiss me.
"So um, thanks for going with me," James smiled and thanked me for the millionth time.
"No problem," I told him cheerfully," it was nice. All the little kids were so cute!"
"I'm glad," James said. We got closer, and we were about to kiss. Then my lovely mom opened the door.
"Hey, Mom!" I said and quickly pulled away," This is James."
"Hey," Mom shook James' hand and made him wince in pain," I'm Officer Georgia."
"I'm James," James trembled a bit and shook her hand," I was just about to leave."
"I've noticed," she said and let him go.
"Well. Uh, bye," James said before walking away.
"New crush?" Mom said once he disappeared.
"Mom," I whined.
"Common, Cece. We're girls here. If he is a new boy, I'm glad you found a good one," she smiled," he's a keeper."
Star: THE PAIN! SO MUCH PAIN! It was for you guys. My beautiful and lurvely Starkers. I don't really like writing this story, but I'm gonna try to finish it ASAP before I ruin it completely. I'm highly aware this chapter stinks. I just don't like writing this anymore. I lost my interest in Shake it Up!, and the show has finished. The fact that JaCe is 100% dead like, so dead isn't helping. Thanks for everything. Lurve ya'll.
