So this is it! The very last chapter! Finally!

Chapter 60: Epilogue: Life when you love and you are loved back
Aphrodite POV
"Mom...Mooom..." Oh no, no…not now! ...Cupie has always had such bad timing!…
"What are you doing?" he asked once he entered my bedchamber.
"Spying again?" I turned off my portal when he cast me that implying look.
"Come on...get out of bed...I need you to babysit a little bit..."
"I can't right now Cupie..." I said sinking in my fluffy pillows and waiting for him to leave already...I had been missing so much already.
"Please...if not, I'll have to tell Ares that except for checking up on them all day long, you don't do anything else anymore."
"Don't even dare…!" I said, getting up nervously.
"I would but you will babysit right? So that won't be necessary?"
I furiously bit my tongue...Ohhh...he had me…When had he learnt to manipulate his mother so well?
"Ok…ok..." I agreed, finally giving in.
"Perfect...I will only need a few hours alone with Psyche…" he concluded.
Yeah, sure and in the meantime, I will lose so much of the fun. I nodded though and then I materialized in my grandson's room.
"Grandma Dite" Ohh how I hated that word...It made me feel so old!
"Hey little one…what are you doing?"
And then, all of the sudden, a very good idea came to me. I didn't need to miss on anything actually.
"Would you like to see your cousins, handsome?" I asked, smiling wildly at him.
"Yeah...!" He replied, bouncing in excitement.
Eve and Adam had become good friends with my little pie over the years.
"Come then."
Well...it wasn't as fun as spying but being there with them was something though.
I remained invisible for their eyes for some minutes, my grandson's hand in mine... Gabrielle was frying something in the pan while good little Evie that was now four, was playing with her two year old brother.
"Adam...stronger!...Did you see mommy and daddy playing? That looks so real..."Adam was struggling with a wood stick in his hands…
"You are bigger..." he added, defending himself…
"Daddy is bigger too but he never beats up mommy..." she rationalized.
"I want to play too..." My little cupcake said, pulling at my hand.
"Hey guys!" Gabby turned at my voice and got up from her position.
"Dite... Dite!"
The children covered Gabrielle's voice when they saw me and came running towards us, throwing their wooden swords on the ground. What can I say, children love me…I'm a lovable Love Goddess!
"I missed you..." Adam said...
"Me too guys..." I kissed them on both cheeks.
"I brought someone along..."
My sunshine came from his little hiding place behind my back.
"Yes...!" Evie yelled... "Now you two can play together and see that I can still beat you..."
"Gabby...we need a new sword for Bliss…" Eve announced.
"Why don't you play something else for once?...I can't make a new one on the spot sweetie. I'm cooking breakfast."
"Come my little one…Show them that Love gods can fight too..." I urged, making a wood sword appear in my hand seconds later.
"But it's pink..."
"What's wrong with pink cupcake?" Why does everyone have a problem with pink? Pink is like the best color in the world!
"I'm a boy..."
"Ok...ok..." I changed the color in blue and he took it from my hands and minutes later they were all playing.
"What are you doing Gab?" I turned my attention to her.
"Breakfast...again…"
"Where are my love birds?" I asked even if I knew but it would have appeared strange not to ask since everyone knew that they were my big project and that I needed to keep tabs on them.
"They woke up...and left to have a bath before breakfast but that was some time ago...so I don't really know...sorry..."
But I did...I smiled...That was true…that they had woken up and went for a little bath but what Gab didn't know was why it was taking them so long but maybe she could guess...Fighting, making love and fighting again...and making love again can't be done in five to ten minutes, and when you need to take that bath too, it was logical that they needed some more time.
"Did you want to talk to Ares something?"
"Ohh no...I just came to visit a little bit...I'm babysitting for Cupie…He needs his time with Psyche."
"I see…" She laughed.
"Why do you..." But I couldn't finish my question because I heard the noise coming from the bushes and one moment later there they were…my Stud Muffin and the Warrior Babe. They were all wet and laughing. It was so good to see that happiness plastered on their faces.
"Dite...What are you doing here?" My brother asked, suspicion in his voice.
"I brought Bliss to play with your little pies." Xena just smiled when she looked at her children...They hadn't even observed that their parents were back, so caught were they in their little game.
"Gab…is breakfast ready?" Xena disentangled from Ares's embrace and came to see with her eyes the food that Gabrielle was preparing...
"I'm famished..." I would be too after such very good used time...
"Well guys...I will leave than...Let you enjoy your food...Sweetie come..." I called.
"We need to go back..." I explained to him when he tried to protest and then vanished fast before Ares made a hole through me with his gaze…
When Ares was glaring at me like that, I felt that he could see through me and I knew very well that he would eat me alive if he knew what I was occupying myself these days…years...Luckily he wasn't a God anymore...he had given up at it for Xena I suppose, even to this day I don't know the details but I just woke up and he wasn't a god anymore though he made Hades promise that he will keep his godhood safe just in case...
The day flied really fast and soon I was back in my chambers, in my bed, all alone with my portal, finally.
"Xena..." Ares whispered slowly at her back…
Gabrielle was already sleeping profoundly and so were the children ...Eve was such a sweetheart when she would take Adam in her arms, saying that she was protecting him from bad dreams...so now they were sleeping in a bedroll, both of them. Xena and Ares were sleeping together in a bedroll too, always beside their children. Gab was never too far either…
The fire was still burning to keep them warm for the night.
"Yes…?"
"Are you asleep?"
"Would I answer if I were, dumbass?" She turned to him and kissed him lightly, her hands resting around his neck.
"What is it?" She asked when she saw his serious face.
"Are you feeling…ok?"
Yes bro…finally...I thought he would never notice!
"It's that...a few days ago when we were in town to visit Joxer you said you felt sick and I was wondering if…"
"I'm fine…" she quickly reassured with a small, playful kiss on his lips and took his hand and put it on her belly…
"I'm just pregnant."
So you did thought is over huh? Well this one it is but I plan for a sequel which I hope to post soon enough so if you want to know what happens next than keep an eye on my profile!
